I trust that they know what they are doing. They’re well organized. But the last time I took my vehicle in for service, they did their inspection and recommended over $6000 in maintenance (literally over $6000). The recommendations come in a check list that you’re supposed to fill out on the internet. I balked at this massive bill and gave them a call. The guy I talked to recommended $2600 worth of work, which I reluctantly agreed to. I have no idea if this was actually important maintenance or if I’m being taken advantage of. That trust is really important for a mechanic, and I will probably start taking my vehicle elsewhere. I need to believe that my mechanic has my best interest in mind, and I don’t believe that anymore with this Toyota dealership. On top of all this, they were rude to my wife when she went to pick up the car (despite the $2600 we were paying them).

I bought a new 2023 tundra 1794 and have been in the shop twice for the same electrical problems. Also after having it serviced there the oil cover came down on the freeway.

I've been to this service center a number of times over the past few years, and would not recommend it to others Pros: - Nice, courtesy desk staff Cons: - Overpriced for the services they provide. For example, I brought my 2009 Toyota Prius in to get the front two tires changed and to have the Maintenance Required light addressed. They changed the tires, but did not have someone in who could check the maintenance required light. I was charged over $100 for this - Lack of appointment availability. For that appointment to address the Maintenance Required light, I had to book out three weeks in advanced. Plus, the whole reason I needed that appointment is that they were unable to provide that service at the appointment where I had specifically requested the service when requested - Unfavorable practices. They constantly underinflated or deflate my tires to the recommended pressure on the door of my vehicle, which is 32 PSI, whereas my tires are rated to be inflated to 51 PSI. This wears the tires out faster and reduces fuel economy. Further, they warned of the "incredible" amount of rust on the undercarriage of my vehicle, warning that my car could break down "very soon". My car was in the north for its first 13 years, where rust on the undercarriage is common, and my vehicle has been operating without malfunction since that warning for over two years I've since found a new service provider, Advantage Automotive, which I will now be going to regularly and recommending to others

I took my 2010 Toyota Prius in for Spark plugs. Service Advisor Dave Carrell was initially super nice. He SPECIFICALLY SAID that the technician "removed the entire window wiper/cowl assembly to put in the new spark plugs" (as I had noted to him earlier as seeming difficult from watching a YouTube video of the process). Then he had the tech come over and tell me how old the former spark plugs were ("seemed like the originals"). Long story short, I get home and pop my hood and the wiper/cowl assembly is exactly as when I had taken it in, old PINE NEEDLES and all from LAST FALL!! Now any fancy dealership service center that prides itself on going "above and beyond" would have taken the 2 seconds to flip that part upside down when they removed it rather than reinstall it full of pine needles (even my child would have the human instinct to do that) which leads me to believe that it wasn't touched and the Spark Plugs weren't even touched either. He also talked me into a "carbon cleaning" treatment. Given that I reported that my engine had the shakes upon start-up/random idle and burning oil, I would have thought the tech might also keep track of which cylinder each spark plug was removed from and taken the time to alert me as to which one was dirtier/more blackened or burnt/oily than the others which could have been critical in diagnosing a Head Gasket issue. But nothing was shown to me or described to me. Since my appointment on 9/11/24, I've sent Dave a text to the cell phone he called me from to tell me my car was ready, left him 3 voicemail messages via the dealership phone number over the past 13 days and gotten ZERO response. This seems very suspect because my messages have been very kind and reasonable. What kind of customer service is this? My family has always owned Toyotas but trust has been crumbling with this Service facility, I hate to say it.

I've been having a mysterious issue with my Toyota that's still under warranty. Anthony the service manager followed up on my phone call quickly; his shop engaged with the manufacturer and did a pretty thorough job inspecting and documenting my issue to report to Toyota. Now we wait and see what the manufacturer says. Very professional work that left me satisfied, excellent communication with the customer.

Close to the worst car service I've ever experienced. Their staff straight up lied to my face. Three times if you count that they said they would expedite my service and it took and hour and half to do a oil change. No apologies offered at all.

I had an appointment today for a general check up and an a oil change. It took 4.5 hours for the oil change which unacceptable. I made the appointment two weeks ago and the lady who help me never said anything about an oil change taking 4.5 hours. I have purchased two vehicles from Sandia. I am beginning to look for a new car. After this experience I am probably not going to consider Sandia. I do not know what the issue is in the Service Department but obviously it is not being managed properly.

