Had a problem with an oil leak and the front end. They fixed both - not the cheapest in town, but you get what you pay for. I'm happy with the service I got on my 14 year old, 180,000 mile Town and Country - glad I went there.

What a pleasure to work with Shymske’s! They took great care of my vehicle when I took it in for a tune up and they even came in UNDER the price they quoted me. They told me honestly what needed done and what didn’t, and had it all done promptly. As a woman especially, I’m very aware of how rare it is to find a mechanic shop without egos who deal with integrity. I was impressed with them in every regard and highly recommend them!

Changed my front headlight in less than a half hour and only charged $30. Conrad’s wanted $250 labor and parts because they claimed headlight was in difficult location. Shymskes confirmed it was not. Very honest and very reasonably priced.

Fantastic Service that is honest and very knowledgeable. No matter if you just need an oil change or something that is more involved with your vehicle, I would highly recommend taking it to Dave and his crew! Affordable and honest!!

I needed MAJOR repairs done to my car, and my usual mechanic had retired. I got a recommendation from a friend to try Shymske's. I was nothing but completely impressed! Dave and his crew are amazing! They communicated so well with me and explained all of the repairs. The car was finished quicker than I had expected, the price was fair for the amount of work I had done, and they even gave me a computer printout of some factory recalls that were active for my vehicle. Professional, reliable, honest, and welcoming. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

Dave and and Dan are super nice and friendly. They do good, honest work at a fair price. I'm not surprised they are always booked a week or two out. Word of mouth is king. They are my new go to for car things. Good vibes. Good energy.

Got an alternator and a batterie charge for about 500! Im happy!! Even offered to drive me to work after I dropped my car off since I work right down the road. Price was good! Dave was very nice. I would go there again.

Yes, 5 stars. Why? They are HONEST, REASONABLE, and KNOWLEDGEABLE. I took a few vehicles to them where they could have taken advantage of me. One was a Toyota 4Runner where the tire place we (used to go to) advised us of 1200$ of "needed" repairs...both CV joints and outer tie rod ends. Shymske's removed a GIANT BOLT from a tire, balanced and rotated. The vehicle has a slight "shimmy" because the tires are worn out junk. They could have said something similar to the tire place, but DIDN'T. The second Vehicle was a RUST-FREE California vehicle that I spun a bearing on. They replaced the engine with a young, used engine. A few weeks later, the crankshaft sensor opened. They could have made up.....whatever...and I would have believed it. Instead, they pulled the old sensor from the extra parts from my old engine that gave me back and that I left in the trunk for FREE. Unless someone has a gun to the back of my head and tells me not to, I will take everything there. EDIT: 4 years after the original post; this is STILL the ONLY PLACE I take anything to, unless it's covered by a MFG Warranty (NOT likely). If they ever close I'll have to move!

They absolutely ROBBED me. I’m a 29 year old female. And they totally took advantage of my lack of knowledge, they charged me almost $900 for a new exhaust, and the man working on my car said I also needed a wheel barring…they were going to charge me &450 for one wheel barring! I just took my car to another shop, to get my wheel barring done and it costed me $150. They also told me that I could have gotten my exhaust replaced with them for HALF the price of what this place charged. Beyond disgusted!
