These guys are awesome!! I brought my car in, having bumped the plastic panel thingy on the undercarriage in a parking spot. I’m a little hesitant to say this, as I don’t want anyone to insist on getting the same price I did, but they reattached it in less than 10 minutes and didn’t charge me… wow. Really nice people, and there’s a very friendly dog in the back that might come out and say hi if you’re lucky. :)

Love this place - took care of me years ago with a tire problem (last minute and i was stuck) and just had body work done. Everything was as promised and faster than expected. Good work and good people - especially nice in today's world!

Expert mechanics, friendly staff. They offer just about any car service you need, body work, mechanical, and even detailing. Only drawback is, it's located in a crowded and cramped business district

I really went back and forth on how to write this review. I’ve only used Shaker Quality two other times to switch my summer wheels to winter wheels with no issues, fair pricing. However now that I needed real repairs I had real concerns. I called bc my car would vibrate at high speeds - they gave me an appt a few days later. I dropped the car off around 8:30/9 am. Waited at a local coffee shop until 2 pm when I gave them a call for an update. They informed me someone called out and they couldn’t get to it today but would get to it any other day that worked for me. Ok fine staffing issues happen, I would have appreciated a heads up or an earlier communication. Brought it back a few days later. Dropped it off around 8:30, by 9:30 they told me I needed new tires. Again around 2-3 pm I called asking for an update and they stated the tire people didn’t have a fourth tire in store so they couldn’t replace them today. Again, would have appreciated an earlier update. Now I bring it back a third time. Dropped it off around 12 pm, they call me at 4:30 pm saying it’s almost done. I come by, pay, and while I’m waiting the mechanic informs me they couldn’t complete the alignment because they needed a specific tool or bolt they didn’t have. I’d have to bring it back a FOURTH time now just to replace tires. When I get home I’m looking at my tires confused because they left a bunch of lubrication all over the rims and tires so I try to wipe it off when I see there’s damage to all 4 rims, underneath the tires on the very top lip. No way regular driving could have caused that damage, I know what state my rims were in. Also there was a dent on my quarter panel that wasn’t there previously. I leave them a message and they get back to me when they open wanting to make things right. I tell them I can’t just leave my car for weeks as I live alone. They offer to pay for a rental car while they service my car. It took them about another two weeks to get the rims resurfaced and the dent fixed. Now if we’re keeping count, that’s three entire weeks just to replace tires. While they did all they could to right the wrongs that happened, the car looks great now and seems to drive alright, I can’t overlook the insane inconvenience and stress this entire situation has caused me. As a side note, a different mechanic there offered to “take me to dinner” for being so patient with them. Unnecessary and made me feel uncomfortable. Likely was just a lighthearted joke but still.

I’ve always liked this place because they are in the neighborhood and always sponsor local events. I’ve taken the car in a few times and they always have everything handled. After I picked up my car this last time, it started acting up a couple miles from the shop. I called Shaker Quality and they were very understanding and apologetic. They got it towed back to the shop, figured out the issue, and got everything fixed. No additional charge for anything. I understand things don’t always work out as planned. However, they handled it honestly and gracefully. Thanks, Shaker Quality!

Best place to get your car done on the east side, reasonable pricing, didn’t take advantage like most car places do. My car drives like it’s brand NEW!!! Thanks guys for your quick service.

I have no idea the quality of their work but they are very inconsiderate of their neighbors parking 8-10 cars on the side streets and taking away parking spots for the residents

SUPERB SERVICE!!! They are lifesavers, would recommend 1000x over! Mechanics you can wholeheartedly trust. I came into town for a long weekend and my car broke down right as I left to head home to Chicago. I dropped my car off first thing in the morning and the staff was SO KIND and had my car diagnosed, fixed and returned to me before 1pm the same day!!! They were unbelievably helpful, and really did me a huge favor. They were honest about everything - transparent with pricing, what fixes are a priority/which can wait, etc. If I lived in the area I would bring my car here for all future repairs, could not say enough positive things about my experience with them!

