Mr Ricky's Auto is a verliable auto shop he is very polite and knowledgeable at what he does took my car in and he diagnosed it took it in the next day and within a couple of days my car was fixed and has been running great I would highly recommend him for your auto repairs he will keep you informed every step of the way .

Installed poor quality transmission, cuts corners, subpar workmanship. Shop looks like a junkyard and is overpriced. Transmission started making noise and hard shifting, everytime i called or went to the shop, the owner (Ricky) would just give me the runaround to not fix it until the warranty expired. I lost $600 dollars.

Owner comes off like a nice guy but is a deceptive scammer. Don't believe his positive reviews. They're all fake. Charged me $350 to diagnose and fix an electrical issue with my Corolla. He advised me the issue would go away after a week or 2 of driving the car. The problem still persists months later and he refused to refund me. There's a reason why he tells customers he prefers cash. So you can't reverse the charge on a credit card. Find a shop with better reviews. This man has a pattern of scamming people.

Had a problem with my lifters therefore my engine had to be replaced, took my car to Ricky's, super happy and satisfied with the service. My vehicle was there for less than a week... Rick is an honest and straightforward man, excellent job and great communication. Thanks again!

Do not use this place for transmission work, unless you can be without your vehicle for a year. Never has a correct estimated time for completion and just keeps extending the complete date. Anywhere would be better than this place.

The worst most unprofessional mechanic I've ever met. Extremely rude, paid thousands of dollars for a half fast job, at the end, my car was never fixed. Car still turned off while we both test drove it many times. I do not recommend this place, waste of time, money, and painful headaches!!!!! I WONT GIVE UP ON MY CAR, THIS IS A LEARNING EXPERIENCE TO ALWAYS DO UR RESEARCH.

DO NOT GO TO THIS MECHANIC!!!! He charged me $75 for diagnostic plus $85 to change spark plugs but only changed 4 spark plugs and when I got my car checked somewhere else it needed 8. He told me I needed 2 sensors changed but I didn’t. I paid him $170 and he solved NOTHING!!! I had to go somewhere else to solve my problem. Steer clear of this scammer!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR A BROKEN TAIL LIGHT!!! This guy is very unprofessional and conniving. My nephew had went to this repair shop to get his gaskets fixed being that Ricky was a friend of his parent. He had to come back in only a few months due to the same issue. He did not fix the the problem prior, yet he charged him $1200 to do it again. After weeks of calling and texting him, sometimes with no response to what"s happening with the car and when it would be ready, he finally responds saying there's another problem and it would require more labor and more money and that it would possibly put the car in drivable state. My nephew declined and had his car towed away from this place with $1200 down the drain and nothing accomplished. Initially, he did not do a diagnosis on the car to see the real issue. When he got to the shop to pay the remaining balance which he did not deserve, he stated his only payment method was cashapp or cash. He did not provide a proper receipt with the itemized labor/parts purchased or a break down of anything he did. Just a photocopy that was handwritten and a business card attached. At the moment, I knew he was trying to get over on my at the time, vulnerable nephew. Not to mention, me having to intervene several times because he was talking to him like a child when he was indeed an adult!! Im writing this review on behalf of my nephew because he is now deceased but I was determined to let customers and future customers know how this business is ran. Save yourself the run around and headache and don't go to this place.

This mechanic claimed to know about hybrid cars but he didn’t even know how many spark plugs my sister’s car has, only did half the work, and charged her $85. He also charged her $75 for a diagnosis but couldn’t accurately tell her what was wrong with the car. She had to spend more money going to another mechanic who diagnosed the car and told her that all she needed to do was reset the car’s computer. Do not go to him if you have a hybrid car.

Went to Ricky's after searching maps for a nearby mechanic, while reading the reviews I saw Ricky responding to his critical reviews with grace, logic and thoughtfulness and from that I decided to visit his shop. I called ahead of time to let him know of the issue, I had a squeaky metal on metal noise in my rear tires that I assumed were the breaks. He let me know what time I could come in and that he would have a diagnostic fee (makes sense paying for his professional time and expertise to diagnose the problem). Stopped by around 12:30 and in about 2 hours and a half hours later I was out. He had diagnosed the problem.and fixed it, he replaced the brake pads and rotors and the noise was gone! He was straight forward, priced fairly, and quick. Would highly recommend for a fair, straight forward and reliable mechanic. Thanks for the great service Ricky!