The rating really should be ZERO. I switched my three vehicles here when they opened the dealership and have been pleased with service until today. I made an appointment for an oil change for my Tundra a week ago for 0915 and indicated that I would wait at the dealership for the vehicle. When I arrived, I was told that what I made was not an appointment but it was a "drop off" time and it would be up to 4 hours until my vehicle would be ready. In the past, I may have waited an hour and 30 minutes, but no more than that. I checked on the vehicle after two hours and it was still parked outside. They told me I was next and a short time later moved the vehicle inside. It took two more hours to complete the oil change and my vehicle was finally ready after four hours and twenty minutes. Mind you this was with an appointment! I will no longer give my business to Sandia Toyota as they have demonstrated that customers and good customer service are no longer a priority for them.

They are good in sales not in service 👎 even if you have appoint for 9:00 am they will finish by 12:30 or 1 pm for just topping fluid and tire rotation. This people will go and watch discount tire how long they take for tire balance and rotation !! I am impressed with sales team but service very worst. They have to improve

Made a service appointment last week. Show up and they proceed to tell me its a 5 hour wait. No call or email informing me, hey just so we dont waste your time there is quite a long wait. No, just a shrug of the shoulders. The manager needs to be demoted or outright fired. What ever happened to customer service in this day and age.

What’s the point of having appointments when you have to wait for a whole day to get it done? I’d rather go somewhere else. What a waste of time. I had an appointment for an oil change at 9:30 am in the morning, now is 2:00 pm and they haven’t started on working my car yet. Appointments are useless.

Dave in the service department was professional and very easy to work with. They gave me a ride to and from the dealership when I really needed it. I’ll for sure be coming back for anything my family needs in the future. Also, I got my car back very quickly. A salesman named Marcel went out of his way to show me the new Grand Highlander while I waited on my Lyft. Thanks guys

Today I had a great experience at Sandia Toyota's Service Center thanks especially to Dave Carrell, who made it all happen. Dave made sure the parts my car needed were on-hand this morning when I showed up for my appointment, and then kept me posted while both rear shocks were replaced. Dave is knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and told me the truth about my car's situation for which I am extremely grateful. I want to thank Dave Carrell for all the work he did to make today's repairs happen and for getting my car back in driving condition!. I highly recommend Sandia Toyota and especially Dave Carrell. Five stars!

I called the part department twice since they hung up the first time to have them set aside a part for me. They told me they would have it ready for me. I showed up and had to wait anyway, since they didn’t place it in will-call. I will stick to Larry H Miller Toyota.

Service manager was disrespectful and service techs were untruthful and pushing sales then not performing the services I paid for after they used scare tactics to get me to agree to the services. My rear passenger tire was flat after leaving the service area though it was fine going in. No signs of alignment actually being performed and when we called the service manager refused to speak to us about it and kept pawning us off on the service tech. They also hung up on us multiple times and kept putting us on hold. I will never use them again and I highly recommend that no one else use them either.

Sandia Toyota got me in on short notice while I was passing through town and even honored a coupon I had. Oil change and inspection was quick and done well. I really appreciate the updates by text and the video inspection sent by the tech. I'd trust Sandia Toyota again 100%.

I was expecting service on my vehicle but they hit me with all additional services needed which would have cost a fortune to do all of them at once!! Not expecting this at all!! My Tacoma just came out of warranty and this is what I was hit with!! Not very happy and I wasn't treated very well either.

Go for a regular inspection as done before, then got an not mentioned trip security check. Also cost me an regular multipoint check. I am not sure why I got charged twice for a check. It's not fair.

I went to Sandia Toyota as LHM Toyota had replaced a rack and pinon and incorrectly installed the yoke on the assembly. LHM Toyota had caused the issue and couldn't fix it. This forced me to travel clear across town to Sandia Toyota as I lost trust in the other dealer entirely. Service was able to diagnose and repair the issue in half a day. My advisor was Richard. This service department came in clutch with a nice temporary loaner vehicle as well. Kudos all around.

Totally loving the service center! I just recently got new tires on my vehicle. Well the other day I was turning a corner and I popped my tire. With the help of a friend I change my tire. I called Toyota and they had one available. As soon as I was finished with my delivery I went over and they were able to change my tire in time for me to get back out and work again.
