Eddie is very nice and very knowledgeable about cars. They answered all my questions concerning about my car. They did oil change, got me new tires to balance them and wheel alignment. Thank you so much Prospect auto repair.

It's great to have a reliable local garage. They have been keeping my 2006 clunker with nearly 200K miles on it running for over 10 years now. I trust that if they find something that needs to be fixed, it is something that really needs to be fixed. As an added bonus, they will often park my car when they are finished, so I don't have to back it out into 4th Ave. traffic and then look for a spot myself!

Terrible service , failed inspections trying to upsell me on things I didnt actually need. Avoid at all costs. Go to 75th street in bay ridge.

I've been trusting my vehicles with Prospect Auto, for many years. They do a great job and ALWAYS go out of their way to go the extra mile for me. They are trustworthy and skilled at finding the root of my vehicle's problems and their pricing is always reasonable. Crew is super friendly and the brothers are amazing communicators. Looking forward to using their shop for many more years to come. I have recommended them to many of my friends and collegues and recommend them to any new customer looking for a great garage, regardless of the size of the problem.

I've been going to prospect auto repair for over 6 years now. I live 83 miles away in Long Island. If my car needs to be fixed I drive it there or have it towed. I don't trust anyone else with my car. These brothers are very honest, and when they fix your car, it stays fixed. The prices are good and they don't add what you don't need.

I’ve been going to Prospect Auto for over 10 years. The service is thorough, fast, and the guys always get back to me via text or phone call. Just recently I had my catalytic converter stolen and they took care of it in a day. And prices are reasonable. Definitely lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

This is the only mechanic shop where I always take my vehicle to repair. They are super professional and never intend to rip off their customers. I have never had a problem with them for almost 8 years. Ehab and Ahmad are the guys you can always rely on. Highly recommended.

SUPER SHADY STAY AWAY Came in there for a slight tire issue, asked for an alignment, but they suggested a wheel balance which I agreed to. They call me saying they're driving the car on prospect at 70mph and think it might be the brakes, which I have no issues with. They lift the car up and confirm the brakes are fine. Balance the wheels, suggest a rim replacement and new tires which I decline for now. They bring the car out, and I pay for the service. Then I noticed they unplugged a self driving computer from the car's computer along with 3 other wires in the front and rear of the car and did not bother to plug it back in. I asked about it and they say all repair shops unplug dashcams for their privacy, sure. What about my privacy? I did not authorize you to drive my car, 10 miles, over the speed limit. All I agreed to was a wheel balance. I did not authorize you to disconnect anything in the car. The cameras for the computer are facing the road, not the driver, and even if it did, what are you trying to hide? Arrived home with one of the hubcaps about to fall off. When you entrust your car to someone else, you expect them to take care of it as if it was their car. You ask before taking the car out on a drive that was not required other then to upsell on some brake pads and rotors that have no issues at all. You don't unplug anything thats not yours especially when its a computer thats supposed to stay on battery power (you ruined a month of lost data) and especially when its a dashcam. Just take a look at what another dealer was caught doing after I reported damage to my car while in their posession. I don't write reviews, but this lack of professionalism deserves it. In a nutshell.. SUPER SHADY STAY AWAY.

Way too rude owner/manager and expensive. 5 quarts of oil $100. Oil made of liquid gold? Its only 4 cylinder car bro. Talk the price before you take the car inside the shop. Not coming back for sure
