I was looking for my first "new" and beginner motorcycle in the Bay Area and I got a beautiful 2025 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 here at Rockridge Two Wheels! The folks here - Brian, Daniel and Alex were absolutely professional, down to earth and what I value most is honesty. I was looking at the Scram 411 at another dealership but it was the folks here at Rockridge that pointed out that I needed something with a little more power to tackle the highways here in the Bay Area. While the Scram 411 will handle local streets just fine, it will struggle on the highways. The Himalayan 450 had almost twice the power output of the Scram 411 and after taking it out on the highway, I absolutely agree with the folks at Rockridge Two Wheels. I am super happy with the bike and I am loving the ride! They gave me a great discount to help out on my first new bike too! The space is small but well decorated and they host community events from time to time. if you love dogs, there is also a wonderful friendly rottweiler named Vinny there! Check out their new show bike - Himalayan 450 build decorated in a custom Red White and Blue! I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for Royal Enfields, Aprilias, Vespas!

Generally speaking, I would say this place is far overpriced and disorganized. I am not confident that the team did perform all elements of the 12k service for my Vespa (the guy on the phone balked at the valve check need, which is part of the service - I called other places after the fact and they said a valve check was normal). The front desk guy didn’t call me when my Vespa was ready, although he told me he would. He said he thought I’d “just come get it.” I didn’t feel like my time was respected; he did provide a small discount for this. Lastly, when the team put the casing on the front panel, they forgot to insert the silicone around the clock and set buttons, so those are perpetually sticking out (I had the Vespa service before I moved, so I didn’t get a chance to ask the team to remedy this). For the hourly rate I paid, I would expect better attention to detail. All in all, see if you can get your scooter or bike towed to a place in SF like Tokyo Moto- you’ll save money in the end, and in my experience the attention to detail and professionalism are greater there. Two stars because I think this place is price-gouging given their location and monopoly on the East Bay scooter service market, and their professional standards and attention to detail don’t match the cost by far.

I can not say enough great things about this place. Everyone that we interact with was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommended this business to anyone from the experienced rider to the novice. They also have a large inventory of Vespas.

I've worked with Aprilia dealerships across Southern and Northern California, and the team at RRTW is one of the very best. Their service department made my 2001 RSV ride, look and sound like new - not an easy task for bike that age. Alex is an honest manager who clearly communicates the pros and cons of your options, and their prices are extremely reasonable given the level of service they deliver.

Daniel, Bryan and Alex, know what they were doing. They are kind, patient, good listeners... I could keep going. They worked with me over a few months while picking a new scooter. Alex is a great mechanic that will tell you the truth and not pandering, which is important to me being a woman. They are a really good team that not only helped me, but my friend, to buy her first scooter as well. These guys are trustworthy 100%.

Rockridge Two Wheels has been the go-to mechanic for my Suzuki GZ since 2013...back in their College Ave days. The move to Shattuck and the subsequent sale saw what I'll respectfully call a "dip" in their service model. The great news is the new folks - Alex, Daniel, Jordan and team - have brought my beloved RRTW back!! Great communication, great repairs, super efficient, great customer service. And Courteous!! Which, as a women rider is a deal breaker when you're not. So if you're looking for a place to call home for your old bike, or looking for a new one, Rockridge Two Wheels is the place!

Great experience with this shop. Worked w Alex on finding a small part for the clutch lever. Not only did they have it but they were happy enough to just give it to me. Will be coming back most definitely.

Great service! I have a 20+ year old Piaggio scooter, and they were very upfront about how hard it can be to find parts - but they managed to do the necessary repairs promptly and at a reasonable price. Great guys to deal with.

I took my scooter here for some minor repairs. These guys are awesome. They know their stuff and they took care of my problem right then and there while I stood and watched. They don't normally fix my brand but they helped me out anyway. I love this place.

On July 27, 2024 I called them because I saw a bike that I really like which was the Yamaha R6. I advised Daniel that I was in the market for a bike because I just got my motorcycle license and I am a new rider. He gave me great advice and had patience even though I am all the way out in Massachusetts; knowing that the chance of me buying a bike from them was pretty slim. However, he did a great job at staring me in the right direction letting me know what bike might be too powerful for me and also suggesting a bike that I would be more comfortable with. If I have the chance to buy a bike from them, I most definitely will.

