I went in for shocks and $3400 later, I left with the undercarriage frame in pieces, 2 bald tires, and an odometer that had gone backwards. We go to mechanics who value safety, not that try to break our car just because they are very close to a chop shop.

Wonderful service , excellent job on all my cars throughout the years. Been taking my cars to them since the early 1980’s. They are honest and don’t try to push me to do things all at once.

Every time I visit Robert's Auto Service I am confident the service will be performed as promised, recently by Joel and Chuy. Also the service reps James and Christian are very knowledgeable and helpful. They also provide a pick up service by Brayden (sp?) who is a safe driver with a nice personality. Thanks to all!

Recommended here by a friend. Twice they tried to charge more than what they said. They doubled the diagnostic fee from what they said. They also said that there would not be a diagnostic fee if I had the repair done with them, which I did, but they charged it anyways. My friend says that they always drop the diagnostic fee for him when they do the repair; regardless, we asked and were told that they do so but they didn't They did not call with an update when they said they would. I called and was told that the part did not come in that day and that it would be done the next day. About 2 hours later it was done. Obviously the car was being worked on at the time I was told the part had not come in and the person I was speaking with did not know that or did not bother to check --> confusion. While it was nice that it was done, that was not helpful since I had made plans for the rest of the day because of the earlier statement that the part had not come in with their day's delivery, so I could not get it until the next day anyways I don't plan to come back here. And I don't plan to ask this friend for car repair guidance again

Robert’s is by far the best mechanic. They are honest, quick, super friendly AND affordable! I’ve gotten 2 of my cars fixed there and absolutely loved the service! Won’t go to anyone else! A++++

GREAT SERVICE, AS ALWAYS! This is my third time here, and it has been five stars for every visit. This visit I was doing my summer maintenance oil change, tire rotation, and 40 point inspection. I was told my shocks were leaking just a little bit, but if I did not have the money at this time, it was not an urgent matter. Any other place would have told me I need them right away, just to get more money. This is what I love about this place, they have told me parts and services I didn’t need, that I thought I did, in the past. It just shows how wonderful they are as a family ran business.

Robert's has been taking care of my cars for about thirty years. It always seems as if I'm going in to see family. The consideration and friendly treatment and superior service is something you just don''t expect to receive in this era of big business. I don't know what I'd do without them.

Roberts has been keeping all four of our family cars in excellent condition for over 15 years. Their mechanics are experts, they have fair pricing and are trustworthy. I especially appreciate their ability to provide accurate diagnostics. Everyone who works there is super friendly and easy to talk to. They are great at explaining concerns in layman’s terms when discussing repair options. I highly recommend Roberts Automotive.

Amazing service. They definitely do a great job. We’ve been going there for about 3 years now and they never disappoint. You get more than a bargain. Price is reasonable. But most of all we have never left there disappointed and that’s worth every penny. We live about an hour and a half away in Julian and if we can we will bring our cars all the way to Robert’s. So that’s saying a lot.

Have had my vehicle serviced by the guys at Robert's Auto shop for several years now, and they never disappoint. Because of them, my nearly 20 y.o. SUV conts to get the same mileage/per gallon as when I bought it new! James is always patient to explain and answer any questions I have. You guys are the best!

On my trip this weekend my car started making a loud screeching noise. I called the shop first thing in the morning and was able to get my car in for same day! Thankfully my car is fine but knowing how much time they put into making sure my car was safe was the best thing!

Had an oil leak on Toyota Tundra after changing oil myself. Apparently, the dealer in Texas who changed the oil before me had cross-threaded the plastic oil filter cover. It was extremely difficult to remove, and seems to have cracked in the process of removal/replacement. Took the vehicle to Robert's as I did not want to redo the job myself and get oil on my driveway. They replaced the cover (and filter) and cleaned up the mess. Aside from the usual sticker shock for labor and marked-up already overpriced dealer part, there was something I asked for but did not receive. I wanted full documentation of the issue with the cover, so that I could bring it up with the dealer. Had this happened, I might have been able to recoup some of the cost of putting it back the way it should be. Edit: I was later able to get reimbursed by the dealer for most of the cost,, with the exception of 2 quarts of oil I had provided to Robert's Auto.
