Future customers, take note: my experience suggests either dishonesty or serious incompetence. I won’t be back, and I encourage anyone considering Reis Auto Service to proceed with caution. Below is what happened. Two weeks ago, I took my car to Reis Auto Service due to AC issues. When I arrived, the desk clerk (an older gentleman) told me they’d check it right away, with a diagnostic fee of $95—fairly standard. So, I left my car for them to inspect. When I returned, he informed me that my car needed a new condenser and quoted a repair cost of over $1,400. This price raised an immediate red flag. For that amount, I felt it was only responsible to get a second opinion. At another shop, I got my answer. Their mechanic found a leak caused by a simple missing cap. The solution? A $12 cap, a $50 can of Freon, and $80 for the mechanic’s labor—for a total of around $145. My AC is now working perfectly, without a hint of an issue. To be fair, I intentionally waited two weeks to ensure the other shop’s repair held up. It’s running as good as new. But Reis Auto Service wanted $1,400+ to replace a part that wasn’t even necessary. Whether this was an attempt to overcharge me or simply poor diagnostic skills, I don’t know—but it’s concerning either way.

DO NOT do business with this guy. I purchased a tire from Reis Auto for my Super Duty vehicle. The owner/manager sold me a passenger tire instead of a 10 ply. It blew out the next day on the interstate. When I called him to discuss it, he told me I was the problem and hung up on me. The price was $225. God Bless

I had several issues, involving my 99 Toyota Solsra, alternator, starter and then the battery. Mr. Reis quoted me a fair price, took it in quickly and had it out fast. Unfortunately, there was still an issue with the starter but he did not hesitate to get it back in quickly, repair and get it back to me. This is my 1st time there as recommended by a client. I just want to add, we are all hesitant with auto shops. But, the second time I went in, I had the opportunity two talk to TWO customers whom have been going there for 10yrs+. I felt very reassured. I wd say give him a try and I think you be pleasantly suprised there's still some honest shops! Thanks Much, Glenn P.

After going to repair shop near my work(3 visits over 2 weeks) and paying and paying for what seemed like "spin the wheel and I'll replace." After 3rd time, the car was still doing what is what when I first brought it in. I then went to Reis, and they took time to properly diagnose while showing me what they did and what they discovered. They fixed it, and I left a happy camper. Customer for life. Honest, professional, upfront, and they know what they are doing.

I came here today for the first time, brakes basically gone, calipers ruined; needless to say I was distraught. I met and spoke to Bobby, and he was extraordinarily professional and gave me a tremendously fair price. He’s a straight shooter, honest and you can tell this man knows exactly what he’s doing. I’m beyond impressed. I’m a single mom trying to make ends meet, and I know he helped me more than any other car service would. I’m going to recommend him to everyone I know and will only be dealing with him for now on. Thank you Bobby and thank you Reis auto service.

Bobby gave me a price that was almost the 3rd less than the dealer quote and did everything according to the schedule. They just threw an extravagant price at me without any breakdown whatsoever. They also committed to fixing three things. They only fixed one and then covered it up by resetting my sensor light. I highly recommend NOT using this place. I paid 1800.00 for a power steering pump. Theft!!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS CARS HERE! they will break stuff on your car and try to cover up for it. And if you r vehicle is "unfit" they WILL demand you to get it towed out... 🤦🏻 RIDICULOUS RIGHT!!! omg dont waste your time or money on this scam of a business.

Had a upper radiator hose replaced here, truck broke down weeks later due to the part this buisness put on my vehicle. Then when brought back I was told I had other issues and when tooken to personal mechanic, my vehicle was serviced for free due to it being the part reis put on. Don't get your vehicle fixed here.

I ran to this shop in desperation three months ago for a required inspection and was originally quoted $10 more dollars than another shop and Bobby didn't hassle me to price match... I loved that and he gave me my expected perfect inspection report. Flashforward to today, I had an overtorqued lugnut that snapped the threaded bolt off. Autozone said i'll need to replace the entire wheel bearing and I started to sweat. Luckily I went across the street to Bobby and he said he'll see what he can salvage. He was able to replace just the piece (he couldve easily said what autozone said and I wouldve believe him), and charged fairly even though I said the repair would be reimbursed - he didn't abuse on price. I went ahead and got my oil changed while I was there and that was priced great too! Our Jeep Patriot is back on the road and I am beyond any hesitation to recommend Reis to anyone in Town n Country with an auto issue. We sure found our local mechanic!

Steve and Bobby always treat me right. They are honest business men. I recommend them to everyone. The bad reviews on here are all people who expect to get something for nothing. I've been using them exclusively since 2011 that's over 10 years now and I never had an issue. It really is nice to be able to talk to the business owner face to face and be treated fairly. It also doesn't hurt that the prices are very reasonable. They have the cheapest synthetic blend oil change in town and they get you in and out quickly. Don't listen to the negative reviews on here by disgruntled people these guys are the real deal.

This place is a joke. I had my car towed in because my axle boot had snapped in half. I had ordered one online for them to install. Instead of checking to see if it was the same size they proceeded to install right before they closed. They called me right before they closed to let me know my car was ready. I payed closed to 400$. As I pulled my car out of the bay they new axle fell out of the shaft and broke again. They literally closed up the shop and went home while I waited for a tow truck to come get my car. At the end of the day I pulled my original axle out of the garbage and ended up rebuilding it at home and fixed my own problem without their help. I'll never come here again. They just took my money and left my car broke. Bad business.
