Amazing customer service and result! Bill and his team were excellent! They are very comfortable and confident with repairing cars of all types, including higher end makes/models. Bill explained the repair thoroughly and they were able to get it done in a quick time frame of <48 hours. I was quoted an insane amount from a different shop and double the time. I am so so glad I called River North Collision Repair and plan to make them my go-to for any future detailing, repairs, car washes etc. Highly recommend.

In and out experience, I dropped my vehicle off late Thursday for paint/ body repairs and picked up mid day Saturday. The customer service was beyond my expectations. I worked with Bill who explained in detail what would be done to my vehicle and also gave me an interior detail which was totally unexpected . Overall my experience was great and I would definitely return if ever needed .

My girlfriend and I used to live in wicker and this was our go to. We not live more on the west side and continue to come here because of how quick and easy it is to get our car detailed. For $44 they make your car feel brand new and clean and do a quick and great job

So my car had a minor accident the body needed to be repaired. The insurance gas given me names of bodyshop near where I live and that they work with to me. I told them I had a bodyshop I wanted to repair my car with in mind. ( I chose this bodyshop because of all 5 stars review on google) So I contacted River North Collision to drop off my car to repair) The process of dropping off went smooth with Ricardo. On the same day, I texted him if he can tell me how long it would take to get things done. He never answered that, but it’s ok he might be busy. However, 9 days later I called him again to see when my car would be ready. It was Thursday. He said it might be ready on Saturday if it’s not it will be for sure ready on Monday. So I told him that let aim for Monday so I can tell the insurance to extend my rental until Monday. On Monday I called him to see when I should pick up my car. He said they were so behind. It would be ready on Tuesday. So I asked if it’s going to be Tuesday for sure or just a maybe. He said it will be ready for sure and the same day my insurance called me asked if I was able to talk to the bodyshop because they couldn’t reach out to anyone. The insurance wanted to know when they should extend the rental until. So I told the insurance what Ricardo promised me it will be ready on Tuesday. On Tuesday I called him he didn’t pick so I texted him when I could pick up my car. The answer was 5:30 pm. But I had to work at 5 pm so I told him that I needed to pick up my car at 4 otherwise he had to contact the insurance to extend my rental until Wednesday because I wouldn’t be able to pick up my car at 5:30. He responded back said the car will be ready by 4. So I went pick up my car I was in rush as I had to go to work at 5 and traffic is really bad. He gave me my car key and a lifetime warranty thing that I didn’t even have time to look because I also had to return my rental before I went to work. So I took my key and drove the rental car to return and I decided to call Uber to work instead of picking up my car on that day. I texted to let him know that I was going to pick up my car on Wednesday. When I got there. I saw my car’s mudflap clip wasn’t put back on. After they fixed it. I drove my car back home. When I arrived home I grabbed the door handle on the passenger side to open the door and grab my stuff. (the passenger side was the side that they had to repair). Suddenly, the door handle fell off the door. I drove back to the shop and my husband went there before I got there. He explained the situation to them. So we had them fixed the door handle. After they finished. Luckily my husband thought that if the door handle didn’t work, the window might not work as well. And sure after he tried opening the window. It didn’t go all the way down. So we had them fix it again. This time I realized that they did not inspect my car at all so I started looking to the part that I know that they should have been fixed. No surprise! the bumper that should have been replaced wasn’t fixed. They just tried to hammer out a dent and it looks terrible. Was that enough bad experience I have had. Not yet! I found a part of my car was sitting on the passenger seat. I think it was car door trim or something. I sent my car to bodyshop because I wanted my car to get fix not to get worse and get half work. I am really disappointed that they did not inspect anything at all before he handed it to me. Ricardo said he is the only manager who on Tuesday that I went there didn’t even do a proper job. The car is obviously not ready to pick up. 1. He overpromised 2. He didn’t inspect my car at all before handling my car back. 3. He didn’t even finish work on my car and he told me that my car was ready. 4. He didn’t gave me the report on the first day that I went there. I think it because of he didn’t not replace the bumper for me even though the report said it needed to be remove/replace. My question is from his careless what if I got into an accident from that? Thanks Bill for helping us from this mess!

I dropped my car off early this morning as it needed new screws to keep the front bumper on and needed new liners for each of the front tires. Not only did this place manage to do all the repairs within an hour, but when I came back to pick my car up I noticed they had washed it AND cleaned interior at no extra cost. I almost started crying, it meant so much to me. My interior needed a good clean but I work a lot and haven't had time recently so when I saw they cleaned it for me it was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders because I knew it was once less thing I needed to do. Abel was so helpful throughout the whole process and was great with communication. So so thankful I found this place:)

River North did an amazing job fixing the bumper of my car that was cracked and damaged. They got me in quickly (the same day I called them), and finished within a week. They truly were amazing, efficient, and timely contacting and communicating with my insurance, me, and ensuring they get the right parts. They made sure there was no internal damage, and even washed my car at the end (no additional costs for me while filling up the air pressure in my tires. Other places told me that I’d have to book an appointment, and then they’d let me know about the whole process of fixing my bumper with my insurance. Eddie got me in right away, and was able to handle everything! Eddie and his team was great, I highly recommend!

Literally 10/10. Not only did they get my work done quickly but they went above and beyond! My car was squeaky clean when I picked it up. Tire pressure was filled up and they even buffed out a scuff mark for me. Cannot stress enough how happy I was with my experience. If anyone I know ever needs work done I’m recommending this place till my last breath! Most places feel like they’re trying to get as much money from you as possible, but this place felt very genuine and Ricardo was very responsive and informative. Again 10/10!!!

