While my wife didn’t want me to leave a negative review because the mechanic wasn’t rude, I feel I need to speak up. I was charged over a thousand dollars for parts and labor, all tied to incorrect diagnoses, and my car was still not fixed. As a man, I can’t stand paying for work that didn’t solve the problem. I eventually took my car to another mechanic who fixed it in a single day. We chose this mechanic based on positive review. Be cautious using this guy, he is actively deleting negative reviews. Coward.

Normally I don't leave reviews but after my great experience with Mr. Reaves. this morning I must.I have a Nissan Maxima that kept stalling out while driving. Mr Reaves did his diagnostic and explained the electrical issues that was causing it and needed to be done and went to work.He's honest and genuine mechanic.He even pointed out my battery which I bought two months ago was bad and changed it without an added charge.His pricing is very fair and will not overcharge you like other mechanics. He's fully knowledgeable about everything pertaining to your vehicle.He now has a customer for life and will refer him to all my friends and family.

Was in an accident late last year. Called around was being quoted 15k to 25k for repairs. Called Shawn and he was able to come within an hour and a week and a half later, car was fixed for under 3k.

I had the best experience with Shawn. He was reliable, professional, and fast. My car wouldn't start up, I called Shawn, he came and quickly was able to diagnose the problem which was my starter. He was able to get me a new starter for a great price and he charged me an affordable price for the labor. I would recommend his service to anyone and everyone. I found Shawn online and he was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. My wife’s car wouldn’t start. He came to inspect it, and determined it was a bad started. He ordered the part and changed their car’s starter. Issue was fixed within two days. Great service. He’s my new go to mechanic.

My life was SAVED today… my serpentine belt broke and was tangled around the alternator. I called & He came right away and fixed my car and then tried to buy me soon food to eat. The weather today day was also freezing snow❄️ & rain… I didn’t know what I was going to do. You are lucky to find a honest and reliable good hearted mechanic these days. Shawn came to change my battery in what I would say is short notice and in that 15 minutes he educated me on basic car knowledge. I NEEDED IT!! He gave me a great price to fix my power steering pump, brought it to him and he ended up replacing a part(he can fill it the actual fix, I still have some vocabulary to learn lol) that pretty much had my engine hanging (picture below) I will definitely be returning for any further work. Customer service is 5 STARS!!!

But after to do further work on car, his phone had an issue, then he wasn't returning my calls or text.I really couldn't figure out the issue,if you couldn't assist me you could have told me initially. So after calling /texting numerous times.I told him I got the message also thanked him for diagnostic.

Shawn was so awesome and easy to work with! He fixed my passenger side mirror after someone broke it off my car one night. He was flexible and affordable, worth every penny plus tip! He get's all my future car business in this area and I will absolutely recommend him to friends, as well. I called him on a Monday and my mirror was fixed by Tuesday, plus he came to me to make the repair, which was definitely the icing on the cake.

As I was searching for 2 days for a mechanic thats experienced I came across Shawn on google and was impressed with a couple reviews with issues I thought to be the same problem I had with my Hyundai. However, my issue was completely different and Shawn took his time to get to the bottom line of the issue. With 20 minutes he was able to tell me what was the issue, educate me on everything he was touching, and came up with a great solution. I went from sad to happy back to sad but I know after all I’m going to be happy again. If you don’t know anything about a vehicle you will know just enough while he is working diagnosing you car. I recommend him to everyone.

From the day Shawn replaced my batteries. I have been stuck with him every since. Shawn can fix pretty much anything on the car. His knowledge and expertise stands out . He loves what he does and you can tell he isn't just doing the job to make money. Shawn is also very flexible whether it's coming to the location or going to his shop ,he always find ways that work for both parties.

I had a bad starter motor. Shawn was able to come to me in Park Slope, analyze the problem, and replace the motor quickly and efficiently. This saved me having to pay for a tow truck. Shawn knows his stuff and I felt like I was in very good hands. A+ service.

Weird guy never picks up his phone I’ve been calling him for days he keeps telling me he’s gonna come to the house and Newark New Jersey is not that big so why does it take him forever to come when he does come and then he never comes back when he says he supposed to come back I don’t even understand how he got people liking some of his ratingsIt must be small little dumb jobs because that is no mechanic
