I’m a MaxCare policy holder, and typically I’d take my truck to Carmax for repairs, but in this case the wait time at Carmax was too long. I needed to get back on the road quick, so I decided to use a RepairPal certified repair shop. Without going into detail, my experience wasn’t without a few hiccups, but the good news is RepairPal had everything squared away in short order. While I am extremely thankful everything was taken care of, it was the customer service that blew me away. Shortly after leaving a message, Chimene with RepairPal contacted me. She was confident, kind, and knowledgeable in a way that was not condescending or dismissive. There wasn’t a question or concern that she wasn’t able to address. I have spent the better part of my career in customer service, but I walked away from our conversation thinking “I can do better.” This was a masterclass on how people should be treated. Thank you Chimene for all your help.

We purchased my husband's car from CarMax. It needed service, so I called CarMax for help. I opted for the chat service. I got the RepairPal !! I was very impressed with it's knowledge and help. I wish all of the chats were as efficient!

If I could give a million stars I would. Chimene- there are NO words. I have been dealing with a ship that has done absolutely nothing for me. And she went above and beyond and then beyond some more. She made sure my car AND me were taken care of. I will ALWAYS use repair pal because of her and her alone!!

As a shop owner they tricked me into getting their program and they take money even if the customers were not referred by them. You do not benefit from their program. Will never use them again.

I drive a car to get from A to B. When something goes awry with my car I assume I'll be entering the 7 circles of hell to get it fixed. Thus far, I haven't been to the shop yet, but thus far RepairPal has made the MaxCare utilization process smooth. I'll update my review if things take a turn, but I'm pleasantly surprised by the smoothness and Bre the lovely chat agent I've experienced.

To RepairPal Management, I am a current ‘MaxCare’ policy holder. I had a claim involving an engine repair that truly went in every direction but right since the start. I landed in contact with Deion after starting an escalation process through the warranty company. From the first received voicemail and throughout I have been nothing short of impressed. The professionalism and dedication to my needs as a customer and human being is truly unmatched. My case involved the need for constant attention, Deion never failed at being available and involved. I was able to get my issues resolved and I feel that all credit should go to him! He showed willingness, empathy, and patience while going above and beyond including being available during the weekend. I just had to reach out to someone, anyone, everyone and let you know what a gem he is. I have never had such a pleasant experience working with anyone for anything and I mean it. I hope this email is meaningful enough to grant reward or recognition to Deion as he is truly deserving of it.

When I say that, I'm gratefully BLESSED to have met Chimene. She went those miles to assure me that I have the repairs gotten done. Even in her absence , she had a plan and stood on the business. She is very polite and caring. I enjoyed working with her. If I could give her a HUG, I would, but we are miles miles away. My car is fixed and runs great.

Bunch of scam artists. Had the service, did work for about a year. Then all the work became unprofitable. On top of that they would hit you on 10% vig for customers that were coming to my shop for YEARS prior. Don't even get me started on the cancelation process. Lost thousands to these guys. DO NOT JOIN THIER PROGRAM.

I am writing this review from the perspective of a repair facility. For some background the repair facility I represent is a high production and well established business. We are the highest rated facility in the city and are centrally located surrounded by dealerships, freeways and tons of housing alike. We have partnered with Repairpal now for over 3 years and finally ended the partnership due extremely low return on investment. Repairpal over the past few years has produced very little work for us that is of much value. They often misquote clients and do not accurately reflect or advertise the services offered by our facility. Even after numerous calls with various service reps they could not get our account set up to reflect accurate pricing as well as services offered. A recent issue we had was charges that they called "estimated repair value" just because a vehicle was towed to a facility in our area. They never confirmed whether the vehicle had actually been delivered to us by the tow company or serviced here. Scheduling of services are requested but clients never show. This could either be them attempting to fake some value by making it look like they have clients coming from them or if not then the users are very low quality and schedule only to become no shows. Regardless of what the reality is its worthless. There is also no compensation to the shop for clients who no show or cancel last minute even though Repairpal knows we had to reserve that time for a client and respectively turned away other paying customers. For business owners or managers considering using this system I highly recommend to invest in Yelp advertisements which are far superior and bring in quality clientele. We will be re-allocating the funds which we had previously been wasting on Repairpals system to Yelp Ads. As a client using Repairpals system you should be aware that not only are they only provide you with an ESTIMATED COST, not a guaranteed price but also when you have service done they take a significant cut from the repair facility you are having work done at. Do yourself and the businesses a favor and just contact them directly so you can get direct and accurate pricing as well as not hurt them by allowing repairpal to cut into their profits. I recommend to search for reputable facilities on yelp to save yourself the potential headaches. The only reason I will allow for 2 stars is there is some very, very light value in the fact that sometimes (3-4 times a year) you can be referred a good extended warranty job.