Let me start by saying Abel and Eddie have been great. Abel spent hours with me trying to get through to the insurance so they could get me a rental car. He was on the phone back and forth with the company. Eddie went out of his way to drop me off at Enterprise and pick me up when it was time to return my rental. I was hesitant (anxiety) in asking about my backlights since they were different from my original lights. I was worried they would be upset that I was unappreciative of the work they did, not a fan of confrontation. Eddie let me know they ordered the original lights and will be installed once arrived. I really do appreciate what they did for me, and hope the owner appreciates the workers he has :) If I ever need a repair on my truck, I will go back to them. *knocks on wood so I don't have another accident"

Came in to get a paint job and dent fixed on my back door. Other places told me my entire back door would have to be replaced but Abel and his staff were able to put in the time and fix my car the right way. This place is amazing, reasonable pricing, and friendly staff. I was even offered an uber ride home and back when my car was ready. I recommend river north collision to anyone in need of car repairs. They also offer high quality car washes. Amazing hard working staff that will work with you. Very happy with the results of my car and they cleaned it up inside and out. Looks brand new!

I was SO worried, about where to take Minerva. My Honda SUV needed major body work on both sides, after getting badly hit ...a couple months ago. Esp since we live in the loop now. Not NWBurbs. Finding good mechanics in general, is like looking for a needle in a haystack!! ( won't take my cars to anyone except, auto express in Schaumburg!!! May they live long and prosper!!) I say that, as the daughter of a mechanic, who grew up under a hood. And, in small planes. (thx Dad!) But they don't do body work. So. I had to hunt for a good place that: had pics of nice, consistent, body work. Across luxury car types. Without costing a small fortune. And available appointments, sometime this century, lol lol... well. You might as well, say; when pigs fly. But. Wow!... THIS SHOP... managed to make our Family SUV look just as good as the day we bought her, drove her off the lot. I was so impressed. Now, I will only use them for things Auto Express cannot do. Caveat: I did NOT sign up for car wash. We were raised to do that ourselves, lol. That's a totally separate thing! (Separate service I didn't use/ won't really) ...but... I will not consider body work anywhere else! River North Collision Repair totally raised the bar. 10 stars, out of 5 stars! Way to go y'all... Willow N

The owner of this business, Mike, responded to my inquiry within the hour. I was able to drop off my car for door repair the NEXT day! The man who runs the River North location, Abel, was incredibly kind and knowledgable when I dropped off the car and he kept me updated throughout the repair process. In total it took ONE week-- the Jeep dealership told me they'd have my car for three weeks... On top of that, they cleaned the inside of my car-- it smelled brand new. Abel, you and your mechanics and technicians are AMAZING. Thank you so much for fixing my car, I'm so happy with the results.

I chose this shop when I got hit and run entirely based on the reviews, but even then I didn't know what to expect. I'm happy to report they are truly amazing! From the first time I called them and spoke with Mike, they handled everything for me. Mike arranged to pick up my car from the tow yard and dealt with my insurance so I didn't have to make any more phone calls. They even detailed the car and dropped it off at my house! The entire repair took less than 3 weeks, which was way faster than I expected, and throughout those weeks Abel updated me regularly on the status of the repairs. I would recommend this shop to anyone in the city.

Dario and the team were incredible. From the moment I needed a repair (pretty serious dent on my side and broken mirror), he was prompt with his responses and made the entire process a smooth and convenient one. He answered my texts quickly, sent photos with updates and was a hero and even searched my car for my wallet when I couldn’t find it at home. After the repairs were done, we easily planned for a time and dropped it off to my location, complete with a complete clean of the inside and a car wash! Will be keeping River North Collision Repair in my back pocket and Dario’s number is saved in my phone if I need any other work done.

The team at River North Collision are truly amazing. Took my 1955 Chevy 210 2 dr post after it got hit in a Costco parking lot. Everyone went out of their way to make sure all the bodywork and quality is way above being perfect. Everyone from the owner to the body men go out of their way to make sure the work is more than perfect.I would advise any of my friends other owners to take their classic there for above average and quality work in great time. Truely deserve the 5 stars..!! Abel and his team were really great at handling and dealing with progressive which alot of other places even refused to accept in Chicago. He barely involved me and took care most part of it. End result, I am happy with the body work, the car looks brand inside out. They did great job at cleaning the car which shows these people will go way above and beyond to retain and keep customers happy. I will definitely visit again for cleaning in few months when my car is filled with dog hairs.

We are brand new to Chicago. When our car was keyed, we did not know where to turn for repairs. I only found River North Collision online because we live in River North. I filled out the chat box on the website, and within minutes, Mike, the owner, called me to discuss our needs. That immediate phone call, and his extremely professional conversation with me, won my trust instantly. I decided to not even seek another quote. Mike won my business on that call. Essentially, his professional manner had me at Hello. And I was not disappointed. Because I'm fresh out of major surgery (why we moved to Chicago), I cannot drive for three months. Mike said, "No problem, we will come to your apartment building, pick up the car, take it to our shop, repair it, wash it, and return it to you." Are you kidding me? Where do you find service like that anymore. They returned our car yesterday and the repair work is perfect, beyond my expectation, not to mention being beautifully cleaned. Any collision type repairs we need this year we will be in Chicago, we're not going anywhere else. Thank you, Mike and team, for such professional work and exceptional customer service.
