I was so displeased with the service the dealerships offer that it was time for me to look for other ways to service my car. If you value your vehicle like I do mine, you’re particular about upkeep. My research paid off because I found Rick & Rays. They did a great job on my GLS. My E350 as well. They do a full point inspection and detail everything they recommend, prices and all. They don’t surprise you with unexpected repairs. Andrew was my service tech and he knows what he’s talking about. I most certainly recommend Rick & Rays.

I went to the dealership first for my hybrid vehicle, but they gave me an inspection report that was too pricy. I went to Rick & Ray's and they inspected the car and found a reasonably priced hybrid battery for me. As a college student, I needed to find an effective fix for a good price and they provided that for me. They went out of their way to search for a refurbished battery that saved me thousands of dollars. Thankful for their work.

I had a pleasant experience working with Andrew and the whole team. They provided an in-depth diagnosis of my initial concern, and provided advice that was fair and at my level. I appreciated that, while my vehicle had an identified issue, I wasn’t pressured into any work. Will definitely be returning when we need more work done.

Serviced my Porsche honestly. Dealer told me I needed 2500$ worth of work because of my cars age even though it had less then 12k miles and ran perfectly. Andrew my service tech had it inspected and as I suspected it needed nothing

They'll just try to rip you off and they have enough cash to not care. Editing this review for clarity, since Sergio generously replied: $90 just in labor for air filter replacement (in case you don't know this takes 1mins, no tools) $285 just in labor for battery replacement (LOL) $465 just in labor for rear brakes (pad/rotors) These are obviously insane labor prices to which they will not apologize, as mentioned. If these prices make sense to you please try Rick & Ray's out

Excellent customer service, thorough explanation on work needed to be done and fair prices. I drive 40 minutes to take my car to R&R. I have total confidence that, as a woman, they do not take advantage of my lack of automobile knowledge or try to sell me things I do not need. I am an AAA member and they recognize my membership with a 10% discount. Winner winner chicken dinner!

Facility unable to diagnose or repair problem after returning vehicle for further repair after the initial $300 repair did not resolve the problem. Vehicle returned with no proposed solution to problem. Facility did replace fluid at the return visit with no charge (thank you!) although there were no suggestions for further repair or resolution of the problem. I live near this facility and had hoped this would be a facility I would be able to use for repairs in the future, but my experience has left me with questions. Also, website has incorrect shop closing hours. Thank you for inquiring.

This shop has No INTEGRITY whatsoever & they conduct business financially unethically and dishonestly. Let me tell you how God works, my engine locked up and they thought they were going to screw me over, especially being a woman, saying my out of pocket cost WITH A COVERED WARRANTY was going to be over $5,000 for a USED ENGINE. They must of thought I was somebody's fool assuming I would move forward with that because I needed an engine. NOT SO!!! I kept feeling to get my vehicle and go elsewhere. They wanted me to think no place was going to be cheaper which I knew was a lie and a dishonest sales tactic. In addition, I knew my bill was going to continue to increase drastically if I preceded with the repairs because they kept saying there may be other problems after the replacement and I'm sure they were going to make certain there was. They were absolutely rude, nasty and upset that I decided to get my vehicle towed out. Their behaviors shifted when I told them I didn't want to do business with them anymore. They quoted me a final cost of $196 over the phone for the diagnosis knowing I was in route to pick up my vehicle and tow it out. They abruptly began trying to force me to leave my vehicle knowing the tow truck service was waiting outside to pick up my car to take it to the new shop location. The one guy tagged team with Chuck and began raising his voice & tone rudely trying to threaten me about receiving my car back. Then he began saying we need to do this and that to your car before you get it back and it's going to cost you. I couldn't believe how rudely they were treating and talking to me. Their inappropriate and unacceptable behaviors was confirmation and proof as to why I knew God was telling me to take my business/vehicle elsewhere because things were getting shady and I did not trust them. But let me tell you how God turned things around, blessed me and kept me away from these sharks. Not only did I get my engine replaced with magnificent mileage on it but I also got some other repairs done that were best to perform while the old engine was removed that was covered by my warranty at 100% and got fixed. My total out of pocket was a little under $200 which included my $100 deductible. Same repairs plus extra fixings but done elsewhere by honest & integral people! Won't God Do It!!!! SHOP AROUND!!! ***UPDATE 09/06/24*** I'm trying to figure out why the Owner has now responded with this long drawn out explanation? This came across my phone today. I removed my vehicle from this shop at the end of January 2024 and the Owner knows that my review is truthful and is exposing their unethical deeds. He or she now has to try and sweep over what I have shared because their business must not be doing so well. When you try to get over on people, do things under the table, lie, cheat and take more from people than you really should you will curse your business and you will ALWAYS reap what you have sown. When you do right by people good things happen. When you conduct business of any kind ethically and with integrity, it will be blessed. With all due respect, I would never do business with this shop again or recommend them to anyone. The owner responded 8 months later with information as an attempt to justify, mask over and make it appear as good reasoning for why his workers at the shop did what they did and said what they said. 8 months later that should tell you a lot right there. My original review was done early February 2024 but I updated it after my great experience with the other shop that's why it says 3 months ago but it's really been 8 months ago.

We were on the road, passing through Fort Worth and needed some help with the RAM truck we were driving. Found Rick and Ray’s online, it was convenient to where we were staying and they had lots of services. Very glad I wet, explained my circumstances, they were able to help same day and keep us on our travel schedule. They even handled the requested repair faster than promised (when does that happen) so I am very very please with the service I received and with the pleasant staff that assisted me. Very professional!!!

When Andrew said no to using my BNIB brake pads for my Jeep SRT, I asked for a price estimate on his labor and pads bought through them. He said no, bring it by and we'll talk price. I said have a nice a day.

I had an alternator and battery replaced in May of 2023 be was told I had a 3 year warranty. The car went dead and Triple A said although the battery was now bad, the alternator was the problem. I had it towed to R&R’s and they replaced them without me even having to come down. I picked up my car a few days later after hours and was grateful for accommodating me.

Rick and Rays had done repairs on husband’s truck it was very reasonable and fair. So we took my 2016 Lexus for brake repair. Front and rear brakes rotors and pads replaced. Initially said it would be 3000 but “he could do better” brought bill to $2653 when we asked what the labor fee was front desk said oh you have to ask Chuck. Why would this be a secret? Because it’s 200/hour. Should have gone to Lexus. My friend had the exact repair done at BAREBONES in Denton. Total charge $1100. We will be checking them out. Chuck if your reading this have mercy and refund the grift. Check your piggy bank on your desk. 🤬

The overall experience was great. Their intake app is one of the best I've ever seen. The staff is courteous and helpful. The service was done to well. When I had a minor issue, it was handled quickly and efficiently! I'd definitely recommend Rick & Ray's Auto Plaza.
