I just call right now and the manager refused to help me with an estimate he avoid the job all the time , he even speculate about my accent 🙄 saying I don't understand his questions. We'll that's fine I speak one language and a half because I'm not British to speak a good English

5 STARS. 6 if I could. I cannot give this place enough praise. Long story but here goes: While driving back from Northern Utah, I felt my front brakes suddenly give out. This was accompanied by a horrid metal-on-metal sound. First thought was "crap are my brake pads really bad?" I was able to exit the freeway at St. George Blvd. and limp the car to Riverside auto, my kids asking nervous questions the whole time. I met Brandon at Riverside and told him I it was probably the front brakes and so new pads and rotors were needed. He asked if I could leave it for the afternoon and I had to respond I could not, as I was trying to get back down to California with my kids. hated to be so insistent, and I hope I didn't come off like a jerk. But he took the car anyway and told me it would be about an hour. Brandon came back 10 minutes later and grabbed me. It wasn't the brakes at all. MY PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL BEARING HAD FAILED. It was a miracle we didn't wreck on I-15. More amazing though, Riverside had the part and 90 minutes later we were back on the road. That friends, is a miracle in the automotive world. Brandon and all of Riverside Automotive deserve nothing less than my utmost respect. They bumped a couple of other customers to get me in and serviced. I HATE that I might have inconvenienced someone else, but I am so grateful that my kids and I were helped in such a fast and professional manner. If I ever have car problems along I-15 in southern Utah again, I know exactly where I am going first.

Not fair pricing. Other shops have told me how lazy they are and refuse to do/say they cant do jobs that they don't feel like doing. Rude and unprofessional.

2024 July 3rd! My wife and I had taken the kids from Parowan to St. George to the Grand Juction train park. On our way home, our 2015 Sienna broke down in the 115-degree weather. Riverside Automotive was the closest for the tow truck. We had to rent a nearby hotel room for the family. The manager explained that he was backed up due to the upcoming holiday and that he would not be able to look at it for a few days. I explained to him the circumstances we were in, and he quoted and squeezed us in that day. The vehicle was finished early the next morning on the 4th of July. Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!

Once I learned that Riverside Automotive Repair was a preferred provider through Costco and as a result, I could get a 15% discount on my repairs, I decided to give them a try. I figured Costco had vetted them and determined they were a great shop with fair prices and quality workmanship. I decided to take my truck in for some significant overdue maintenance. They gave me a hierarchy of things that needed to be done. I reviewed their list and compared it with a list I had previously obtained from a competitor. Both lists were essentially the same. I decided to get it all done at once as I wanted my truck to perform as it was meant to perform and as soon as possible. They completed the work and my truck runs like a top. In addition, to not having to worry about the needed repairs anymore, I enjoyed a 15% discount. Both Brandon and Brock are wonderful to work with and my experience in interacting with both of them told me they are honest men charging fair prices for quality workmanship. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone, including family members. Everyone should benefit from great service and a great discount.

Our families Sienna got sick for the second time while in St. George. The water pump started to make noise and leak water. The manufacturer suggests dropping the whole engine to repair it. They did it without having to do that extremely costly step. This time, it was the day before New Years 2024. Dropped it off in the morning, and Brandon rearranged his schedule and accommodated us at the last minute. Very informative. Very honest. Highly experienced. They had our Sienna fixed the same day.

I was just in the middle of a long drive across the state to get to Thanksgiving at my sister's house when I started having a problem with my vehicle. I stopped into the shop for help. They were quick and friendly. Found the problem, repaired it, and got me back on the road for my Thanksgiving holiday. So grateful I found the right place!

Our car started having issues right before we were supposed to travel back to Arizona. I called Brock and explained that we didn’t feel comfortable traveling with the noise that was happening on such a long trip and was hoping they might be able to squeeze us in just to see if it was something that would be dangerous to travel with or not. They squeezed us in and resolved the issue quickly! Brock was phenomenal and we are so grateful to him! we wish that these guys had a shop in Arizona where we lived! if they did, they would be my new go to Mechanic and we would take all of our vehicles there!