Brought my 2004 Sprinter for a busted radiator, Rick got the part and had it installed in less than 3 hours. Also had him change my glow plugs and did an oil change recently aswell. The guy does great honest work. Ive called around hes got the best price and best service. Ricks is a very personable and honest individual not the average mechanic, highly recommend him!

Had an alignment done at his old location. A week after I noticed my new tires had bad toe wear. He stated no guarentee with his alignment so I didn't bother going back to him. Wasted my money and left with a bad alignment

Horrible shop. This guy is not a man of his word. Filed a claim with my dealer to fix my car, and he kept making excuses not to fix it and delayed the work until my warranty expired and never did anything about it. Now I’m stuck with a welded bumper which he could have easily fixed. 0 stars if possible.

Called Ricky’s and told them about the issue I was having with my F150. Told me to come in and he’ll have a look. Turns out it was the Shifter Cable and he had to order the part for it. He talked me through what happened to the old cable and even showed by me! I drove my truck out of there the next day like new! Plus his customer service and communication is amazing!

Here’s my experience with Ricky’s. I bought a rebuilt transmission from Ricky because of the 36 month warranty even though I live 250 miles from his shop. I installed the transmission, took it for a drive and everything seemed fine until the next morning there was a puddle of transmission fluid under the car so I climbed under and saw the transmission was leaking from the end cover seam. I called Ricky to discuss and he said I need to bring the car down. I said fine and wanted an appointment being I have to drive 250 miles in my only car and needed it fixed within a two day period being I had to take off work and get a hotel. Ricky said he couldn’t do an appointment I just had to drop off the car and he would get to it when fell in with the other jobs. After back and forth about the need for a morning specially set aside at his discretion for my car to be fixed due to the distance he said “let me call you back”. He never did. I called him again a couple days later and he jabbered about “being a corporation” and I have to bring the car down and leave it and I couldn't wait at the shop for the repair. Apparently he had a difficult time grasping that I live 250 miles away. I have never in my life as a 30 year auto technician ever heard of a shop not being able to set an appointment or allowing a patron to wait while repairs are made. I said forget it, I’ll fix it myself but send me a gasket. I got the famous quote again, “I’ll call you back”. He never did. After removing the end cover I noticed there were two gaskets on the case. The new gasket was put over the old, broken gasket that’s why it was leaking. I looked at the gears and clutch pack that is under the end cover and saw the builder didn’t stake (peen to the shaft) the locknuts that hold the 3rd gear clutch pack, idler gear and main shaft gear which could have resulted in the transmission locking up and a catastrophic accident if either locknut came off while driving. I called again to explain it to him and said I will send pictures but he said it didn’t matter and again, “I’ll call you back”. He never did. I filed a dispute with the credit card company and he told them my claim of him not returning calls after saying he would was "total fabrication". I have phone records Ricky, where the call went out but none came back so not only do you do shoddy workmanship you're a liar. He also told the credit card company I was trying to get the transmission for free which is also a lie. If the credit card company permanently reversed the charge I would have gladly dropped it off in his driveway because in its current configuration the transmission is a ticking time bomb.. He also said to the credit card company that the photos I sent were of "a" transmission and showed no defect. Ricky, you actually think I keep transmissions laying around the house? It has YOUR Vin Tag. Also, look closer at the picture and you will see NONE of the locknuts are staked per factory procedure. I can see how you missed it being you don't even know what you are looking at. So after seeing the pure negligence on the builder’s part with not removing the old gasket and failing to stake the locknuts as required by the factory shop manual to keep them from coming off I decided the transmission is not safe to keep in the car because it would need a complete disassembly to verify there were no other problems. I will now have to disassemble the transmission and go through it to make sure it is properly assembled being I don’t trust the warranty work to be any better than the original. I will never use them again nor recommend them to anybody. Use at your own risk because what they failed to do in the rebuild could cause a catastrophe and there is NO excuse for the shoddy, negligent workmanship nor his BS about not setting an appointment for somebody who went far out of their way to give him business.

I spent 4,500 to have my engine replaced and it blew a week later. Ricky told me there were 3 rules.. 1. Don't race 2.) Monitor the oil 3.) If it starts to overheat, pull over My piston blew a week later, I am severely dissatisfied with the MATTRESS I bought and I WILL BE SENDING IT BACK!!! That's how we like ya!! Ask him what kind of helmet he has... oh man.. talk about the fact that guy tried to roast Shaun.. I'm sleepy, me too man..