All the employees at Shaker Quality Auto are so helpful and friendly. We have taken our cars there for everything from an oil change to custom body work! They are fair and honest and quick to respond. Rob, service manager even helped me fix a fuse - complimentary! When does that ever happen these days?!?! Thanks SQA!

Update: I hit a deer and since they had done a good job in the past I took my car there this time. There were some delays with getting parts because auto dealership computer systems had been hacked. Other than that they did a great job and were professional through the whole process. They even agreed, because of the delay, to pay for my rental car when my insurance coverage ran out! Every time they have done body work the work has been excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone. I had body work done on my car there recently when my bumper got damaged. I had taken it there before for body work as well. Both times they did an excellent job and they were super friendly, helpful and professional. My only complaint is with the towing service they have listed on their website, Kufner towing (I had the car towed in this time). The guy from kufner who answered the phone was very rude and very unprofessional. The gentleman who actually towed the car, however, was very friendly and professional.

If you're looking for honest mechanics at a good price, go here! They did maintenance on my car at half the price the dealership quoted. My daughter had done the same with the same results...plus the mechanic there realized that some of the things the dealer quoted were not needed.

Shaker Quality has never been anything other than amazing to me. I’ve been going there since I moved to Cleveland in 2020 and they are always reliable, honest, and fair. They have even gotten me in for same day oil changes and repairs on multiple occasions. Thank you for being such a lovely part of the Larchmere community!!

4/26 Update: After getting in touch with the shop and voicing my complaints, Matt M. took care of me and handled the situation extremely well. Matt was very willing to hear what I had to say and understanding of my frustrations, and apologized for my experience and all the miscommunication; he was determined to make it right. I went back, and the replacement for the part that needed repair was ordered directly from Honda and then installed, all free of charge. I’m glad we got to work things out and reach an appropriate solution. Thank you Matt for your professionalism and empathy. 4/17 Original review: Last week, my parked car was hit, which left the left rear corner scratched and the fender/mudguard dented. After comparing various shops, I decided to go with Shaker Quality because of all the good reviews I read. The next day, I took my car in to get an estimate. After inspection, the staff explained that removing and repainting the bumper is one job and then ordering and replacing the mudguard would be another, and that it would take around 2 days; the final estimate was $957.95. It’s not a small amount, but I still decided to go with it. Yesterday morning, I brought my car in for the repair and received a call today around noon telling me that it’s done. Upon picking up the car, I noticed that the paint job has been done but the mudguard was still the same dented one from before. When I informed that the mudguard was not replaced, I was told that they had instead ordered and replaced the fender part above the wheel that the mudguard attaches to. The staff insisted that it’s the exact part that was quoted on the itemized estimate and that the shop had done no wrong. So even though, during the first visit, I had personally showed and told him that I needed the paint job and the dented mudguard replaced, and he himself also took pictures of the damage, somehow it’s on me for not knowing the exact names of all the parts in order to point out a misquoted part? Essentially, I was charged for repairs that I did not ask to get, and half of the repairs I needed did not get done. I was told that maybe I could go purchase a set off Amazon and they’d install it for free; no sort of discount on what’s been done whatsoever. But why should I have to spend additional money to fix what I had already paid the shop to do? I’ve never written a review on Google ever, and I didn’t want to do this because I really wanted to like Shaker Quality, and, for whatever it’s worth, everyone whom I came across prior to the pickup was so nice, but I’d imagine it’d be upsetting for any average person to see almost $1000 go down the drain just like that. Perhaps my experience is more of an anomaly, but, nonetheless, this was a huge let down and such a waste of my money and time. If this is the only solution with which they could come up, then I won’t be back again and would not recommend anyone to get body work done here.

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL THEYBROKE THE BUICK SIGN OFF THE DRIVERS SIDE OF MY CAR STEPPING IN AND IT WASNT OFF BEFORE PLUS THEY DIDNT FIX PART OF MY VEHICLE THAT IS STILL DENTED!!! THIS PLACE TALKS TO U NICE BUT DOES AN AWFUL JOB!!!!!
