I’ve been coming here for years and the staff and service used to be amazing! This most recent visit I came in for a basic oil change. I’m familiar with everyone who works here, but on this most recent visit the newer lady working at the counter was so mean and condescending. I did not get her name, but she is a larger set woman with brunette/black hair. Every time I would talk to Chris’ wife or the mechanic regarding my vehicle the brunette lady would act as if I was “holding up her line” (I was the only person there) and was incredibly rude with her tone when asked any sort of question. Please find someone with better customer service skills.

Amazing customer service! I was stranded in Bakersfield and they were the only one who could help me with my cars issue. I tried both local dealerships and they were unable to help me. Finally, a local auto parts dealer suggested I visit Reprius. The folks at Reprius were extremely helpful and took the necessary time to help. If you’re in the Bakersfield area I’d highly suggest using them.

I could already tell that if you own a Prius—this place is the only place to take it. Do not pay for other mechanics education on hybrids—it isn’t that much more complicated. Chris and company know their stuff and are fair. It’s difficult to say that about many mechanics.

I have known this Reprius Inc for over 10 ten years. Kris is the best, very knowledgeable, details in diagnosing your car, provide professional advice to customers without minding risking his expertise to them. Honest and straight forward and affordable cost. No intent of ripping customers off. Allows customers to choose favorable options after diagnosis. So much to write about this wonderful company. He can also be of assistance on phone and sacrifice his off-work hours to attend to your car when you are in dire need of assistance. What a mechanic. Highly recommendable. This shop is a life saver if you have a Prius. They're honest and affordable. They take the time to explain why they're doing what they're doing and the different pricing options for each choice. They've never pushed me into a choice I wasn't comfortable making.

Took my Daughter's Prius in for some TLC.... Boy are we glad we did. Chris took charge right away. Even educated us on a few things. Charged less than Dealer, but Fair in Reality. Explained EVERYTHING in detail. No hidden fees. If you have a Prius. Reprius is for YOU!

We are incredibly grateful for Reprius. We were on an urgent trip from Southern California to Northern California when several lights came on. We called around, but many mechanics weren’t able to assist. We were referred to Reprius and received excellent service. Tim met us at his shop, showed us the issue, and told us the cost upfront. He taught us how to change the part ourselves in case this happens in the future, and we were in our way in less than an hour. Thank you, Tim, and thank you, Reprius!

Let me start off by saying I do most of my own auto maintenance and work. I have been a customer of Reprius twice now in the past year. Once to replace a stolen catalytic converter and once for an entire engine swap. The employees and owners of this shop 100% have my trust in their decisions and workmanship. They have been dead on for diagnosing and offered great turn around time and saved me from not having my commuter car. I strongly recommend anyone with a Prius contact Reprius as they have fair pricing, do great work and are mechanics I trust. The staff at Reprius genuinely wants to help keep these Prius' on the road and are often a fraction of dealerships offering the same service. Thank you Reprius!!

My "ready" light just turned off suddenly while cruising I-5So maybe a half mile before exit 225 ...Mettler. I was towed, with my two dogs, a full load coming from OR, in the wee hours by Trinity Towing, 28 miles to Reprius shop in Bakersfield. I waited for them to open. Clayton pulled a miracle out of his hat and restored my ready light in no time at all. Nevermind the week prior, also had to be towed, but 3.5 hrs back up to OR ... in a just redone engine and trans of an inherited 79' Intl. Scout - assembled using non flanged oil pan bolts! Never traveling during a Mercury Retrograde again. Reprius was fantastic. If I had had time to have them really dig into what my other Prius issues are, I would have. Plan to go back to Reprius on way back to OR to straighten out what Toyota of the Desert never can simply resolve - caught them in a flat out lie - never to return to any T dealer. Also, Anna, at the body shop directly next row behind, was a saving grace to me as well - she ran me to the store!! If you ever get stranded in a Prius in that area ... worth being towed to Reprius. Honesty, sincerity, fair pricing and friendly service. And I texted Chris, he replied, called back as well, offered to assist with question I had. They are seriously worth a 4 hr. drive to return to for Prius repair care bc they'll do it right. If not for Reprius, I'd have been forced to go to nearest dealer. Grateful and many blessings to them! I was so lucky after initial nightmare. Ready light had went out while so close to right-hand lane ... could reach out to touch semi trucks flying by, shaking the car repeatedly before I was towed. There was no way to move it over. I didn't want to be on the news: "Stranded female driver, 2 small dogs, plowed in disabled, awaiting tow, Prius by a semi." First time I was ever somewhat scared awhile waiting on side of an Interstate. Best thing was I eventually fell asleep til tow driver tapped on my window. "Toyota, oh what a feeling" that night. I think I'll make it a chapter in my book of memoirs : / JK
