Nice people but they quoted me $500 more than the dealership, and they dont apply their diagnostic fee towards the fix like most places do.

We were driving through Jacksonville a little after 4pm Friday afternoon when a ladder appeared in the middle of the interstate! My son and his family were all in the car. We hit it hard as there was no way to avoid it! Another car hit it as well. We were thankful to be okay, but we had to wait for the car to be towed. The car was towed to RPM Automotive, and they looked it over and fixed what they could. They couldn’t have been kinder and were very professional. We were able to get the car to a hotel and then home safely the next day. The car is still being repaired here where we live.

Great! They are using some more online tools to help you know exactly what is going on with your vehicle. It was really cool seeing the parts they were looking at replacing with photos!

Set an appointment... Approved... Got there in time and they told me they time have the staff. It's a work truck and I came in early just to have my time wasted. Guy at counter was very rude, don't waste your time with these people. Service has gone downhill.

They were very disappointing. They said they couldn't replace my Jeep ignition module to go to the dealer. The dealer refused to work on it because of its age, 2009 But the RPM motors on San Jose gladly did it for me the RPM motors on Phillips highway wasn't going to go to the extra length of calling a traveling car ignition programmer to come out and do it for me so RPM Philips just lied, lied because they were too lazy to, work on it. God forbid they make another phone call right. I cannot recommend this store at all. Solid one star store. I wouldn't take my car there to get an oil change that's for sure I'm sure it's $100 each time. I definitely consider them untrustworthy.

I've personally Managed Heavy Diesel shops all over the country. I only brought my wife's car here due to not having access to a lift. Trust me run these people are a scam. These people are going to take advantage or you. Not to mention this is just a nice Pep Boy's. The Service Advisor Heriberto is extremely rude and should be fired on the spot. I've been a General Manager or Shop Operations manager for a chain Heavy Diesel shops for over ten year. I honestly don't understand how he is allowed to treat people like he does.

Called and asked if they could do a used vehicle inspection. They said yes. Had the dealership send it over and when they called me they said they inspected everything and did a road test. Only issue was seat heater and a key cover missing. Everything else was basic wear. Based on the good inspection I purchased the vehicle. It was shipped to me. Had a serious rough idle and the check engine light comes on with less than a 1 mile drive and will continue to come on even when it's cleared. Either they know the dealership or they are the most incompetent shop when it comes to vehicle inspections.

This is my first go around to coming to a show to say well-established mechanic shop. I was recommended from AAA to come here to get my car, looked at for service and the amount of time it took them to check on my vehicle, even though I was the only one here was outstanding then I was charged a diagnostic fee and didn’t even get any paperwork for my diagnostic fee of $118 so I had to come back up here for it the staffing seems very unprofessional and very racist. I came in just letting them know off the top what I was going to do and what I needed to be done, but even with this information and being professional, and knowing that businesses have things that they have to do as well. I will not be back.

had a panel under my car come loose and i was nearby this place. drove in and they were able to help me by removing it for me and got me in/out of there in 10 minutes. I would recommend making an appt for service though as they seem to get busy. Very helpful people! Thank you guys!

I had AC water leaking inside the drivers land passenger front floor board. Arrived at 0700 and was leaving the store at 0745 with the repair done. The service, professional interaction and thoroughness is second to none. The front desk guys are the best. I found a service that the dealer was going to charge me over $300 for the AC hose(s) being backed up. I highly recommend RPG, and will use them for all my automotive needs.

I rather come here than a dealership on both my personal and work vehicle. RPM is very helpful at pointing out what’s wrong with my vehicles, pricing and acknowledging me when I come in and leave.

This place is the worst place I’ve ever been to! I brought in my car for complete ax work and o get front brakes rotors and calipers. Within two weeks the ax wasn’t blowing cold air and I had to bring it back in. A month later my brakes aren’t stopping me properly and I’ve had to bring it back in again. The manager Mike has refused to check the car after I took it to Firestone and they told me to take it back and have RPM complete the work they started. And the manager was very rude and unprofessional as I had to call him everyday for two weeks trying to talk to him, he would not return my calls. If I could rate this place any lower I would definitely rate them lower than the one I gave them. Go someplace else do not take your vehicle(s) here!

You can really trust RPM Automotive they will never try to add on services that you don't need and they look for ways to save you money. The people who work there are especially nice and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Michael, Steve and the whole team at RPM Automotive

I came in to get my front two tires replaced on Saturday and when I left my alignment was off. I understand that a tire change typically doesn’t affect the alignment of the car but clearly there was some sort of mistake made. I immediately called the shop and told them and the man I spoke to said to come back on Monday and they would fix it since the mechanic wasn’t currently in. I called back on Monday to confirm that I would be able to bring it in and the man we spoke to this time told me that I would have to pay for the alignment. This is completely unacceptable. Any other mechanic would have fixed this free of charge. My vehicle operated correctly when I came in and when I left it was no longer operating correctly. That is pretty simple. Not only this but the mechanic still wasn’t in and I was told he wouldn’t be back until the next day. So I was completely misinformed. On top of all of this, the man we spoke to was incredibly rude and belittling. His level of unprofessionalism was astounding. He wouldn’t listen to me and no matter what I said he was just plain rude. Even if you don’t want to comp the alignment there’s no need to be nasty. I would love to speak with the owner about fixing this issue. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

I went to RPM at the Avenues this morning to get an alternator installed on my GMC Envoy. After a general inspection, they also found that my Serpentine Belt also needed replacing. I had just gotten back from a long trip "out of state" visiting relatives and had visited a dealership about another problem with a warning light which I was having. The alternator problem was not even detected, even while mentioning "that my car wouldn't start" and having to "have it jump started" in a Walmart parking lot. So I assumed all was OK. A local car repair shop in my wife's home town, discovered the alternator problem, after my car wouldn't start, after fulling packing the car for our trip back home. And the owner advised me to visit "my mechanic", when I got back to Jacksonville, so that my "recently purchased battery" wouldn't go bad. I know that this is a long review, but I felt it necessary so that I could express my sincere appreciation on how the staff at RPM has been treating me & my cars prior to the construction of "The Avenues" location and until today! The honesty, integrity and sincere determination of everyone at RPM to ensure that my car situation was resolved & that I could "hit the roads" safely during my travels! My shout out today to Travis, Eddie, Brian & the entire staff for repairing my vehicle & treating me "royally"!

Made an appointment for 9:30 AM. Dropped it off early on my way to work. Called at 4 PM for status. They hadn't even touched it. Went to pick it up and told them I was taking it elsewhere, that's when they jumped in it to take a look. Too late RPM. Automotive knowledge might be good, I'll never know, because sounds like a management issue. They don't understand the concept of appts or expectation management.

My fiancé came in to get his front two tires replaced and when he left his alignment was off. we understand that tire changes don't typically affect the alignment but there was obviously some kind of mistake. he was first told to bring it in on the following monday to get the alignment fixed but when he called on monday to confirm he was met with one of the most unprofessional people i've ever had to deal with. he then was telling him that he would have to pay for the alignment. this is unheard of and any other mechanic would've fixed this issue free of charge. if my car is driving perfectly fine before i bring it to you and when i leave it's not, you should fix it. plain and simple. after reading other reviews this seems to be a reoccurring issue. the man my fiancé spoke to was belittling and interrupted him on multiple occasions all while telling my fiancé that HE wasn't listening. piece of advice, if you want to have good customer service, it's probably a good idea to not interrupt your customer every single time they try to speak.
