--- Review for ProFix Auto Shop - Disrespectful, Unsafe, and Poor Service I recently had a terrible experience at ProFix Auto Shop, and I strongly urge anyone considering using their services to think twice. Initially, the mechanic seemed calm and well-mannered, but as things unfolded, it became clear that professionalism, respect, and quality work were completely lacking. Poor Workmanship I brought my Jeep in for a suspension issue, and the problems began to pile up from there. The mechanic didn’t even bother to test-drive the vehicle after supposedly working on it, which shows his lack of attention to detail and care for his own work. Some key issues I encountered include:. Stripped Threading: The sway bar link attached to the control arm was improperly handled, leaving the threading stripped. This should’ve been properly addressed, but it wasn’t. Brake Line Backwards: They installed a brake line backward, which any competent mechanic would know not to do. Serpentine Belt & AC Compressor: After their so-called "repair," my AC compressor stopped working. When I tried adding Freon myself, the serpentine belt started grinding, smoking, and almost melting. The shop’s response? They shrugged it off, prevaricating and telling me to come back the next day like my issue wasn’t urgent. Despite all this, the mechanic refused to take the vehicle for a test drive to see the issues I was experiencing. I urged him to drive his own work and see what I was dealing with, but he just brushed me off. Unprofessionalism and Disrespect Beyond the technical failures, the behavior of the shop owner and mechanic was completely unprofessional. The owner seemed hasty and defensive, almost acting like he wanted to escalate the situation instead of resolving it. At one point, he even seemed like he was going to grab a gun, making me feel unsafe and unwelcome. His son was there as well, giving off the impression that they were ready to escalate the situation instead of addressing my concerns like professionals. I was calm the entire time, simply trying to have a conversation about my vehicle, but instead of listening, the owner got defensive. He even threatened to call the police on me, despite the fact that I never raised my voice or got aggressive. When I pressed him about the unresolved issues—especially the noise that I initially brought the vehicle in for—he dismissed me and insisted he didn’t want to mess with it anymore. Unsafe and Disrespectful Environment Perhaps the most unsettling part was the underlying threat of violence. The owner acted like he was about to grab a gun, and his son was standing there as if ready to back him up. I came to get my car repaired, not to be intimidated or feel unsafe. Conclusion The service at ProFix Auto Shop was a complete disaster, from poor workmanship to unsafe and disrespectful behavior. I left with unresolved issues and the same noise I initially came in for. This shop is unprofessional, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you value your safety and your vehicle, steer clear of ProFix.

I have had my car aligned here for about 8 years. They do really well and charge is cheaper than Precision Tune. And it was fast.

Owner was great and worked very professionally. Definitely recommend anyone to get their alignment done here. Good price as well.

Sam has the worst attitude I have ever met. He kept trying to fix my car and when he couldn't he sent me to the cadillac dealership he kept my $500 and would not refund my money and then I had to pay cadillac to fix whatbhe charged me for worst experience ever!!!

I have been taking my cars to Profix for almost 20 years. All I want is honest work at a reasonable price. Sam and Profix delivers on those results. I want to keep all the cars up but I don’t want to repair things that don’t need to be repaired. I have had an engine replaced, brake work done, alignments done, oil changes, etc. I’ve been happy going here and I’ll continue to take my cars to Sam.

Sam and the guys are GREAT! Couldn't recommend them more! Called Monday morning and he was able to get my car diagnosed and fixed same day. He is extremely knowledgeable and straightforward. Couldn't ask for better.

Been doing business with Profix for 25yrs.and have always been completely happy & satisfied with Sam's work. Was in shop September 23 for front end work,in&out less than half an hour! Very good mechanic!Like the sign once said "We fix $39.00 alignment"Just a footnote -Profix is a technician,.has anyone been reminded of inflation -cost,..You can't fix stupid!Keep up the good work Sam!

I took my vehicle to the shop with a scheduled appointment and a reconfirmed price for a diagnostic test on the phone however once arriving at the shop Sam quoted me a higher price for the diagnostic test at $30.00 higher than original quote he gave my wife. Sam whole demeanor wasn’t friendly at all. Sam appeared as if he was already looking for excuses not to do the work. I would not recommend that shop for anyone! Shop elsewhere

Sam is very rude. Likes to get argumentative when addressed about complaints. Had to bring both my vehicles back to be realigned because steering wheel was off center after they performed the alignment. I just show up to pay for a service, and if I’m unsatisfied, just make it right! I don’t want to argue or hear smart remarks as if I’m stupid first thing in the morning. He blamed the bad alignment on me having new tires saying the car needed to settle because everything is new. Hog wash! Alignment was correct after he redid it. I’ll be looking for a new shop to get alignments from as long as this dude is in charge. He’s really a turn off.

This is the best place to get an alignment by far!! Honest and priced reasonable!! Even has a Hunter alignment rack. Get it done right 1st time!! He got my Jeep back on track!

Was recommended to Profix for an alignment. I love that there was no long wait. There was 1 person ahead of me who also was getting an alignment and it may have taken them 15 minutes tops, if that, to get to me. He had me up and out in no time and the work was not sloppy. They also provide affordable prices.

Owner is rude! Talked to me like I was stupid because I am a woman! Misdiagnosed my car without even knowing what was wrong…. Not knowing my extensive knowledge of cars… had my car repaired by a more knowledgeable individual. I was recommended here by a friend of mine who’s an officer, smh didn’t expect this! Before you respond I don’t need to call your shop to “discuss” anything. You can take everyone else’s money.
