I have been using Rob for my auto needs for some time and I can say that coming to know Rob and Smart Automotive was the best thing to happen to me as far as car service goes. Today, I had been to Smart Automotive to get a second opinion on the repairs suggested by the dealer for my vehicle. Had I gone ahead with the dealer's recommendations, I would've ended up spending around $5000. Rob did an honest assessment and recommended that nothing is required at the moment and even explained when things may need to get replaced. Highly recommend Smart Automotive and Rob for any auto mechanic needs and for any second opinions on dealer suggested repairs. Trust me, it will help avoid you getting ripped off by dealers.

I wish I lived closer so Rob could be my mechanic. I had Rob inspect a used classic car for me that I was considering purchasing. Rob took his time to review every part of the vehicle and then spent time with me explaining what he found and shared his opinion of each item. It's clear Rob knows cars and knows how to treat customers properly. 100% would recommend. Great experience.

I won't go anywhere else. Not only was the service trustworthy and speedy, but they are more affordable than most other mechanics I've been to. Genuinely an amazing place to bring your cars.

Rob the owner is a honest, reliable, informative and excellent mechanic. I highly recommend Smart Automotive. I took my car to a dealership for an oil change for them to tell me my car needed thousands of dollars worth of repairs. My husband said there's no way that's accurate and not to let the dealership touch my car. So I took it to Rob for a second opinion and the bill was only a few hundred. Most of the things the dealership said my car needed, it didn't.

Grandma and Papa are really nice and cool and their the best business in the world!! Grandmas name is Deanna and papas is rob! Papa works on the cars for Smart prices!!!!! I love them 😁🥰

I cannot speak highly enough about Smart automotive. Rob and Deanna run a wonderful honest business. I had two different shops tell me I needed a transmission in my 2008 Impala. It would have cost me over $3,000 had I not taken my car into Rob and have him check it out for me. He did the repair for under $100. This is not the first time that Smart automotive has taken care of us. We have used this wonderful company for over 15 years and will continue to do so. Can 't believe I've been coming here for years and haven't written a review. Smart Automotive was a goldmine, a godsend, for me. In the first 10-15 years of my adult life I can pinpoint very specific financial setbacks, before I ever had any stability in life, due to various bad car issues and ripoffs I endured. A friend clued me in to Rob years ago and I haven't had a worry or a major issue since. He and his wife are helpful, knowledgeable, dependable, affordable and honest.

The previous reviews already express all the good things I was going to say. I'm a 20 year plus customer of Rob and Dianna and my 97 Dakota will be joining their 400,000 mile club in another 24,000 miles thanks to their outstanding work. Finding a reputable business with a highly knowledgeable and experienced mechanic that is honest and fair almost to a fault is like winning the lottery. It's hard to describe how it feels to be virtually stress free when it comes to maintaining and repairing my truck. I find it an enjoyable experience every time Rob calls to let me know up front what he found and what it will cost. No surprises. Rob enjoys what he does and it shows. He is highly trained, confident in himself and stands behind his work one hundred percent of the time. I also immensely appreciate the quick turn around times as I only have the one vehicle for my own business. I have been recommending Smart Automotive and will continue as the opportunities arise. They are good people that live and run their business by the "Treat others as you would like to be treated" Golden Rule. How precious is that?

My wife introduced me to Rob and his team about ten years ago. I was hesitant at first, especially with all the mechanics out there looking to gouge you on services. But from the first time I brought my car to him, Rob has always been upfront and honest. Where other places wanted to charge me thousands of dollars for unnecessary replacements, Rob only focuses on the present and the truly necessary. I have never met a mechanic like Rob. He is trustworthy, reliable, and someone who we value with our car. Thank you for always being there for myself and my wife with our car needs.
