I just had my annual inspection and I have to say the staff was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. They have helped me on a number of occasions and I highly recommend this station for all your auto needs. If they can’t help you they recommend folks who can.

I was able to get the appointment time I wanted. I also used a loner car provided by the shop which was very convenient. My car was ready for pickup earlier than expected. Staff is professional and helpful.

The communication with the techs is almost non-existent and a bit of a hostage negotiation. Almost all the repair communication is handled by an app where you have to read between the lines for what's essential. In the past I repeatedly brought up warrantied parts in person and asked if anything was covered and they said they would look into it. Then later they charged me full replacement and never mentioned it. You just get a full price quote in an app with no notes and no proactive communication from the apathetic desk tech. When I have come in for inspections once they have decided that a repair is necessary (unrelated to the safety inspection) they won't pass your car based on their subjective opinion until they get whatever work they thought they were going to get. We will not be using them again for any of our family vehicles, and I would not recommend them. Edit: In response to the comment, the previous issue with the lifetime brake pads was raised when I scheduled the appointment and again when I dropped off the car. No explanation was provided in terms of whether or not there was a warranty. No additional information was provided to answer any of my questions. Clearly there were no notes shared from the desk tech. In regard to the power steering, any leak is minor, not visible on the driveway under the car, and I couldn't find it in the engine with a flashlight. There has not been any noise while driving. I drive without the radio on. While I can acknowledge there may be things I can't see, when I asked if they could top off the fluid or address the leak, I was told very clearly that I needed the full $2,500 repair including replacing the rack and pinion system or they would not pass my car for the annual inspection. I tried three different times to explore alternatives, and the communication was absolutely heavy-handed. The communication in response to this review is more than I have received in all of the repairs/maintenance with all of my family vehicles in the last year.

The folks at Six Forks Station Exxon are always good to work with. Had to coordinate a re-inspection this time due a tire issue, but was able to get that done efficiently.

Had been given a jump start so was able to drive to station. The battery was old and needed replacement. The new battery installed quickly while we waited (even received credit for time on old battery). Six Forks Service consistently delivers quality customer support. Thanks
