Caveat emptor. Local manager does not honor written return/exchange policies posted on the RNR Tires website. This local franchisee is primarily a loan shark masquerading as a tire retailer, and I was the only customer in the shop not buying expensive tires on their in-house financing scheme (more on that later). I stopped into RNR Tires on E Platte in the Springs after blowing out a tire on my AWD vehicle only because it was the closest tire shop to where I was driving at the time. After having my vehicle briefly assessed, I was informed that I could have my tire replaced for $151.08 including installation costs. Prior to allowing the staff to run my credit card, I researched RNR Tires return policy on my smarpthone from their waiting room, where I learned that RNR Tires allows returns for up to 30 days on items with original packaging. i also confirmed with the technicians that the new tire tread was within 2/32 an inch of my existing tires - a must for AWD vehicles - and was assured there was only 1/32 an inch of difference before running my credit card. A few minutes later, the technicians informed me they could not install the tire because the object i had run over had also punctured my wheel rim. RNR does not sell many standard wheel rims, nor do most other tire retailers, but when i mentioned that the tire was never installed, nor had it ever even touched the pavement, I was informed "it's your tire now, that's your problem, not ours". The next day I had the entire wheel replaced at a local car dealership, which was the only place in Colo Spgs that had the necessary parts in stock. i later returned to RNR tires to try to convince the staff to refund the cost of the brand new, unused tire I was sold the day before that was never installed and still has all the original stickers on its tread. I was met with repeated refusals to honor the policy written on the RNR Tires website, stating that as a franchisee they were not bound to honor such policy. The manager then pointed to a policy against issuing refunds posted on a wall more than 20 feet behind the employees-only counter that was completely illegible from where customers stand when they pay for parts and services. I am now left with a brand new tire that still has the original stickers and tags on it, which was never installed fully and has never touched the pavement. Throughout the time I was there, several customers came in and out, all of whom were buying expensive tires, priced above standard retail value, using the local franchisee's in-house financing scheme. If you are looking to drive off the lot with flashy, thousand-dollar tires, but can only afford a a $20 down payment, and are willing to pay exoribitant interest rates for the privilege, then this may be the place for you. If you are in the market for reliable tires and can afford to pay a couple hundred dollars without relying on a shady, in-house financing scheme, then by all means go anywhere else. This local franchisee uses the name of what is a reliable retailer in other states to run a business that refuses to comply with RNR Tires corporate policies that are clearly written on the RNR Tires corporate site. This franchisee appears to be more in the business of loan sharking and ripping off the extreme poor than in providing reliable tires, or reputable service, to members of the community who are in the market for a safe and reliable product. Yes, they will sell you expensive bling for next to no money down, and loan shark-territory interest rates, but if you are a serioius buyer who wants reliable tires and halfway decent customer service, there are many, many better options in the area.

I had the best experience at R&R tires on Platte, if I could give them more stars I would. The general manager took super good care of me, the associates that I worked with were super pleasant, super knowledgeable, and very friendly as well. I had two flat tires on the back of my car and had to get it towed… It got towed at around 515 and they closed at 6 PM. I thought I was going to have to take an Uber home and come back in the morning. Without any hesitation, the manager offered to stay a few minutes late so they could get tires on my car and get me back on the road this evening. I think I left about 645… Everything was fantastic. They did a great job. The tires are amazing and the customer service is incredible. It was such a breeze to get a full set of tires put on my car. I’m so glad I tried them out.

This place is a gyp joint. The sales staff tell lies. They must be on commission. They sell on credit and then resell repossessed tires and rims from customers who miss payments. Run don't walk away from these crooks. They sell foreign imported tires and not US made tires. They try and resell tires with plugs in holes.
