I cold-called this place for a bumper repair and they fit me in right away and did the repair perfectly. You cant even see that the damage was there at all! Such a friendly and professional experience. 10/10 would recommend and go again.

Brought my car here and Sandis made the car look like new. He communicated with me throughout the process to keep me updated. The shop itself is clean and bright shop the service is very professional. Do yourself a favor if you need a good body shop and come here. You will not need disappointed.

Long story short - HIGHLY RECOMMEND Long story long - I stumbled upon this auto repair place after my car got hit while parked on the side of the road during Father’s Day weekend. I am from out of state and had to trust my car to get towed for holding where it eventually found its way to S. Murphy. It’s been a long process dealing with insurance to get appraisals and everything fixed, but I was always well taken care of even being in another state. They were communicative with insurance and answering all my questions when I called. They did a diligent job making sure ALL damage from the hit was taken care of and covered by insurance, not willing to leave it as “good enough”. There were parts on back order for MONTHS (not their fault at all) and I still trusted my car to be here since June. I finally got my car back mid September and was greeted kindly upon arrival, my car was detailed and better than even before the accident happened. I was extremely happy with the customer service, the body work, the auto work, ALL OF IT. Now while I don’t live in Philly, anyone who does or perchance ends up there needing auto work - take your car to S. Murphy. You won’t regret it!

Whoever is parking the cars there doesn't care about safety or accessibility because they keep blocking the bike lane and the sidewalk. If someone in a wheelchair has to get by, they're screwed, and bicyclists have to out into traffic to get around them. Not to mention the weight of the vehicles is damaging the sidewalk there.

2nd review - Sandas has reached out & rectified the situation which is appreciated and commendable; not all businesses care to fix their mistakes. He apologized for the lack of communication & delay, provided an estimate shortly after and even came to assist my father with putting a spare on the following day. I’ll likely stick with him to fix the car & will provide a final rating at that time. 1st review - Expressed to him how dire and time sensitive getting an estimate for my car was and instead of being transparent about his lack of availability, he decides to draft a plan of action and then completely dropped the ball. So after me calling & texting with no response, my dad calls & he picks up with the same bullsh!t stating he’d start working on the estimate in 10Minutes which, of course we knew was a lie. My father responds that if he’s not available please just let us know so we can move on. He goes “I’m not available” & hangs up. Why even accept the job in the first place????Unprofessional & tasteless behavior. I should’ve expected as much though.. typical.

Great shop they’re quick and affordable they didn’t try to crack me over the head with the price. It was pretty fair price and they got my car back to me with in a week. The work that was done was very good they took care of my car as if it was theirs. I was nervous on how my car was going to come out because I had bad damage to the left driver side of my car. My headlight was smashed, the front bumper was cracked and my grill was done. These guys worked their magic and got my baby looking dealership fresh. I smiled instantly when they rolled my car out the garage. I’m really thankful that I found a honest car shop to go to where the pricing is good and the work is excellent.

Due to the overwhelming experience of having theft to my vehicle. SMurphy was recommended. The back order for catalytic converters is 6 months or more. Mr. S. I've been here a few times now. Every single time, they've been incredibly understanding, honest, and helpful. The first time, my car just had a fuse blown and they didn't charge me because it was a small fix. When I was new to the city and struggling with car trouble alone, I felt like I could trust the people at this business, and they haven't proven me wrong yet. Now I won't go to any other mechanic in Philly because the prices are fair and the folks here clearly have compassion for their customers.
