Great team here. Went through an awful time with my 2000 323iT over the winter with some bad luck. They got it done quick and helped me out more than they probably had to. I really appreciate everyone here and they're going to be my go to shop in the city from now on.

We went already imports to have my exhaust on my 2010 expedition repaired when we dropped it off we discussed the possibility of trying to weld it as a temporary fix until I could get the job done which about a week ago we dropped the truck off with the impression that it would be around $800 to $900 to get the manifold replaced a couple of days later My wife and I stopped in to check on progress and the receptionist mind you very nice woman try to be helpful as possible informed us did it maybe a couple more labor hours which was fine because manifolds are not easy. When we got a phone call a week later about some price adjustments It went from 800 and something in the beginning to $3,000 later telling us he has to pull the engine to do the job. And it would take approximately 20 hours to complete the job at $150 an hour. Something doesn't seem right to me because when they welded the manifold in the beginning they should have made me aware of broken bolts and things then and was never told until today that there was supposedly broken bolts when they started to work on it. Redi imports owner got very loud and started yelling at me when I told him that I was probably going to take it and have it checked by somebody else about the broken bolts because it seemed kind of odd to me that I wasn't told him the beginning. Telling me that I was threatening him by making that gesture I don't see it as a threat I see it as a safeguard on my end. I think the man had something to be worried about by the way he acted. I would suggest you don't bring your vehicles down to this person because they put supposedly new mechanics on to diagnose and the numbers are wrong or it's the owner fixing the numbers to line his pocket. Had new tires and alignment done. Had some issues getting it to go straight with the wheel. Jessie was able to assist me in getting it down and was extremely patient. That mixed with Ians customer service, ill be bringing my type r back next time it needs work done

Anyone who owns a 300ZX knows how hard it is to find a shop that understands these incredible (but temperamental) cars. In the 20 years that I've owned Z32s, I've been hesitant to bring them to a shop, preferring to do the work myself. Redi Imports has completely changed that for me. Ryan and his team are not only incredibly knowledgeable about the Z and other imports, but they're passionate owners of these cars themselves. I was blown away by their attention to detail and customer service, and will absolutely be bringing my Z back there whenever needed. I can't recommend them enough.

We need our 2015 VW Touareg TDI serviced and I do not (aka will not) trust the dealerships as we've had bad experiences in several locations. I contacted Redi Imports via their website and was able to communicate our drop-off, desired repairs, etc. ALL BEFORE ever dripping off our vehicle. The Redi team did a decent job of communicating with me and my wife as we were both fighting stomach bugs this past week. They had our vehicle for a total of 3 business days and the work all appears correct so far. The AC now blows cold❄️ thanks to the new blower motor. We decided to defer a couple non-critical/non-safety issues to a future servicing... and we're planning on having Redi Imports perform service again on our Touareg TDI.

I drove an hour each way from Buffalo and spent ~$6,000 from late 2021 until August 2022 on services at Redi for my 2015 VW GTI. Things like oil changes, tire mount and balances, alignments, suspension install, DSG transmission service, timing chain and tensioner service, as well as an intake manifold carbon cleaning. Had a great experience with them until the owner decided not to help me out when I discovered that his technician reinstalled my throttle body hose clamp in a compromising position (during the abovementioned carbon cleaning)--as to later puncture my AC system line with one of the clamp bolts. I spent $1,000 on AC repair thanks to that. Ryan's position was that he can't warranty labor on aftermarket parts (the throttle body hose) and that he "had to draw a line somewhere". I could understand Ryan not willing to help me if I brought the part to them and it broke something trying to install it or it failed prematurely. The problem is, that doesn't pertain to this situation. I didn't come to Redi with my hose and clamp and ask them to install it. I asked them to perform a carbon cleaning, which involved disassembling many existing parts of the car. I will not be back to Redi Imports. EDIT: Owner replies after a year of silence to say that car owners who modify their car make poor decisions, when this paragraph is listed on his company website: “Since our inception, European and Japanese cars have always been our specialty due to their extreme popularity for modification in the car community.”

I’m a new customer to Redi Imports. I bought my car in for a thorough diagnostic. When I was ready to get my repairs done they were able to get me in quickly! Communication overall from beginning to finish was great. I was explained in detail what was needed for my car and they broke down prices as well. Customer service was great as well throughout all of the employees I worked with. Redi came highly recommended and I will continue to bring my car and future vehicles for any services I need.

Spent over a thousand dollars here trying to fix a stalling issue, they seemed to be cluelessly throwing parts at the car and just hoping it fixed it without any real testing of the “bad part” or actual evidence of how that would cause it. which by the way they did not fix the issue after spending over a thousand dollars on repairs, so I go to fix it myself and discover that the cam position sensor they replaced on my car, was not only a random unlabeled chinese sensor they charged me 80$ for when they told me it was a Bosch oem part. but it was also tightened into the side of my engine block with what i can only assume was a air impact gun because the bolt going into the sensor that’s supposed to be torqued to 13ftlbs was so tight it was twisting the torx bit i put into it but it actually snapped the head of the bolt off into the side of my engine. not sure what kind of monkeys they have working on the vehicles that they’re using that kind of force to tighten a sensor into the side of someone’s engine block like that, but i would not recommend anyone uses them for any service the whole experience was a huge headache and a waste of money.

