I’ve only had great experiences with the friendly folks at Seredni. Quicker than I was imagining, and no surprises. I recently replaced all my tires, and it was the easiest experience ever. Also, I love my tires.

Terrible customer service/overall service to vehicle. Had to take vehicle here to diagnose electrical issue as other shops in area were booked too far out. Told them battery was newer and that voltage, etc was not the issue and that alternator was not the problem. They stated they would do charging system check first and said it was most likely alternator but weren’t real sure exactly. Later they called back and said they also did full diagnostic check also which would be an additional $150 sfter having just said they only did charging system check. Long story short, after paying $700 for alternator replacement that they assured was most likely the problem, the problem still persists. Much better shops in Lakeside area, only took bc I was in a time pinch and paid the price. Never again and will tell family/friends in area the same

I’ve gone to Serrano for several years and always was happy with them. Unfortunately the last several times they have been very difficult to deal with. Most recently I dropped my car off first the in the morning. A bit before closing they called me and asked for a call back. I called them back with a few minutes and got put on hold for 5 minutes until I had get off. I called them the next morning and they put me on hold again for a while. I drove over and they said they still hadn’t got to my car. I left with it as I had other things I had to do. Very disappointed at the very poor communication.

Words can’t express how I feel about this shop. Adam was such an amazing technician. He helped me get back on the road in a flash. He got my car up on the lift and replaced all my brakes, tires, and changed my oil as soon as I got to the store. All around amazing people! Family oriented, made me feel right at home. Definitely will be going back!

If I could put zero stars I would. I initially liked this place, the work was fast. My battery died and I got it jumped and dropped off. They replaced with the premium battery. Everything was fine for about a month and a half. Then didn't drive my car for a day over a holiday weekend. And it died - so dead the locks wouldn't work, had to use the tiny key inside the remote. They were closed for 3 days so We HAD to go to an auto parts store to replace the battery ourselves because I have to work. My husband went to return the battery which was still "under warranty". The dude at the counter said that the battery had to be inside the vehicle for the warranty to be valid and would not do anything. Would not put it on a battery tester, would not check it with a volt meter. We had removed the battery, charged it and then used a volt meter to watch the voltage tick down. something was CLEARLY WRONG WITH THE BATTERY. No thanks, spending $300 for a battery to last a month. To get any satisfaction, they would require me to take a day off work, put the dead battery back in my vehicle, jump it, drive it over to them and wait for them do what? The battery in question did not have a manufacturing date sticker on it anywhere.

After 10 + years of taking my cars to both the Mechanicsville and Lakeside locations, I will be taking my business elsewhere. The front desk staff at both locations are rude and disrespectful! Prior to today, I had decent/average experiences at the Lakeside location but would sometimes use Mechanicsville because of convenience (bad idea). I gave up on Mechanicsville and took my car to Lakeside for a state inspection. When I arrived and began filling out the drop off information, I looked in my glove compartment for the wheel lock that came from the manufacturer. It wasn’t there and these 2 locations are the only shops that have done any work that would require removing the wheels. I called and spoke with Cher and she said she’d check to see if it was put back with my spare or if the shop had a lock and not to worry “I got you”. Well when the owner Auggie called to let me know my vehicle was ready, I asked how they got my wheels off. He wasn’t sure and when I asked to speak to someone who knew, he swore as he put me on hold. Cher got on, told me my wheels did not require a lock (but there was a manufacturer’s lock in my glove compartment prior to leaving it with them) and when I started to ask questions her whole attitude changed. She became very defensive instead of answering my questions. If I can’t leave my car with a business that I can trust with my personal property, that can professionally answer my questions and that aren’t rude and unprofessional, clearly I need to find a more reputable, responsible and professional mechanic!!!

Asked them to install a "custom fit" hitch, that the manufacture's install guide said would only take 45 mins for a professional and 1.5h for a novice to install. They wanted to charge me 2.5 hours of labor just for the hitch and another 30 mins for the wiring. Ended up doing the job myself and only took a little less then 1 hour without a lift. Could have done it much faster with one, that said I am going to have to retract my earlier review and can't really recommend them.

Avoid Avoid Avoid! It should be very clear that when I say they will take advantage of women, they will take advantage of women. After my mother yold me how much they WANTED to charge her for maintenance, I laughed. Told her to take it somewhere else. Poor business practice on Seredni end.

Awesome mechanic. I do a lot of my own work on my car but for things that require special tools or parts that I can't install myself I go to them. For example I've gotten new A/T tires installed and a brake line replaced here; excellent prices, quality, and speed both times. Took them less than an hour to install my tires even without an appointment, and they fixed my brake line the day after I called in about 2-3 hours. Don't think I've had a shop get things done as fast as this place and again the prices always seem fair. Highly recommend this shop, especially for new tires

I can not say enough great things about this shop. I have never been as comfortable as I am now with any other shop. They are truly HONEST people. Cher is AMAZINGGGGG!!! They do the work on all 22 vehicles for the company I work for. They work on all the vehicles for my husbands company and our personal vehicles. They are a TOP NOTCH AUTO MECHANIC. If you are struggling to find a trust worthy, reliable auto mechanic like I once was, do yourself a favor and go check them out. I promise they will not disappoint!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Seredni on Lakeside. I have been bringing my car in here for almost a decade. They have always been able to take care of my car as a walk-in appointment, and they have taken care of it promptly, without nickel and diming me. Good customer service is hard to come by these days, yet it seems to have never wavered at Seredni Lakeside. They go above and beyond for their customers. Last week, Cher went even further, chasing down a part for my car that I needed before leaving for a road trip. She didn't take "no" for an answer when trying to locate the right part, being told it would take another 2-3 days to track down and deliver. She kept up communication with me throughout the 2 days they had my car, updating me through every twist and turn. They got me on the road that night - Cher and the rest of the crew. I will be a lifelong Seredni customer. If you want a neighborhood service shop, these are your guys.

I've been getting standard oil changes, tire rotation, and tune ups at Seredni Lakeside for years now. Everyone is straightforward, easy to work with, quick, and good at what they do. I brought in my car recently for some weird performance issues and it turned out my catalytic converter was cracked. This is a hugely expensive repair, and the Seredni team walked me through how to get the car manufacturer to cover it under an extended warranty through the dealership that I didn't even know about. I really appreciate that this team is never out to make an extra buck and willing to go the extra mile to help out their customers.

Terrible customer service!! Do not take your vehicle there if you are looking for a trustworthy, loyal shop. Spent $500+ after going for a state inspection only to get my car back with a check engine light on. Took it back to the shop and they wanted to charge me a diagnostic charge to see why. After they were the last ones to touch the vehicle and pass it for inspection! Absolutely ridiculous!! We have 5 vehicles between the family that we've been taking there, but NOT anymore!!

This shop is now my go to for all my car needs! As a female knowing little about mechanics, I am skeptical when selecting a mechanic shop. I have been here twice in the last week for services on my vehicle and both times I left feeling relieved and confident in their work! At no point or time did I feel as tho I was being scammed or given the run around. Everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! In addition, they were fast and reliable! They did exactly what they said they would and in a timely, efficient manner! On top of all that, the prices were extremely reasonable! I would definitely recommend this place a thousand times over!

Terrible service and will waste your time by telling you to go ahead bring your vehicle in to drop off to be worked on, 2 days later they haven’t even moved it then will tell ya they’ll get to it in another 2 days

Wish I could get more consistent service and after asking if all fluids and tires checked but they were not and I had to buy washer fluid.
