Had a great experience with this shop. Most importantly, I was very comfortable thanks to Bobbie for her ease of explaining everything, with no pressure, step by step. This shop provided videos of damaged parts before you agree to service and getting it done with professionalism. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable lowering the stress of dealing with car issues.

I took my Audi Q7 TDI into the shop because of a fuel issue they told me that it was going to cause me approximately $3,000 because the fuel pump and a computer that controls the fuel was bad they say it they said that the fuel pump and computer was approximately $1,000 and the labor would be $2,000 I could not believe that replacing the fuel pump and the computer labor would be so expensive they charged me almost$400 for diagnostics.so I went and got my vehicle and took it to another shop the shop that I took it to only charged me $520 and told me that the only problem was a bad ground they did not have to replace any parts. So my advice to you all is to go and get you a second opinion before you give them to go ahead to work on your car. Signed unsatisfied customer

My last experience here was so disappointing. Things have changed at this business, I'm sad to say. I took my car in for a maintenance oil change & check-up only, but asked if they could look just at my windshield sprayer, as the tubes have loosened/disconnected a few times, and have always been an easy fix. The sprayer motor WAS working, water WAS coming out of the sprayer holes, just not spraying up onto the windshield. Went to pick up the car with oil change done, but was told that I would need to replace the windshield sprayer motor, because it wasn't working at all. This was Not true. They also "topped off" the wiper fluid with their blue version in the reservoir, but by the time I drove home, the reservoir was empty. The reservoir had water in it, and was almost full when I dropped the car off, has always held water, never leaked. While there, I declined to have the motor replaced and explained that all was working when I brought the car in; I only asked that they check the tubes to reconnect. I was told I could speak to a manager, but then turned out they were busy. So I left. I called back a day later, spoke to a gentleman that listened to the situation, then basically told me that sometimes things break when they check them. He told me it was like changing a lightbulb, "sometimes the jiggling breaks the bulb." That's fine and I could understand - but I also believe that if a customer takes their car there in better condition than it is when picked up, that's a pretty significant problem. And no offer to rectify anything??? Also noted: after I looked more closely, the passenger side headlight cover had been changed out for some reason. It's a completely different, much older, yellowed and foggy, headlight/plastic cover that doesn't work as well, so the headlights shine at very different light levels. Also noted: the entire compartment in front of the front passenger-side wheel has been opened and put back together - sloppily. There is now a plastic portion hanging out of the wheel well. And guess what is right above that wheel well, behind that headlight? You got it - the windshield wiper sprayer motor... which has NOT worked since I picked up my car from RMS. It's as if it's been disconnected. No water movement on the windshield, no motor running, at all. And, let's not forget to mention that the reservoir now won't hold any water or fluid either. I can't believe this is their low bar for service? I want all of these things repaired, replaced or FIXED!!! I at least expect to get my car back in the same condition as it was when I left it there. If I'm being targeted to recoup expenses from a previous re-fix on RMS's dime, that's not right either. I'm only a customer taking my auto in for repair, in good faith. Not my fault if some things need re-addressing. Bad business, RMS. Very disappointed that this is the kind of service being provided now. No thank you.

I have been bringing my car to RMS Auto for the past two years. The service is outstanding regardless of which advisor and technician handles the job. Most notably recently when my car interior got soaked, Whitney and Azim were transparent on my options but did everything possible to avoid the worst case scenario. Pricing is fair and they offer rides through Lyft when you need to leave the vehicle with them. I also appreciate that the reports get sent via email for my records and are promptly followed up with a call and text. I recommend their business to anyone in the area.

I have been taking my vehicle to RMS for regular and detailed maintenance since I moved in the area for the past 5 years. They are always thorough and explain everything in detail. All of the staff is very knowledgeable friendly and courteous and since I only work a few miles away, they always offer a Lyft to take me or pick me up. Highly recommend, you will see what I'm talking about!

2019 Subaru Crosstrek We took our daughter’s car for oil change and tire rotation. Ended up getting recommended suspension work done as well after they did a 4-point inspection. The next day, car got a flat due to a nail so we took it for a tire patch + replaced 3 broken lug nuts for free which is a known issue with Subaru. What stands out for this shop are great customer service and providing a detailed explanation with photos of the problem. They listened to our concern and even offered pickup/drop off. They also apologized and took responsibility of their mistake which is rare to find these days. We will come back for future repairs and maintenance. We were looking for a good auto shop and found it. ‘Highly recommended in the Houston area!

Had a fantastic experience getting work done on my 2007 Lincoln. The service advisor clearly communicated what work my car needed and did not pressure me in the slightest to have it done. They will even get you a ride back to your place in case the work will take more than a couple hours. I will definitely be back.

My best mechanic experience EVER!!!!! Very friendly and customer service oriented. I thought maybe there was something wrong with my breaks and was told my rear tires needed to be replaced. For the first time in my life they checked out both and the were still working fine. I feel like I've been taken advantage of by other mechanics in the past and was blown away by their honesty. The prices were reasonable and they provided transportation from the shop and back when my car was ready. They have gained a long term customer with me. Thank you!!!!

I have always had great experiences with mechanics but RMS blows all of that out of the water. Their customer service is just on another level. They seem to have a really good workflow / process set up and it's clear that they invest in their people and technologies / operations. They've got a customer for life in me - as well as someone who is so impressed by the way they run their business that she kinda wants to work there.

We have used RMS on Westheimer and the Body Shop on Yale for many years living in Midtown in Houston. We had confidence in having a "relationship "with the owner and all of the service persons we met. We moved 3 yrs ago to Humble. Sure, we use a dealer locally for our Hondas for maintenance but cannot use anyone but RMS Body Shop and drive to Houston for the service. However, if I need a 2nd opinion on maintenance or repair, I surely consult "Ford" - one of the current owners and son of the original. I am excited to see this family owned and respected small business continue to succeed and grow with a 2nd generation of family owners. I always feel I am getting respect and the best work for a fair price on my cars. Steven and Crista Glover

first time visiting RMS and must say how impressed I was with the customer service and ease with communication. Whitney was my Customer Service Advisor and was extremely pleasant and kept me informed throughout the day. The follow-up from the vehicle inspection report was informative and easy to follow-up. They have definitely earned my future business and would highly recommend them to you.

Becarful I took my 2017 ford explorer as it wasn't starting. I was quoted 2400 for a fuel pump replacement and 500 for a fuel pump drive module ( I was told the module needed to be programmed to the car specs). I was also told this module was in the front by the bumper. I declined the work as I felt this was a bit steep. They failed to tell me my vehicle had two fuel pumps until I inquired while paying $180 for the advanced diagnostic test. So they said it could be cheaper if one worked. I checked out at about 4pm and called the tow truck to get the vehicle towed back home. I went to eat something my vehicle was still there so I decided to install the module which is on the right back pillar. I took the pillar off in two minutes and unbolted the two bolts . I took the connector off replaced it with new one. I rebolted and popped the pillar back on. It took me maybe 10 mins at max. My explorer started I drove it around the block with no hesitation. I called the tow person back and canceled the $300 tow. They did notify me I have a cracked manifold. I'm definitely getting a second opinion on the price of the manifold. They did have pics and video of the crack . I saved my self 2830 dollars buying the $66 dollar part and taking 10 minutes of my time to pop the new one in!!! A mistake like this is definitely not ok! I'd provide pictures of the part/ replacement install but this review does not allow pictures.
