Honest guy will look at your car tell you what's wrong. And you decide where to go from there. Had work done on my cat no problems.

SCAM!! SCAM!!!! SCAMM!!! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! He will take your money. Go to an honest mechanic not someone like him. Gives no receipt. No documentation of the work that he passes off as fixed. Will take your new parts if you bring them in and not use them on your car. Do not go here!!!!!

Scammers work at Pro-Tech Automotive. Be aware as they’ll take your money and not do the job on your car! Went back to them as the issue was never fixed they say they did the job when clearly the part was never even changed!

This shop is run by a thief!! They’ll charge you for labor and take your parts and never put it on your car. Stay away!

I have an old 2007 Mazda 5 and explained I already purchased brakes and rotors at an auto zone and asked him if he could put them in and I just pay for the labor. He said bring it in. I dropped the car off the next day at 11 am and picked up my car around 2 pm. Fast service, he even offers to give your old parts back( some auto places are thieves and say they changed the parts and leave the same ones, that's why i buy my own parts). Also he was also the only auto place that would let you bring your own parts as other places say we are full service and you have to buy the parts from us. I was charged $200 for the labor. Saving me a ton of money since most places charges $100 dollars per axle for just the brakes not including the rotors (if you are unfamiliar with cars, cars come with 4 axles). I will definitely bring my car back in the future. He also explained he only works on auto repair and does not do any body work.

Never had a bad experience here... That's saying a lot since I already know the business. I have to go here for certain things I don't have access to, and he always takes good care of me.

We took my husband's truck here for a check engine light problem and NYS inspection. He said he replaced a non functioning part required for proper emissions control. He said drive it 80 to 100 miles and the computer would re set. 100 miles and 510 dollars later, light is still onand we are out 510 dollars. He only takes cash and does not give a receipt or documentation of work performed.. We took it to two other places and both said that one of the the emissions devices was not functioning. We took it to another garage & left it for work. Garage owner said that it appeared to not have had any parts replaced. His cost for fixing it was 239 dollars and you get a receipt and documentation of work performed. A very expensive lesson for me.

Brought my truck in for some work a few years back. He managed to snap the hood latch off while it was there. When I pointed it out, he said it was like that and refused to fix it.

BEWARE....SCAM I took my car today to this shop. I explained to him my driver front turn signal was flashing fast for some reason. I explained to him that it looked like someone replaced the turn signal socket. He told me to give him $100 on an electric diagnostic. He came back and told me it was my 4-way blinker switch. I asked if he was sure and he said yes. He replaced it and still nothing. He then handed me back my keys and said he had to pick up his grandkid and couldn't figure it out. I advised him I paid $100 for a diagnostic. He said he doesn't know what it can be and didn't want to keep trying. He robbed me for a total of $125 plus $25 4-way switch I had to buy. I took the car straight to Lefebre's Auto Service on Stone Rd and within 20 minutes he told me the socket for the turn signal was bad. I was only charged $50 in total to repair the issue correct the first time. Mind you I just left "Pro-Tech" 20 minutes earlier and Lefebre figured it out asap. Lefebre's Auto Service even stayed open after hours to correct the issue. Pro-Tech is a joke and a scam artist. He looks like he smokes crack or some sort of drugs. He was high on some sort of drugs and only takes cash payments. That should have been the first red flag..... Be careful using this rip off artist. What a way to rob a customer a few days before Christmas. Thanks again Lefebre's Auto Service for finding the issue and fixing it within 20 minutes, even when you were getting ready to leave for the day.

Very dishonest. Said i had bad wheel bearing when i took my car in for inspection. When i asked for him to show me he couldn't do so. This is just the tip of the iceberg as i have had other bad experiences with this place.

Took my daughters car there just about a year ago because she had no heat. Was informed that she needed a new blower motor and paid $280 for the fix. The heat broke again (same problem as before) My daughter could not find receipt for the repair so we have been going a few weeks without heat. I found a friend of mine to look at car yesterday and he said the blower motor was shot. We went to advanced and paid for a new one and hoping the old one that was taken out was new and there was something electrical going on with the car....no the blower motor that was taken out was old and rusted. Its a possibility that he went to a salvage yard and purchased a working one but for 280 I would of expected it to be a brand new one in there.
