Sky Transmission was recommended to me and I'll definitely recommend them. I had transmission issues on my GMC Sierra and they were very willing to help. These guys had my truck back on the road in less than 2 days.

I definitely recommend Sky Transmission. They did a repair to my daughter Wangler today when she was in a rush to get back on the road. They had to weld the track bar bracket on the front axle of her mail jeep so she could be back delivering mail the next day. These guys understand how to take care of their customers. They do way more than just transmissions

I had a transmission bench built for a project. Project got trashed and when finally installed trans it had no overdrive and low fluid pressure. Was supposed to be a stage 2. Took to another shop. When they tore it down it was clear they only replaced gaskets and clutches. The conversation they posted was from the project that got cancelled. The trans was put into a 2002 avalanche. And had no pressure. Overdrive and hesitant to pull.

Sky transmission has been a great help for me. I’ve had them put in a new transmission for my Ford Edge and they did a fantastic job. I also am a mail carrier and when I bought my Jeep wrangler it wouldn’t go over 35mph. I thought it was going to need a new transmission. I took it to Sky Transmission and they tracked down the issue and turned out to be in lymph node because the wheel sensors weren’t communicating. They had it running within 2 days. My Jeep is very important for my work. They saved me a lot of time and money by not having to put a new transmission in. They are great guys and great doing business with. Definitely would recommend.

Was told I have a bad transmission jeep was going in limp mode 4800 later transmission replaced still goes in limp mode now told it's a rear end yes I told you to check it out even asked what would cause this issue would not recommend this place bad buisness

Brought my modified Pontiac Firebird here with intermittent transmission issues. Due to the intermittent nature of the problem, and the fact that the car's mechanicals had been upgraded over the years diagnosing the issue was quite the challenge. Justin and his team at Sky didn't back down, they kept working on it, until they found the issue, and were very honest and upfront about what they had found and what they were doing. Despite the challenge and time the team had put into it, they stuck to the prices they had quoted me, kept me informed on progress, and made great recommendations to help save cost, and improve the car's drivability. Honest, cost conscious, and knowledgeable. These guys are fantastic!

Fellow shop owner that used them to rebuild a transmission that no parts store could get, had it rebuilt in no time and helped with programming. Went far beyond what was expected. Will be using them for every single GM transmission we install!!!

They stand behind there work hands down. My torque converter began to fail within days of the warranty on my full rebuild and I was dreading making the call assuming I was going to take a hit. Nope, they replaced everything no questions asked. I was in the mechanic business for while and know why people might be apprehensive to trusting any shop. I can say from experience, you can trust these guys without reservations.

STOP. Before coming here, i took my vehicle to other high-rating locations who wanted to charge astronomical prices. These guys were not only fair in their quotes, but they did phenomenal work in record time. I've never been so impressed with a repair copany. They treated me very kindly, and went above and beyond. I have came to know the employees at sky transmissions personally, and have been beyond satisfied with their work. At any point, they not only fixed my project but answered any of my questions along the way. They are very informative and knowledgeable when it comes to vehicle work in general. They can handle more than just transmission repairs as they have worked on 3 of my Cadillac ctsv’s at this point. I wouldn’t trust just any one with one of my cars. This is why I chose sky transmissions to help me achieve my race car goals.

Sky Transmission and Automotive has proven to be the worst automotive repair company I have ever worked with. The transmission in my 2011 Mustang began having issues, and I purchased a low mileage (+/-40k) transmission through another company to be installed by Sky Transmission. Upon receiving my car, the vehicle was throwing a check engine light and leaking transmission fluid, inevitably leaving me stranded two hours away. When contacted, Sky transmission was willing to take a second look at the vehicle, for a charge, and I was essentially told that it is likely a failing transmission (which was not the case, as the transmission is operating perfectly after being reseated and checked with the correct fluid level). Upon hearing this, I inspected the vehicle myself, to which I noticed the upstream 02 sensor pinched inside of the transmission. Despite paying for a vehicle diagnosis, sky transmission failed to do their job and I had to have another shop reseat the transmission and replace the damaged 02 sensor. After receiving my car and paying upwards of four hundred dollars in related repairs, I called Sky Transmission and provided documented proof that they caused the issue. Jeff verbally admitted several times throughout the duration of the call that he is aware his shop damaged the 02 sensor and caused the issue but would not do anything at all to make the situation right. I was told that had I taken it to sky transmission a third time they would have fixed it free of charge, but this is grossly misleading. Not only did Sky Transmission cause the original issue, but they were paid to diagnose the vehicle and still did not notice or offer to do anything regarding the pinched sensor, including covering the price of the part only. I have attached to this review a picture of the damage caused by Sky Transmission, along with a receipt for the installation performed by Sky Transmission. I'm disgusted with the whole interaction and wouldn't recommend Sky Transmission for any automotive or transmission related work. 5-4-24 UPDATE It appears as if Sky Transmission has taken the route of spinning their story on Facebook to save face and block me from responding. Sky Transmission also decided to delete all responses to this review, after I shot down every argument, question, excuse they tried to provide. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding the incident. I have also taken action with the Better Business Bureau and will continue to do so. My message is crystal clear, avoid Sky Transmission. 5-4-24 UPDATE Leaving a 5 star review on your own business is a little shady don't you think? Funny you mention my buddies leaving bad reviews but I never told a single person to leave a bad review nor do I see any bad reviews except for mine and another man with a fuel issue that I don't know anything about. If you actually cared about resolving any of this you'd call me instead of hashing this out over social media. I don't condone anyone saying anything about Sky Transmission that doesn't have personal experience, and unfortunately I do have that experience. Like I said, there are no contradictions and I can answer any questions you have. 5-5-24 UPDATE I'm not going to continue to engage in useless back and forth dialogue with a company that refuses to stand behind their customers. I know the truth, the transmission was never replaced by anyone but Sky Transmission who in turn caused damage and refuses to do anything about it. Why write a bad review on Sky Transmission if a different shop caused the damage? That's nonsensical. If the agreement states what you claim then so be it, but I'm allowed to voice my opinion on what I deem to be bad business practices. I don't wish for this to go any further. Do with that what you wish and have a great day.

Sky transmissions is a go to place! Honest hard working and prompt services! If your vehicle goes in this place not running, Justin makes sure it runs before it comes back to you! My truck didn’t run for over two years because of another local shop and within 3 weeks of going to sky transmissions my truck was running and I couldn’t be more happy! Thanks Justin!

Honest, transparent, and informative. These guys have a lot of knowledge and will do everything they can to fix your problems, while being perfectly willing to give you as much (or as little) information as you need on the service being performed. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better shop.