100% customer satisfaction! I'm out of area calling and shopping around for bikes trying to get the price out the door. From the moment Brian picked up and spoke with me I could tell they're easy going. He was up front and quick about the quote and applied no pressure whatsoever. I liked the price but the bike wasn't in stock yet (aprilia 660) and he suggested I put down a $500 refundable deposit. I sent the quote to my dealership and they said they'd get back to me. I didnt want to lose the bike and the price from Brian so I gave them the $500 to hold. My dealership got back to me and ended up matching the price. I opted to stay local and when I called Brian he was super understanding and again offered me another price to beat my local guy! (Substantial) Unfortunately it was kinda worth it to me, to stay local.When I explained this to him he assured me it wasn't a problem and offered his services anywhere down the line in the future as well as my full refund. Sometimes you can just tell when your dealing with good people. Thanks again for your time Brian!

I have been a happy customer/client of Rockridge Two Wheels since I bought a 2022 Royal Enfield int 650 a couple of years ago as a commute-friendly supplement to my 1700CC Triumph cruiser. The price was right, I already liked the people, and it’s a few blocks from my home. The bike itself is fantastic, per reviews already out there. A shop I can trust makes it even better. When Rockridge Two Wheels was sold I was sorry to see the people go but pleased to discover it would be a sister shop to the store in San Rafael that made it worth the distance to service my Triumph, so I had high hopes. I am not disappointed. Daniel, Brian, and Alex, up-front, are always patient and friendly. They are knowledgeable and bend over backwards to be helpful. They work as a team with Jordan, the tech, to get things done quickly and professionally. That every person there has the skill, knowledge, and willingness such that regardless of who is there I know what to expect when I need work or a part and that the response will be prompt and enthusiastic means that I never have to worry that I’m getting the most competent, most honest, dependable, and highest-quality, work for my money.

Just popped in to see if they had any hardshell trunks that I could attach to my e-bike. Alex was quick to help and had one that looked like it could fit my bike. Usually these are very expensive and I am on a budget so I figured that I was just going to learn and dream and nothing more. But Alex was super kind and gave me an absolutely incredible deal on it! And this is for an e-bike so they weren't angling for any kind of additional sales from repairs from me. This is why I love buying things from local retailers vs. Amazon. And Rockridge Two Wheels is a prime example of why. Cannot recommend them enough!

place to go if you want to be ignored. walked in ready to purchase a new vespa. the two sales guys were helping others - ok no big deal. but after standing around waiting for 15 minutes and asking another guy in the back (who was too busy eating to help), no one even acknowledged me. what a bunch of losers

Great shop around Oakland/East Bay for Aprilia maintenance. People never know what to do with my bike (Aprilia Tuono 2007) but these guys know their stuff and if you’re looking for a crew to take care of your Italian bike when it needs some work, this is the spot.

I always judge a business by what they do when things go wrong. A lot of dealerships are sunshine and smiles when they want you to buy a bike, but turn nasty when a problem arises. I bought a bike from Rockridge Two Wheels recently and it had a small issue. A small issue on an expensive bike can still make a sizable hole in your wallet, though. I was a little nervous taking my bike in. Were they going to say a rock hit the part and it wasn't covered by warranty? Would they say I'd messed with it? Would they find some other excuse? No. They just took care of it on the warranty. It's nice when a business stands up and does the right thing. Full marks.

chill little shop. It’s got a SF vibe to it. It has mostly new bikes, a repair shop, a handful of accessories, and a few used motorcycles. New bikes mostly consists of Royal Enfield (nearly all the 350 models) and Vespa. The used ones they have were all very solid makes and models too: Honda Metropolitan, Genuine Buddy, Vespa. Not bad! Tough to find a general shop like this in East Bay. Most specialize. The prices for used vehicles are about $1300+ above online classifieds. The workers are chill, never pushy. You can get a straight-up quote easily by just asking. I’d def trust these people over Mr. Scooter in the mission district of SF, lol!

This is the kind of community and dealership that makes riding a bike so amazing. These fine gentlemen assisted me when I drove my Goldwing into their shop with a failed brake caliper. They lent their tools, time, and expertise to me when I wasn't even a buyer. This is where great service shines through and the real morals of a shop shows. This is the place to buy your next (or first) motorcycle/scooter. These guys are the real deal!

Took my 2022 Himalayan here after they said they would be able to update my ECU software to the newest version. Left the bike and was called back maybe 45 minutes later to come get it. They told me that my ECU already had the newest software and they did not perform an update. I asked how this was possible as I bought the bike in 2022 and this ECU update was not released until January of 2023. They did not have an answer and it was clear they would not be updating the software so I did not press the issue and left. I shipped my ECU to a Royal Enfield dealer on the east coast where they confirmed it was running the old software and were able to update it and ship it back to me. 2 stars because at least I was not charged.
