I am writing this review to share my frustrating experiences with the Sarah Hyundai service center located on Gaston Highway in Trussville. Over the past year, I have visited this dealership multiple times, and each visit has left me increasingly dissatisfied with their level of professionalism and service.From the very beginning, I noticed a troubling pattern: every time I brought my car in for repairs, it seemed like something else would go wrong shortly after. This has led to a cycle of spending hundreds of dollars on what should be straightforward fixes. The prices quoted to me for parts and labor have consistently been extremely high. In fact, I’ve found that by researching the parts myself and purchasing them independently, I can save a significant amount of money—only needing to pay for labor afterward.Currently, my car has been at their service center for five days without any progress. It is incredibly frustrating to feel ignored; no one has even looked at my vehicle until I made a desperate call demanding action. This lack of communication and urgency is unacceptable. When I finally reached out, it took raising my voice just to get someone to check on the status of my car.The service advisors at this location have proven to be almost entirely unhelpful throughout this ordeal. Their responses often lack clarity and do not provide any reassurance about the care of my vehicle. Overall, my experience has been unpleasant and exhausting.I find myself at a breaking point with this dealership. Despite my frustrations, it seems they are the only option available for servicing my car—a vehicle that was sold to me without issues until I began bringing it here for maintenance. In conclusion, if you value your time and money, I strongly advise considering other options before choosing Sarah Hyundai service center in Trussville

I will never go to this place ever again. It's like when they see a woman come in for some repairs, dollar signs immediately go off in their eyes. Tried to charge me over $1,100 for repair on a transmission sensor and made me wait over 3 hours. I went to another place and the man told me it's a common fix on most cars and said he could fix it for half of what Serra Hyundai could. It took him all of 10 minutes to give me an estimate. You better think twice before going to Serra Hyundai in Trussville for any car repairs.

Typically if you’re taking a brand new vehicle to the service department it’s 👎🏻- HOWEVER Brian and the entire team were amazing. You can’t ask for better care. I feel like had I been at any other dealership I wouldn’t even have my vehicle back yet. 10/10 highly recommend this dealership- from start to finish.

If I could give no stars I would. I used to love taking my vehicle to this dealership. After paying a almost $200 diagnostic fee for them to say only my belts and bulbs needed to be fixed but, I had my car towed to another mechanic who could put the belts on cheaper. As soon as he opened the hood he noticed that my air compressor was dangling. THIS WAS NOT IN THE DIAGNOSTIC REPORT BTW and had just gotten towed 2 days prior. Also the bolts were broke off into the motor.All I wanted was for them to removed the broken bolts but the manager talked to me like I was stupid and referred to his Mechanic Ty as though he never has made any mistakes in his life. THEY HAVE BEEN THE ONLY PEOPLE UNDER MY HOOD SINCE REPLACING MY MOTOR. I WOULDNT ADVISE ANYONE TO GET ANYTHING FROM THIS PARTICULAR HYUNDAI BECAUSE THEY ARE LIARS AND TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR WORKERS MISTAKES.

My son's 2016 Sonata broke down on I-20 on a Friday afternoon on his way from Atlanta (where we live) to Bham. The tow truck took him to Serra. Brian checked him in, looked at the car, and told him the engine was probably dead. However, he proceeded to tell him that Hyundai should cover a replacement engine due to a lawsuit and that he would test it early the next week, and expected it to fail. Bad news but a ray of hope. Tues, Brian calls says it failed the test, Hyundai approved a new engine, he is getting the replacement ordered and would see if he could get a rental car. Called that afternoon, the engine was expected the following Wed (a week later), and a reservation for a rental car was already made. We picked up the rental on Friday, Sat afternoon Brian called and said our car was finished! The engine came in early on Friday morning and the mechanic installed it the SAME DAY! The level of care, communication, and complete job of servicing the customer was unparalleled and fully exceeded all expectations. I would fully recommend them for service and Brian is a one-of-a-kind customer advocate in the best way possible. Thank you!

Best warranty my a**, worst experience ever had my car brand new and been having problems with tires ever since a vibration at 60 went back for the same problem more then 10 times and at the end refused to replace tires even though it was brand new and having a problem, do not recommend buying a car from serra hyundai ❌

I found a vehicle that I wanted to purchase but the location is over an hour away so with my work schedule its hard to go back and forth. Went to schedule online for oil change, no dates available for desired date and time. I asked on a public page if they accepted walk ins on service, the General manager reached out to me personally, and had service reach out to me and got me in at the time I needed. When I arrived I was treated with great respect as if I was the only one there. Highly recommend!!

We’ve been looking for vehicles for a while, we've seen a lot of car salesman. Shane’s approach was much different than the others. Wanted to make sure we got what we wanted by asking questions and narrow down to exactly what we wanted but he also offered us options to get different levels of options and costs. Great communication which is a big deal. Personable with a good sense of humor. We would buy from him again. We got what we wanted at a very good price. A perfect 10.
