If I could give them no stars I would…I pulled in asked did I need a new front tire he sad yeah and I asked why if I just purchased the tire then the lady come out there and say she got 2 for 80 that’s why it’s like that …the law prohibits selling tires without correct thread I never asked for a back tire I was offered it and the new dude put that old tire on the front of my car…all they do is get over on people this the second time it want be a 3rd..if you need tire go to Sam over southside

Called to get a quote for some affordable used tires after getting quoted scam-prices from a couple other places. Was met by such friendly customer service and much better prices over the phone and in person by Gigi. Service was super quick and easy and we were home in time for my doctor's appointment.

This place has quick service and the used tire seems decent so far. People were nice too. Unfortunately the woman charged me for tire desposal, but I don’t think she realized that I took my old tire with me. I didn’t realize until I had already driven home that I was charged a disposal fee :( Otherwise I would have given five stars.

I came in to get my tires balanced. The manager talked about how I had new tires on my vehicle. When they put the tires back on, they put the two from ones, that were furthest away from me, on last. They thought I wouldn’t look at them. When I looked, the tires were old, used and muddy…

Manager/owner? On the phone told me to come on by for $180 he had a complete set of used tires in my size. Good condition he said “come on by and take a look.” I did just that and he said “here they are right here $260.” I reminded him of our conversation on the phone and says “oh no no no, for $180 you get two different brands” and he took me to the back to find a set of random tires. He told me I was mistaken. I offered $200 cash and he countered with $260. Eventually he came down to $240 and I wasn’t happy with it considering they were $180 on the phone. I called my wife to consult with her and tell her about how they were trying to con me. I get off the phone and step out of the car and the manager/owner walks up to me and offers them at $220. I wasn’t ecstatic about it, considering they were $180 on the phone but I accepted. They put on the tires and then he comes to me 5 minutes later with the bill and says “it’ll be $240 even” I say to him “you just told me 5 minutes ago $220, that’s why I accepted.” He say’s “oh no you’re mistaken.. $240” I pay reluctantly and leave. Bottom line. They bs you with a price to get you in the door and then play you to get some more $$$ out of you. Word is bond and a deal is a deal to most, not to them. I recommend going elsewhere

i come here whenever i have any tire issues of any kind , and they are always speedy fast & reasonable with their prices. there was even a time i stopped by thinking there was a nail in my tire, and they checked it out for me and added air for me, free of charge. between this car and my old one, i’ve never really had the best car luck but they always get me right when i need it! the woman who works the front is always great along with the other gentleman who always services my car. consider tipping the hard workers here, especially them servicing your car in the height of the summer like this.

There was a ladder on the highway that I could not avoid which blew out my tire. I got AAA to tow me here and I was out within 15 mins with a more than reasonably priced tire! Can’t thank them enough for getting my day back on track :)

They saved me! Got a flat coming into Richmond from Norfolk to visit a friend. The very next morning they had a new tire on my car in minutes and it only cost me like $50. I would definitely go back to them in the future.

DRY ROT. DO NOT BUY. Got a tire on 2/27 returned to show that the tire was defective & they refused to honor the contract on their receipt that says 30 day replacement guarantee. I spent $84 on two tires & they won't even replace one. They tried to say I need an alignment but I've already gotten one so I know this is false. Today is 3/14 so I'm well within the 30 day limit & i came with receipt. Terrible customer service & they do not honor their contracts.

I had such a great experience with Sam’s New & Used Tire! I got in my car this morning I got in my car and started driving just to hear a nail hitting the wheel well, so I drove straight to the shop to get it patched. I went to the auto repair shop I usually do, and they said they couldn’t patch it and sent me to Sam’s, where they immediately jacked up my car and took the wheel off to fix it. And of course I forgot my wallet and the only bank account I had in my Apple Pay was down, so I couldn’t pay for the (extremely affordable) repair, and they were so nice & understanding. I will for sure be recommending this place to my friends!

Got two tires for $100 and they didn’t even take the time to balance the tires going home on the interstate the car was bouncing all over the road when we called the lady acted like it wasn’t a big deal and got smart and said she stated that fortunately she knows about cars like apparently we don’t playing with peoples vehicles is not a joke this is a lawsuit waiting to happen please stay away from this place

I had such a great experience working with these guys! GG was so kind and honest with me about what I needed, they gave me bigger tires for my Jeep and talked me out of getting a spare tire to match because mine was still good to use. They even recommended I get an alignment done. I would recommend them to anybody! Great family business :) Thanks again, y’all!

Open on Saturday, drove my car with a flat and they changed it there all within 15 minutes. Friendly service, reasonable price for the tire. Didn't even charge for the labor

I've been coming to Sam's on chamberlayne for a while now whenever I have a tire issue and need a quick fix/replacement. My most recent visit was due to having two tires reading low PSI, but it turns out I really needed to replace all four tires. Gigi helped to find me four practically new tires for a deal, and also made sure her guys thoroughly inspected my previous tires, where they found a small nail that was the culprit for the slow leak in one of my tires. The service is super fast, reasonable, and they're always willing to work with you!
