The service was quick to schedule, flexible and responsive. However, they replaced our rotors without mentioning anything but the brakes, so we spent more than expected. When asked about this, they said it is standard to replace rotors when changing brakes which has not been my experience with any other car place. Otherwise, I would give 5 stars for everything else.

Brought my 2016 (new to me) Jaguar XF in to diagnose coolant smell and squeaking noise. I only had the car for 2 months and things just weren't feeling or sounding right to me. I had already taken it back to the dealership I bought it from with concerns of an oil leak and other issues, they claimed it was fine. When taking it to SMI they did find the oil leak and the coolant leak and the noise I was hearing was the oil leaking on my belts and pulleys. Miguel explained everything to me that was wrong what needs replaced and should be replaced and why. He was very detailed with information. Given the amount of items being replaced the price was actually very reasonable for it all. Miguel was kind and understanding from start to finish and called me to update me as my car did take longer than expected to get back and he explained why the delay. But the communication helped me plan for not having it so I wasn't upset by the extended timing. Things happen and the communication was key for me. Got my car back and I haven't felt this good driving it since I bought it in October. Glad I found them!

I have an import (2018 Jaguar XE. I don’t drive it very often so, it has relatively low mileage, considering the year it was built. I purchased the program car from a local dealer. It wasn’t exactly the vehicle I needed but it was pretty sweet at the moment. I purchased the vehicle in 2019 and I haven’t experienced any major issues. I did have a manufacturer limited warranty and purchased service agreement as well. The vehicle is paid off and the warranty has expired. I wasn’t entirely displeased with the dealer service, but something always felt like, I wasn’t being informed of timely changes to my warranty, Covid didn’t help. I was quoted by the dealership last October ‘23, $1200 worth of work to be done on my vehicle January 2024. I have the service explanation, itemizing each repair and service. Change the oil, rotate the tires, and a fuel injection service, miscellaneous service charge $250. I understand the dealership is usually higher but kinda get what you pay for, sometimes. I looked around asked some questions and settled on SMI. The brief snow delayed my experience by a week. SMI got my vehicle, changed the oil and rotated the tires very reasonably ($). The service representative ran a diagnostic test to determine the check engine light. I’m very satisfied with the professionalism, and service from all. I’ll be a customer as long I have the Jaguar. Thanks again.

This was my first experience with SMI Automotive and the quality of work done on my car was top notch. The customer service was hands down the best experience I’ve had in a long time with an automotive company. They pin pointed the issue with my car amongst other things and fixed the issues. I will definitely take my car back to them and would highly recommend.
