The guy doesn't have a garage. He's a shade tree mechanic with a lot of memories of the things he use to work on. Gives off drug addict vibes. Not recommended

The guy seemed like a drug addict. I drove my truck to his house for repairs. Two women were outside acting really weired. The mechanic never came out to do repair. I ended up leaving. I would not recommend

I dropped my bike off for a simple tire repair on Sunday August 11th, just picked it up today Saturday August 31st. Shorty kept zero communication during the process, we dealt with a random woman instead (who I will give the credit of being very friendly). He ghosted for some time, my boyfriend and I had to show up to the address he works at to check in on my bike at least four times. To the point I no longer needed GPS to get there. He had multiple excuses as to why is was taking longer than the original five day quote time. First his grandma died, he lost his phone, Amazon shipped the wrong tire twice, and then was in a car accident and bit half his tongue off, and lost his phone again. When I finally picked the bike up, it was still on the jack and he wasn’t there and my boyfriend had to physically work to get the bike off the stand. The invoice price owed didn’t add up, the original price quoted was $325 I had already paid $140, and owed $160 without him charging $80 for the tire inner tube? The math didn’t math there? When dropped off the bike ran perfectly. On the 30 minute ride home my boyfriend had to shut it off at every single red light due to high idle, only to immediately be able to fix it when we got home, Shorty was “inspecting“ it as well. So I’m assuming he was going to say something was wrong as there was smoke coming from the exhaust from something being sprayed on it as well. All in all, don’t waste your time and save your money.

I had just bought a bike and it would start but not stay started. Long story short I had left a message for Shorty and literally the next day he called picked her up late at night and literally got her back to me within 3 days. Bike runs and drives amazing thanks Shorty customer for life!!

Tried to scam my mother with a ridiculous tow price. When confronted he claimed “I best stop” and that the price included repair. He hadn’t even seen the bike yet. Stay away at all costs

Gets the job done and reasonably priced. Communicates and will pick up and drop off for a small fee. Shorty's is very convenient and we'll worth the price.

Not sure what these other people are talking about..but Shorty is a stand up guy and he definitely knows what he's doing when it comes to Motorcycles. Shorty keeps in touch during the whole process. He goes above and beyond for his customers. Go with Shorty...you won't be disappointed!!

Had my moped took to his place to get fixed. He cannot figure out what's wrong with it. He does not know what he's doing when it comes to working on Mo pad's and he wants to I would charge you for stuff that he does not do.

I had a very simple task that needed to be done on my scooter. A bad coil and I knew this. It was just a test to see his knowledge and honesty about scooters because I'm a salesman for scooters. I have a warehouse full of used and new bikes I sell. Well I needed a mechanic for my shop that's well established except for knowledgeable mechanics. Well when I got the bike back he said it was a bad coil and cdi. But he said he replaced both with new parts. I checked after I got it back. For one the cdi was the same and he put in the wrong size coil and it was used. I spent 220 dollars for the test I gave him and he failed. Plus there was damage on the right side of my scooter that wasn't there before I gave it to him. It was the bottom of the floor on the side underneath that had a 2 inch hole cracked into the body. Do not take your vehicles to this guy. He's not at all honest and he may cause more damage trying to fix whatever with used parts.

He told me he would install my exhaust for $300.00. And $40.00 for pick up and delivery. I paid him the $340.00. It took him over a week, would not answer my text. I took over my headlight and asked him if he would fix my blinkers and install my light. When he was done he wanted another $250.00 plus another delivery fee. He did not put my exhaust on correctly, my center kickstand drags the ground when I turn. Now I have to pay someone else to do the job correctly. And I had to fix the blinkers myself. He said the $300.00 was diagnostic fee. How the hell was there a diagnostic fee when we talked about installing the exhaust. I will never take him another bike nor would I recommend anyone that does that shoddy of work. They complimented on how clean my bike was, when I got it back it had greasy finger prints and hand prints on every thing.

If you want your motorcycle fixed right then do not I repeat do mot take your bike to shorts they do bad work and will want you to pay him in advance trust me I would let a blind monkey work on my bike before I send it to shirtys

Priced way too high. The guy wants $300 up front just to even take a look at my scooter. Whether he has to fix it or not. Then said that the three hundred doesn't even go towards fixing it that it's just to diagnose the issue. Wouldn't even listen to me explanation of what I was experiencing with my scooter. Just said, " bring me $300 and drop the scooter off and I'll find out what's wrong with it." And then what?, charge me another $300 to fix it? Nope. I wouldn't trust it. Especially when nobody even knows this guy. Smh. Get it together. If you're gonna be a business man, do good business.

I hope you are reading this review prior to having Shorty's perform any type of maintenance to your motorcycle. My girlfriend’s motorcycle was broken down on the side of the road with few options available. Called Shorty's (w/o having read reviews) and they were happy to pick the bike up and repair it provided they were given $300 up front. And so the nightmare began. Weeks and weeks and many excuses later the motorcycle was done. They agree to trailer the motorcycle to my girlfriends house. There the dude explained that the carburetor had to be rebuilt 8 times. When I challenged the need to rebuild any carburetor 8 times, the dude started mumbling about how lucky we were that they were only changing an additional $200, which had to be paid in cash, before he would unload the bike and how lucky we were because they had over $1000 in labor on this job. Asked for itemized bill and his response was they would mail it the following day. It has been a couple of months and guess what, never received the itemized bill. After some further discussion the dude took $20 off of the $200. Paid the additional money only to get a motorcycle back that you could barely start and keep running and now missing several parts off the motorcycle itself as well! Needless to say, I hope to share this experience with anyone who will listen!!!

Ripped me off. Dropped of my bike was told it would be looked at in a couple days. A month later, nothing. No communication no work in the bike. And of course $300 non refundable. Dont use this guy.

Showed up at his house w a minutes notice. I was out of town and would have been stranded. He took up his whole night driving me around to auto parts store until we found the part and completed the work in the dark. Highly recommend!!!

Gave this guy my bike for 3 weeks and $300 bucks, wasn't working when I gave it to him (had been idle for a while) and after 3 weeks had to go back to college and went to pick up my bike only to realize after I had brought it to college with me that he bought the wrong battery (didnt fit the bike) mad some quick swaps in parts to make it look like he had worked on it but never actually did... after everything, I basically spent 300 for this guy to do nothing but buy the wrong size battery for my bike. Would not recommend, v sketch guy, and would not take back to him. now i gotta find somewhere else to take it to get it actually fixed...