Me and my 2008 Subaru had a great experience here. I brought it in for a few different problems and all are fixed. They communicated well asking about services before completing them, gave me a quote over the phone and that was what I paid when it was done. Just finished a >2000 mile road trip with no problems it ran so well. I’d recommend riverside and will be going back to them while in St George.

They did a great job fixing the ac, power steering and gas issue I had with my 2019 Chevy Cruze. In fact, they actually solved issues that other mechanics didn’t figure out, which saved me a lot of money by not needing to replace some really expensive parts. I will come back here again when I need work done on my car. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic experience with this repair shop. I was on a road trip and my vehicle experienced a problem at the gas station next door. The guys at the shop stopped what they were doing and took the time to come look at my vehicle. They gave me a clear and honest diagnosis along with expected wait time and cost. They squeezed us in even though they clearly had a high volume of vehicles at their shop. They were extremely efficient and had us back on the road in a couple of hours. They turned what could have been a trip ending problem into a minor hiccup. I definitely recommend taking your vehicle here.

My car broke down as I was traveling. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was back on the road as soon as possible. They didn’t try to over charge at all and made me feel safe and assured my car was in good hands. Good, honest, fair auto shop!

The guys at Riverside went above and beyond. We live out of town and our kid's car broke down Friday night outside St. George. So we towed it to a 5 star rated mechanic open on Saturday- Riverside. The team understood the dilemma and despite numerous obstacles and a short work day, they stayed late to ensure the car was fixed and they could be on their way. AC went out on my vehicle. These guys got me right in and replaced the condenser in less than 24 hours! In addition, the out-the-door price was exactly what was quoted at the beginning. They charged half what the dealer wanted for the same service. No surprises, no sketchy behavior, and no upselling me on other services. What else can you ask for? I will go back to this place for sure in the future.

Absolutely recommend. I had a loose engine shield for my rental car and was super concerned that I wouldn't be able to make it to Las Vegas to exchange the vehicle. The repair shop took a look and boom! They took it off (bc it was already broken) in 3 minutes. Told me it was safe to drive back to Vegas and helped me to figure out what the problem was so I could tell the rental car company. I was very happy with them and would recommend them for anyone!

These guys are amazing and awesome. Highly Recommend. We were on our way to Las Vegas for a funeral over Memorial Day weekend and hit a large pothole that popped a tire on Sunday. Only place open to fix a tire was Walmart, but there was damage to the rear shock and mount which made the drive very slow, shaky, loud, and uncomfortable. There was no one open to fix this. We stopped at family's house in St George till we could get this fixed and called numerous businesses on Tuesday when everything was open. Most of the shops said it would be at least till Wednesday and possibly Thursday to get fixed and the funeral was on Wednesday morning so I started thinking I would have to get a rental. Called Riverside and they said they could look at it and asked what was going on. They were very friendly and helpful and was able to call a few people and get us worked in and had us fixed at a fair price on Tuesday. They went above and beyond to help us out in a bad situation and had us up and going in a couple of hours. The workers were great. Highly, highly recommend Riverside Auto

I've had RAR repair a condenser coil leak in my GMC AC before, and it worked great for 5 yrs and never had a problem with that repair. This time, I needed a complete compressor replacement (ugh!). RAR replaced it quickly and efficiently. It works great now and is nationally warranted (if I was on travel) for two years. Jeff and the guys do a great and are very conscientious. Give them a try.

These guys saved our bacon! We were in St. George for a weekend trip, and our car started overheating very quickly. We were leaving the next morning so needed help fast. Brandon and crew were honest and even put us ahead of other work they already had to help with our time crunch. They identified that the thermostat in the car (which I had replaced a month prior by another shop) was stuck closed. They showed me that the previous shop had used a cheap after market product and got me an oem part right away. Super grateful to riverside for helping us get home safely.

Update: after posting my review at a three star, I moved them to five star because they called me back and said they would fix it minus the part difference. I chose them based off how many five stars reviews, and was disappointed after due to the continual sound after repair. Now I understand why they are 5 Star Place. I will make another update if there any problems after they do it again. Took my F150 here for exhaust leak that the Ford 2015 was known for. They found other things that needed to be fixed. After fixing it all the exhaust still makes all kinds of chirping noises. They just said oh well.
