I've brought my car in twice and both times the staff were amazing! Super friendly and accommodating; the most recent time they ran a free code for a check engine light and determined it was just a loose gas cap. The first time I went in, pricing was extremely fair and they replaced my alternator belts within a day, with very short notice. Super convenient location as well! They are so understanding and have never been condescending about my lack of knowledge about cars, which is (for some reason) hard to find in a mechanic. I love this place and will continue to go here as long as I live in Santa Cruz! Thank you so much again!!

Knowledgeable and honest with fair pricing. They put a new transmission in my truck, and it runs and drives 💯 better than it ever did. I bought the truck brand new. It is a GMC. It was a lemon from the factory. The dealers are not competent around here. They tried to polish the turd but it still stunk.

I’ve been coming to this shop for a few years, they are a terrific family business. They take great care of my Lexus Hybrid. I feel like they are always honest and never oversell. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars and I normally don’t give reviews.

I took my car to Santa Cruz Motorsports on Cedar Street for a Smog Check. I had a very good experience; they were prompt and polite and had the smog check done while I waited. The price was right, and the office where I waited was a clean and comfortable place. I would go there again.

In stark contrast to the common laundry list of unnecessary repairs often presented at dealerships, Santa Cruz Motorsports' focus lies solely on identifying and addressing genuine mechanical needs. This was evident in my not too long ago interaction, where an issue with headlight condensation arose during the rainy season. The local Toyota dealership, unfortunately, bless their greedy little hearts, quoted me $800-$1,000 to replace the entire headlight assembly because of some condensation issues. Such a recommendation without exploring alternative solutions left me feeling frustrated and skeptical of their recommendations Thankfully, I discovered this business through a quick google search.
