Took a perfectly good 750cfm carburetor on my 68 big block corvette and ruined it to the point where I couldn't even drive the Vette home, so I had to buy a new carburetor, he would not take responsibility for what he did.

Best place in the Bay Area to take your Corvette or Collector Car. Max the owner is completely honest and reasonable, but more importantly he knows everything about these cars. You may have to call him to follow up one in a while, but who cares. The place is packed with time consuming restorations and he is busy for a reason - - he has no equal when it comes to this kind of work. To go with someone who is less honest and competent because someone forgets to call you back once in a while?????????

I tried to have 20k worth of work done. Max the man with no personality. Never even called me back so we can order parts. Max seems not to care about business opportunities. He delayed my project by 2 weeks. Never again 😒

The Shop has been there for over 20 Years or more! Max owns and runs the place with a couple of techs that have been there for sometime . He knows almost everything about Corvettes from Old to New I would certainly consider bringing My Car there . Walking into His Shop is like trip into the Past !

Max is the Corvette whisperer. He expertly diagnosed my C7 chirping exhaust whistle squeak. He found a faulty pipe connection. The car runs perfectly now. Thanks Max! I am super happy with Race Street Rally.
