The team managed replacing my totally ruptured tire with a new one on the old rim in a few hours during Saturday night. The price and time are reasonable. Don't have to tow the car somewhere and wait for Monday.

Saw a nail in my tire at 8 PM, and called San Jose Mobile Tire Guys. Anthony picked up, set my expectations that he's got a a few appointments but he can squeeze me in at 1030 PM. He asked a few clarifying questions about the nail - it's location, if the sidewall looks ruptured, if the car can be driven, etc . I get a call back at 10 PM instead, and Anthony drives up a few minutes later. He looks at the tire and says it doesn't look too bad, pulls out the wheel entirely, pulls the nail out, patches up the tire, puts it back on, and goes on his merry way. Total cost - $130. The fact that I can now go about my day tomorrow instead of calling a tow truck and waiting at a tire shop - priceless. Thanks a mil for the late night call, Anthony! Drive safe!
