Used SK Auto for my first and only oil change on my brand new 2024 Honda. Just tried getting a second oil change at a Jiffy Lube and they are telling me they can't get off the skid plate because the place I took it to stripped the lug nuts. Thanks SK Auto for ruining what should be an easy maintenance trip to get an oil change.

Went in for a SMOG check. David was courteous and the time was fast. Paid my biil,got my paperwork and David was kind enough to open the door and walk me out to my car. As I am disabled, he brought the car to the curb for me, put my walker in the back seat and I was gone. Great service, and they will be my auto repair place going forward. Been there a few times for oil changes. Recently after a break job and oil change, check engine and track off light came on. Brought it back to the shop they wanted 140 dollars to plug in a computer and tell me the problem. Decided no not paying that, ended up getting the computer myself for 60 bucks read the code appears to be a thermostat issue. Would have paid whatever the repair was. I found a coupon a day later for the check engine light diagnosis for half the price at this place. So there you go make you choice. You want to get ripped off by a shop this is the one. Going to find another shop.

My younger sister called this place to make an appointment for an oil change. She doesn’t have much knowledge about cars, engine and such. Instead of helping her, he would get irritated and tried to charge her 100$ for an oil change. It’s ridiculous for auto shop to lack the patients for a costumer who may not know much about vehicles, and taking advantage of that to rip her off. Disgusting.

My husband & I had our Ford suv serviced here today. They replaced our brake booster & gave us an oli change, topped off the other fluids. We dropped the suv off and they had the work done the very next day! Then when I went to pay & pick the suv up it was a smooth & quick transaction. I spoke with a worker his name was Alex and he was very friendly. He explained the work that was done before having me pay. I would definitely send my vehicle back here!!!

Says they need to replace the ignition coils on my mother in laws car for a tune up. Being a certified GM tech. I have never heard of this in my 20 years. Seems like a way for them to make more money on parts since the customer is already paying for the tune up. Would not recommend going here.

Came in with service engine soon light on. They decided not to do a diagnostic test and change the spark plugs and wanted to do replace all fluids, quoting me over $1200… I decided to get the spark plugs done ($600), a day later the light came back on and could not start the suv. Long story short, it was 3 sensors that needed to be replace, cost was $600 total, suv drives fine now. Highly recommend to shop around first…Very disappointed.

It was my first time here, and it was a nice experience. No appointment necessary for an oil change and smog check, I was in and out in less than an hour .... no wait maybe a little more, if at all, because I locked my keys inside my car and they immediately came to my rescue 🛟 and open up my truck in no time. Thank you so much SK Auto Repair! ❤️ On top of all this I got a $20 discount just for the asking (senior discount).

I’m writing this review on behalf of my grandpa he’s been going to this auto place for years weather it’s an oil change or a quick break fix, but one thing I notice of his visits they over price him weather it’s labor fees or not it’s to expensive each time. He recently been back for a simple window fix his window doesn’t go up and since the rain he needed the quick fix, first he had called they told him they were busy at the moment but to still bring it in and that they would get someone on it as soon as possible 2-3 hours go by and they called us back saying his motor and regulator needed to be fix and it was gunna be 439.00, we got the car back cause we couldn’t make that payment no way we could for a simple window fix yet when we brought the car home my dad looked at it first thing he notice they never took off the door panel to even look to see if it was the motor or regulator everything was fine what the problem was the door control switch that was it, went and bought that for 71$ fixed it myself saved over 300 dollars safe to say, we will never be going back. YouTube and the tools you have will be your best bet

The front desk guy very rude, after I complained about waiting for 1:30 for the oil change which I made an appointment.. he said he didn't have the filter, instead of saying I am sorry for the delay he said" I can care less about your complain" . I never coming back. 0 stars

The service, professionalism, and over-all experience when dealing with the staff at SK Auto Repair was refreshing. Auto repairs can be stressful and expensive. They did excellent work and charged a very reasonable fee and looked at another issue that came up during repair. I would recommend SK to anyone that needed a reliable, professional repair service.
