I paid this man close to 5k!!! In the beginning the work was good. No issues. The last time I took it to him he broke 2 different parts and messed up the axel that I took it in for. When I took it back for him to fix it less than 12 hours later. He refused to take responsibility saying it wasn't his fault. Currently I'm at a different auto shop so they can fix what he did. I filled my papers to sue today. Don't waste your money. He's cheap for a reason!!!

I wish I could give more stars. I was in the side of the road with a broken ball joint. These guys worked their butts off in 18 degree weather to get me back in the road. In almost no time at all. These are definitely my mechanics from now on. They also do fabrications so I'm looking forward to bringing my bike in next riding season. Friendly staff and incredibly fair prices too! Couldn't be happier with the work that was done!

These people answered a prayer. We were traveling and discovered a problem early in the evening. When all the big name shops had excuses for why they couldn't help, when it looked like we were going to have to grab a Hotel Room and pay for both that and the VRBO we'd booked in the mountains, the kind folks at Higgy's stepped up. They dropped everything else they were doing to get us back on the road. Higgy's is the reason we support local businesses. I only wish we lived in Colorado Springs, so I could send all of our cars there on a regular basis.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I am unbelievably grateful for this place and JJ - the mechanic that has worked on multiple cars of mine. I can't say enough good things about him & about this business because its only car service company I know that I can trust to work on my vehicle and nothing comes back wrong, everything be fixed, and all the problems figured out that the lowest cost possible. JJ is beyond knowledgeable & he never gives up. If something doesn't work, he will keep trying different options until the problem is fixed! The location was great too. There is always something to do while I wait since it's right in the downtown area. No doubt I'll be bringing all of my vehicles to him to work on & I recommend him to everybody! He's only worst worth putting your trust into and helpful for all mechanics that run into an issue that they just can't figure out. All the way to the person that is vehicle illiterate like myself ☺️

I would not recommend Higgy’s Auto to anyone. I needed the flex wheel replaced in my Ford Escape, and in order to do that they had to take apart the transmission. Their rate to do this was incredible, and understandably it was going to take them a few days to a week to replace the part. It took them 13 days to replace it. They had my car for 13 days stating it was “much more work than they had and anticipated” and “my car was kicking the mechanics butt” This was all making me very nervous that they bit off more than they could chew, and I picked my car up from them 2 days before going on vacation. Because it took them so long, I had to rush to get my windshield replaced my another business directly after. We had every intention of exchanging my vehicle for a new one. When we went to get my car appraised at a dealership the day after picking my car up from Higgy’s we found out their was a LEAK IN MY ENGINE, caused by them and there was fluid covering our driveway. I’m incredibly disappointed and don’t even trust them to fix the problems they caused. I do not recommend, the great rates are not worth it.

Needed my brakes on my car fixed asap around 6pm, which understandably no other mechanic shops in town were able to get it done right away, but after calling up Higgy’s auto, he wasn’t able to get my brakes done the same night if he had to go find all the parts himself but he told me that if I went and got all the parts myself, he would do all the labor and get my car back to me the same not. Sure enough, after spending around $400 on new calipers, brake pads and rotors for my front brakes, I brought all the parts to him and he got working on it right away despite being busy with other cars at the same time. Overall, I only spent about $535 to get a full brake job done on my front brakes, and had my car back within just an hour of dropping it off. My brakes have worked perfectly since then. Pep boys quoted me $1200 to have the same service done and weren’t available for an appointment until the following week, and one Honda dealership in town quoted me $1100 if I needed my rotors replaced too, which I did. The turnaround time for my service was outstanding, the service itself was flawless, and the prices for labor here are unbeatable by anyone else in town. Higgy’s Auto was a lifesaver considering that I rely on my car for 100% of my income, and could not wait until the following week to get my car fixed. If I could give this place 6/5 stars I would. I will definitely be returning in the future when I need other maintenance done.

We were on a Colorado road trip from Wisconsin, vehicle broke down in Colorado Springs. When everyone else was closed or getting ready to close for the evening, Higgy's worked late to get our vehicle fixed and back on the road. For a reasonable price as well. Higgy's gave us outstanding service and saved our trip!

Higgys Auto is the only place I would recommend. Luke, the owner and his team are amazing people, they even offered to drive me home after I dropped my car off for service and had to Uber back home. Higgys prices are unbeatable, he can text and call, communicates quickly and is very up front with the diagnosis, and doesn’t rip you off. He’s very genuine, as is his team. Will certainly be coming back here in the future.
