Lies. Lies. Lies. I was very impressed by the in take process but it went of the tracks from there. After weeks of lies finally was quoted over $100,000 to replace motor. That didn’t bother me as much as the constant mis information and being lied to. Ive never given a bad review before but im telling you to proceed with extreme caution if you wind up here. In response to your reply, sir . I can only assume you didn’t think it was possible for me to post the quote of $103,000. But I’m happy you did so everyone can see for their self, how easy it is for lies to flow out of your mouths at that shop.

Chuck was awesome! He kept me informed about the needed repairs on my C300 Mercedes and the diagnostic was free! I did the repairs he suggested and was honest with me about the repairs that needed to be done by the dealership only! Great shop!!

It is wild to me that there are so many positive reviews for this auto mechanic. Their pricing is horrendous and I have zero faith with their “assessments” of problems. I have a mid-2010’s sedan which I keep regularly maintained. I was having some uneven tire wear and came in asking if they could take a look at why that might be. They quoted me $8500 worth of repairs. More than the value of the car itself. They quoted me $413.22 to replace my battery. I am not joking. They proceeded to explain it was because of the blue corrosion around the positive leed. When I asked about why the cost was so high, they started to backtrack saying “oh well you could probably do that yourself, would take five minutes of scrubbing with a toothbrush”. So then why was the labor portion $243.63? They also tried to charge $1,886.36 to replace the two front control arms. I believe they mistook me for someone who doesn’t understand cars. I try to give off that impression to mechanics in order to find out how trustworthy they are. I can say, they absolutely pray upon your level of car knowledge. They were also argumentative when I asked for my car back to go have someone else change the tire. They were pleading for me to make the other repairs before I got my tire replaced. Then for the first time in years, they magically couldn’t start in the car and had to jump it. I went and bought a battery for $150 at Costco, and spent five minutes, swapping it out and scrubbing the lead. I have no evidence to back this up (and it seems based on other bad reviews they are going to argue with me on this) but my guess is that this place recently went to new ownership and now they are extorting their long-standing customers and probably blaming the costs on inflation. I believe this was at one point a great auto mechanic. If the owner disputes this review, I will happily post the quote.

EDIT: I have updated my one star review to a four star review. A few months after I posted my old review, Sergio from Rick and Rays called me. He told me that after some investigating, he learned his part supplier overcharged them for the alternator, leading them to overcharge me accordingly. Within a few months from that call, I received a check for the amount I was overcharged. I will say, this was a very unexpected turn of events! Sergio was very kind to me when we talked on the phone and in person, and it seemed like he wanted to reconcile what had happened. I updated the review from one star to four stars for this above and beyond service, however I will not give 5 stars due to the fact that I was still overcharged, and I believe this review is the only reason I was compensated. That being said, I think they did great work on the car and their customer service is top notch. The old review is included below: Very nice customer service, but the most predatory pricing I have ever been subjected to. I do not recommend getting your car towed here if it is broken down, they may take advantage of your situation like they did for me. I was charged over $2,300 for an alternator replacement on a Honda. Before you go here, please think about that price and see if it's worth it to you (in case you were wondering, no the alternator wasn't diamond encrusted). Please learn from my mistake and get your car towed somewhere else, they may be nice to you but their prices are not.

I was so displeased with the service the dealerships offer that it was time for me to look for other ways to service my car. If you value your vehicle like I do mine, you’re particular about upkeep. My research paid off because I found Rick & Rays. They did a great job on my GLS. My E350 as well. They do a full point inspection and detail everything they recommend, prices and all. They don’t surprise you with unexpected repairs. Andrew was my service tech and he knows what he’s talking about. I most certainly recommend Rick & Rays.

I went to the dealership first for my hybrid vehicle, but they gave me an inspection report that was too pricy. I went to Rick & Ray's and they inspected the car and found a reasonably priced hybrid battery for me. As a college student, I needed to find an effective fix for a good price and they provided that for me. They went out of their way to search for a refurbished battery that saved me thousands of dollars. Thankful for their work.

Excellent customer service, thorough explanation on work needed to be done and fair prices. I drive 40 minutes to take my car to R&R. I have total confidence that, as a woman, they do not take advantage of my lack of automobile knowledge or try to sell me things I do not need. I am an AAA member and they recognize my membership with a 10% discount. Winner winner chicken dinner!

I had a pleasant experience working with Andrew and the whole team. They provided an in-depth diagnosis of my initial concern, and provided advice that was fair and at my level. I appreciated that, while my vehicle had an identified issue, I wasn’t pressured into any work. Will definitely be returning when we need more work done.
