State car inspection Friendly and quick After visiting 4 places for the day and 7 total shops over the past few months, I finally found a place to do the most basic service. All the other places were either overbooked or made some excuse about their machine being down. I'm thankful I found this place and would come again.

Oh my goodness. This crew is amazing! Vincent is the perfect person to be greeted by, so friendly and if it’s bad news about your vehicle he tells you straight up and provides comfort in leaving your vehicle with this shop. Kyle hessom has worked on my vehicle many times for minor issues and does great work at making sure that i am leaving the shop stress free! Highly recommend this group of guys! Almost feels like family.

I called in two weeks ago for a quote on repair of a thermostat for my 2016 fiat 500x. I was given a base quota just over five hundred dollars. I took my car in yesterday for the repairs. The quote went up to a little over six hundred dollars for parts that MAY break. They called me back later that afternoon. To tell me to come in and look at the car because something broke. I go and look at the car. They broke the hose housing to the radiator. a housing that is solid plastic about 3/16 inch thick. They said it was leaking. There was no leaking before I brought the car in! I told him to go ahead and fix it. Then he claims that there may be something else that might break. that had to do with electrical? 🤨 so they call me back the 2day day and gave me a quote of $1800 to fix my car😬🥺🤬. I said that wasn't acceptable. He got mad and said he's not gonna go through this and told me that he was gonna put my car back together and tow it to my house w/o repairing the damage they caused. broken🤬🤬 AND HUNG UP IN MY FACE! I called back to tell him where to have my car towed (because the address on the quote is a billing address, not physical) He refused to anawer. So i left a message. the car was running fine before I took it in. Now I have no car. what I'm going to do is I'm gonna Sue them for the cost of repairing the radiator. Not the thermostat and for my downtime from work. Because I used the car for Rideshare. I can't make money without it. Plus, any other incidental costs that I incur because of their incompetence. DO NOT ENTERTAIN USING THESE GUYS TO EVEN TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE!!!

A lot of people go here for their quality work done. I've only been there couple of times since I moved to Houston, but the quality service I received was fantastic! The price is a little more than I expected, but the quality of their service definitely covers that. You can always trust their work and I highly recommend them for quality job done on your vehicle!!

The team at this place was absolutely fantastic. Extremely genuine, caring and honest. This will be the only place I take my car to moving forward. They don’t treat you as a customer, they treat you like family and not out to nickel and dime you.

Gave me a quote via email. After dropping the car off, I was told there were too many issues (unrelated to quote) and that if I wanted work done there, I'd have to pay for everything they wanted to fix.

Left my truck for 2 days. Paid 173.00. Said “ couldnt find the issue”. As i left the driveway, the EXACT same issue. Not sure they even drove my vehicle bc its impossible to have missed the transmission issue. Impossible! It happens EVERY day. Every time. Be careful!!

DO NOT DO BUsiness with these people. They are not to be trusted. They damaged the car alarm system, then tacitly said "There are no implied or written warranties for their work" and said we need to go elsewhere to get the problem fixed that THEY CAUSED! So, if they damage your car, you're clearly on your own. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Highly recommend!!! They have a drop box where you can drop your car off at 5pm which is very convenient. I dropped my car off and they had it ready the very next day. They even went above and beyond and fixed my broken car key, which I was extremely thankful for. OH, AND THEY ACCEPT CARSHIELD! Update: I took my vehicle back because I had a check engine light on and, again, they fixed it the very same day and had it ready, THE SAME DAY!!! (Catalytic converter)

I’ve been calling around to get a estimate to change all my motor mounts and 1 transmission mount based on the recommendation from the Toyota Dealership. I call several auto shops in the area, none of them would to give me estimate without seeing the vehicle. River Oak Automotive was the only company that took the time to give me a estimate over the phone even went the extra mile to verify my vehicle engine size by getting my license plate. (Grant I’m aware estimates can shift when vehicle goes through diagnostic and/or other issues are seen at the time vehicle is at the shop) First impression are everything!!!! Thank you for taking the time to give me estimate. Once I get my vehicle back from the dealership, I will be getting my service completed at this location.

I am a co-signer on a 2008 Mercedes S Class 550; the primary owner brought the vehicle to River Oaks for repair (10/02/22)-and spent over $7,000 to address some of the problems. All monies were paid, and the car was to be ready on 11/18/22. However, it was delayed until 11/23/22, the day before Thanksgiving. After nearly two months in the shop, the car was still not ready even though they let him drive it off the lot with the premise, "It's fixed." The car drove precisely the same as it went in almost two months ago. When he brought the car back, he was told the person who resets certain things with the car had left and wouldn't be back until Monday - ARE YOU SERIOUS? When he asked about a loaner to be able to keep family obligations for Thanksgiving, he was told, "We don't do that sort of thing." No accountability for their delay, no responsibility for their lack of attention to this costly repair, and no compassion for the impact their poor performance cost the customer. I can not imagine a more insensitive, low-level customer service than this, so be very careful with these folks. They do not seem to hold much honesty, reliance, integrity, or concern for their work. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
