I took my car there around 11am Wednesday 8/14/24 with a concern that my alternator may be going out. and just picked my car up today 8/21/24 w/ no invoice. My car was NEVER looked at. On my initial visit I told worker Brandon that my battery light comes on after awhile while I am driving. He hooked some machine up and we determined that it may be the alternator and that my alternator was over charging. I called Friday asking for an update and was told that they received the wrong part and waiting to receive the correct part for my car. I called Tuesday and still had not received my part which is the alternator. I called this morning and he said they are stilling waiting on my part to come in. About 2:40 Today I received a call from him stating that my power steering pump is going out and that’s the reason I am having other issues. I asked how much did I owe believing that I at least had to pay the diagnostic fee. He said no charge. So I arrive and ask would he be able to print out what he had found and he did not stating that it would create an invoice 🧾 which would indicate that my car was looked at. He also said that he never put the new alternator on because of this power steering issue which maybe an issue, but if so why not print it out for me? Because he never looked at my car. So my car sat for 7 days and I was inconvenienced because I too have to work and my car was never looked at. Very dismissive with me which not sure why as you had my car for 7 days and NEVER looked at it! TF is wrong with people!!

It is EXTREMELY rare that I leave a review, especially a negative review. However; the complete lack of overall service, has left me totally flabbergasted! I had my truck towed here on 8/14/24 by AAA, because a Traction Control indicator light came on. I picked my truck up today 9/3/24, nearly three weeks later....only to discover they did not even look at my truck AT ALL, during the entire 3 weeks it was there! There was NO sensor reading, NO checking under the hood, NO checking the engine of any kind for that matter!! They didn't even open the doors to my truck, let alone attempt to fix anything. I have called several times over the course of these 3 weeks, and every time I've called I was told, "they would give me a call with an update, once they got around to it". The thing is, THEY NEVER GOT AROUND TO IT!! Even when I picked my truck up today...there was no greeting upon entering. As a matter of fact, they didn't say too much of anything AT ALL!! When I asked questions about my truck, one of the guys just pointed in the direction of the other guy...who just handed me my keys. There were no apologies given, no questions answered, no questions asked, no have a nice day, no sorry for any inconvenience.....absolutely nothing! And the thing is... I wasn't too concerned about anything else really, my only concern was getting my truck fixed. That's all! I have 3 children, at 3 different schools, that all have the same start times and end times, and whom are all car riders. My point is... I need reliable transportation to be able to get to my children and work everyday!! It was bad enough that I had to go 3 weeks without my truck...but to find out that they didn't even look at it, at all!! That was just adding insult to injury! I understand that they could've been very busy, but SAY THAT if that's the case! To say absolutely nothing at all, not even apologize for any inconvenience or anything of the sort... is just rude, disrespectful, and overall distasteful! If I could give NEGATIVE STARS or ZERO STARS, I absolutely would. This place will NEVER get my business ever again. I STRONGLY recommend that you DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, or your money with these people like I did....they don't seem to want to work anyways.

Very helpful. Sometimes too busy to help. Happy with the service though. Cost is reasonable. Will continue to use their service .

I am coming here for everything. Another corporate garage wanted to replace my air compressor for AC for $1,200. I took it to Shuffit's and they said: "There was a just a plug out of place, it works fine now." They charged me nothing. Shout out to Brandon! It's very good to know not everyone is out to rob you.

I had my car towed there for a flashing check engine light. After a couple days they diagnosed my car as having a cracked head. After having the car towed to another shop for a 2nd opinion it was determined in about 5 minutes that it was simply a bad ignition coil. Mechanic was baffled how they came up with their diagnosis. Not sure how they are an AAA approved repair facility. Buyer beware if you need your car serviced here.

