We were towing a homemade trailer across the country earlier this year and had just had our bearings repacked 100 miles prior when we noticed one was scalding hot. Castle nut had been tightened too much and we were shamefully unprepared to handle it. We pulled up to S&S and Steve stopped what he was doing to have a look and loosen it for us. He had us back on the road in 20 minutes and declined our offer of payment. Bearings ran nice and cool for the rest of the trip. Thanks, Steve!

I can not thank Steve enough for taking such good care of my daughters. After breaking down on the interstate more than a thousand miles from home, he stopped and figured out what was wrong, and went way out of his way to fix the issue, and get them back on the road. My sister and I were driving on the interstate when we heard a loud bang under the car. We immediately pulled over and saw oil spilling out of her car. We weren’t even stopped for 20 minutes when the owner, Steve, pulled over and asked if we needed help. He helped us find the issue—the plug had fallen off releasing the oil—and went as far as to drive 20 minutes to an auto parts store to grab what we needed, then put it on and fill the oil tank. So, so grateful for his kindness and assistance. Thank you again!!

I had Steve replace the transmission in my Yukon with a rebuilt one. I could have done it myself but it would have taken me about 3 days longer. Very satisfied with the way they di business.

Pulled in to the lot, went in and told Steve that I had engine and stabilitrak lights come on just outside of town. He went out, hooked up his code reader, found the problem, turned out it was a loose plug wire. He fixed it and sent me on my way. Great, friendly, service. THANK YOU STEVE!!!

We came in off the road with a problem we needed help to diagnose. Steve took one look at the front tire and knew what the problem was. Steve and his associate Tyler went right to work on getting the wheel bearing and axle fixed. He didn't have all the parts, but went immediately to Newcastle to get them. We were in and out in 2 hours. We were so impressed with their knowledge, skill, and above all extremely excellent customer service. They were working on our car and several others at the same time. All with super great attitudes in the hot weather. Steve suggested we get lunch at the little diner down the street. We did and met Mickie, another awesome citizen. We left knowing why the signs at the edges of town read, "Welcome to Upton Best Town on Earth" The town looks as though it's seen better days. BUT, the people are Upton's most prized possessions! Thank you Steve & Tyler for turning what could have been a terrible situation into a grand experience!! Oh, and the cost was much less than I expected.

Always bust their A$$ to get what i need as quick as they can if they dont have what i need on hand. Almost always have it the next day soemtimes same day. In the old B4 auto building with new owners give em a shot to earn you business back.

Steve is such a great person, I was broke down at the Upton gas station on a Saturday when the parts store wasn't open and stopped to help me get my Duramax back running, then also offered to take my truck to his shop put my body buttons back into my fender to help keep the snow out of my air intake and then also thawed out my air intake for me and help me put it all back together in -16° weather. I cannot say enough good things about this place and Steve!

We arrived unannounced with a completely non-functional RV that limped into S & S. Steve and his team came to our rescue and fixed our vehicle for us! If it weren't for their skill and willingness to help we would have been completely stranded! We are their new biggest fans!