Talked with one of the guys there as a walk in, and he gave me a ton of details and really tried to find the best thing for me. He even reference another shop where I have a good relationship with the owner but didn’t know he did that sort of work and he told me he was a great guy and he said no offense taken if you’d rather have him do it even after spending over 30 minutes explaining everything to me. I attend on going there for the work and would definitely return in the future.

came in for a oil change and tire rotation and when i got on the highway the car was shaking a lot and i swerved off the road when i got out of the car most of my lug nuts were missing and they were all loose then i saw a trail of oil behind my car and when i checked the dipstick it was bone dry they did not tighten the drain plug at all! bad mechanics!

My experience the 2nd time around was as good as my 1st visit. Ryan... you and your team are awesome. Don't listen to those negative reviews, the best thing to do is go in for yourself and find out what a good service they offer. I for sure will be back to get more work done on my vehicle. Redi Imports is not recommended for a visit. While the employees may be competent and courteous, the owner's behavior is questionable. I took my vehicle in for a brake noise fix, and the owner, who made the appointment with me, said, "We will check your battery, brake noise, engine belt, and tires, all free of charge." However, when I went to see what was wrong with my car, he started saying that I needed to change my engine belt, even though it was replaced about a month ago. Then, he said all my brakes were bad, suggesting that whoever installed them did a poor job. However, the front brakes, including the pads and rotors, are new and just needed some adjustments. He also insisted that I needed new tires, even though they are not even a year old and were recently rotated. His tendency to manipulate customers by suggesting unnecessary car parts for sale at inflated prices and treating customers disrespectfully makes it advisable to seek services elsewhere. Of course, I did not let him fix my car because his prices are ridiculously expensive, the customer service is poor, and he makes you second-guess yourself when your car needs just what you think it does. Do not go to this guy until a new owner runs the business who is honest, and where everything is not just about money. Additionally, when I declined to have my car fixed by him, he charged me a diagnosis fee, even though he initially said it was free of charge. He is a scam, so be cautious. Even if you consider going here, it's best to compare prices and quality of service with other shops before making a decision

Greg and John are very helpful when needing a car diagnosed and fixed. My Camaro was having tons of power steering problems. They tore everything apart and fixed it better than it ever was. These guys don’t give up on there customers. They will ensure that you’re happy and getting the services necessary to make your needs met. I have had two services with Redi Imports Downtown shop and felt it was time to drop a review. First had new tires ad alignment on my ( not import) GMC. Felt I got what I paid for, good brand name tires, and an alignment that I didn't know I needed (but I sure did need it), oil change and inspection. There was one minor snafu, but it was quickly taken care of. Next up I had an annoying suspension issue on my other (this time an import) car. It wasn't suspension as I originally thought...their team actually took the time to recreate the issue and track it down to something completely unexpected. This was taken care of in less than 24 hours, and at cost for just the diagnostic work. They could have given up, been dishonest and run the bill up, or just burned billable hours diagnosing the issue. They did neither. I feel this is an honest, clean, respectful shop that actually likes their customers and fixing their cars. Give them a shot I think you will be equally satisfied.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I wish I could post a pic the way they left my vehicle. They were upset because I did not want them to fix my alternator because they were overcharging me. So therefore, they said they wanted my vehicle off their lot if not picked up by the same day they were going to charge me $45 to store my vehicle, After they had my vehicle for two weeks, without even looking at it. Also, the full time that they had the vehicle they told me one price for a diagnostic then after I told them I don’t want them to fix my alternator. They went up on the diagnostic fee by $25. These are crooked people stay far away from this shop, or you will regret it. I wouldn't trust them with a broom less long my vehicle. Now I’m scared to take it somewhere else because I feel like they did something to my vehicle.

VERY OVER-PRICED, QUESTIONABLE WORK, owner quoted me $400-$500 for a 40k mi tuneup , then he went on vacation, garage had my car for 4 days longer than orignally said (they were so busy?!), somehow the new guy I was dealing with said I needed new brakes all around. Huh? That's not what the owner said and my brakes feel just fine. Ok, he says, just the front brakes need to be replaced. I asked if they can grind them down instead of completely replacing them. He told me no one does that any more. Another mechanic I spoke to latersaid that's not true, brakes are still ground down, but it's time consuming and dirty work so some mechanics don't like to do it. With all the things they found that needed fixed, they charged me $1100 (ex: oil change was billed at $170 - I pay $70 at Valvoline). Two days later, I was driving down to PGH for a family vacation, warning lights came on. Took me over an hour to find a garage at the nearest exit, mechanic said the garage that did the work hadn't secured the tires correctly after rotating- he tightened them for no charge. I felt ripped-off and hustled at Redi Imports, and not very safe in my car for a while afterwards. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT REDI-IMPORTS, VERY STRESSFUL AND WAY OVER-PRICED.

this place is just ridiculous, i had banned wheel and i ordered a new one and ask them to put new wheel on. They charged my $87 !!!!!! just pull the tire off and put it back on new wheels no alignment included and it takes a day to do it!!!!!