0 out of 10 service would not recommend. Wasted 1,000$ for a fix that did not even fix my car slightly. Said they ran an engine check and diagnosed the problem, and diagnosed it COMPLETELY wrong. They don’t know what they’re talking about or doing…SAVE YOUR MONEY and go to autozone

Took my car in for inspection and they diagnosed it completely wrong, they put the reader in supposedly and told me what I needed for my car to be fixed…paid 800$ , brand new parts, COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. They made me pay for parts that did not help my car in any aspect. Horrible service and extremely long wait just for me to waste my money and have to buy a whole new car. Go to auto zone and do yourself a favor. They will tell you what’s wrong and fix it in HOURS, not a week. SHUFFITTS is a complete waste of money. Don’t buy the dudes wrecked mustang either he’s trying to rob you for more money. The place is a joke

Got a new battery and alternator put on and 3 weeks later the car is completely dead. Needing a jump as I type this. My headlight was busted when I returned to pick up the car. No accountability for my headlight be busted and still had to pay over 600.00 for battery and alternator. Back to the dealership for now on for me.

I only performed basic maintenance on my Honda Pilot for 15 years. When the engine light came on and my car stuttered, I knew something was wrong. Took it up to Shuffitt's and they got it sorted. Turned out it was actually two problems. Once everything was fixed, I went ahead and had them do the 100K maintenance on it and change the shocks. Now, it drives better than it has in 10 years. Car maintenance ain't cheap, but it was worth every dollar here. Excellent work, and they kept me informed. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

I’ve been bringing my cars to Shuffitt’s for 6 years now and they’ve always handled their business very well. Never had a problem they weren’t honest about. Even when I was prepared to pay for a repair, they advised me it wasn’t worth the trouble and to let the car go, rather than seeking payment. Very professional and fast service

Regarding Shuffitts automotive dishonest and deceptive practices with unacceptable customer service. We have been customers of shuffits automotive for almost 10 years and always received great service. I had a flat tire two weeks ago and I stopped by to get the tire fixed and was told that I would need a new tire. I was quoted the price of $123 for the one tire. I was going to be out of town the next week so my husband took my car for the replacement of one tire. Instead Brandon shuffitt ordered four new tires and replaced all four tires on my car without my authorization and charged me over $500. When this was brought to his attention he denied my saying that I only wanted one tire and replaced all four of them and there was nothing he can do about that now. I had bought new tires just a few months before this and they were not in need of replacement. Very very very poor customer service. We will not be returning!!

These guys were incredible! We are traveling and had a flat tire up the road. After calling 6 different shops the mechanic answered and talked us through why our spare was stuck (eroded winch). We drove verrrry slowly on the tire and made it to the shop where we were treated with kindness and helpfulness. This shop had 4 used tires and one of us asked about it… well wouldn’t you know it, one of those tires fit on our vehicle. Fate 💕 We are back on the road and able to enjoy our weekend. Thank you for your help and service!

20 years ago, a tire flew off my van, and rolled several blocks, landing at Shuffitt's, since then, they've been my go to mechanic! Are they the cheapest in town? Maybe not, but you can be sure to get excellent service, honesty, and clear expectations. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Had an unexpected engine issue 2 1/2 hours from home and they made it a priority. The mechanic and young man behind the counter were fantastic this morning and had it resolved in an hour. I could tell their shop was extremely busy due to the amount of vehicles and appreciate their Louisville hospitality for me and my daughter just trying to get home after 5 nights at LTL. These two didn't act like we were a burden and I highly recommend this businesses services if you are ever in the area.

Honest! They did not find anything wrong with my vehicle and they said that honestly. They cleaned rear brakes and swapped them, however, did not charge any money.

I felt I had an issue with my car that needed to be diagnosed. I spoke with Brandon to set up an appointment, and I was able to drop my car off within a day. I thought I had a wheel bearing issue, which is quite expensive, but Brandon found no issue and just recommend new tires, which I knew I needed. Within the day, he had four new tires put on at a great price! I’m an out of state student, so I haven’t found a reliable mechanic in the area. I have a lot of respect for honesty and efficiency, and these guys have gained a new customer! Thanks a lot!

Took my vehicle there for fuel pump replacement. While the work was quick and quality, the price was horrendous. $1400 for a fuel pump!! They need to stop charging such prices for parts!
