DISABLED & ELDERLY RATING F--. I took my car here on neighbors recommendation. There were multiple things that needed attention. However, I emphasized that my rear hatchback door had frozen shut & that needed to be repaired first. I am disabled & it must work because that's how I load/ unload a take apart wheelchair & walker. I mentioned that multiple times. (And they could see my walker trapped in the boot if they needed reminding) I also told them additional information that could help them find where it broke more easily. But when I picked it up everything was done EXCEPT THE ONE THING I TOLD THEM I ABSOLUTELY NEEDED. Their explanation was they had no idea where it was in the wiring between door & engine & would cost $152 an hour to find. (Completely ignoring info that it was broken somewhere with wires to rear window defroster) No call, nothing. If they had told me they refused to do work in order I requested I would have gone elsewhere, but they told me AFTER they had taken it upon themselves to not do the requested essential work & repair everything else with a 4 figure bill. I've tried to speak with the general manager but have never been connected when I've called. And they've had the audacity to send me texts about other work they found that I needed to have done! Never addressing what they didn't do. And they broke the driver's seat, gave it back that way. If you are disabled & you need work done that will affect your ability to load/unload your mobility equipment UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE IT HERE. Ask yourself this: what kind of business blatantly takes advantage of the weakest among us?

I was able to book an appointment easily online. The staff was courteous and helpful. They gave me an estimated time that my service would be done, and they beat it by 15 minutes. All in all it was a good experience.

Brought our 2017 Honda CRV in for synthetic oil change. They found and replaced air and cabin filters that were dirty. Tires rotated. Excellent staff. Bill Driver pleasure to work with. Have been doing all of our services for 44 years.

replaced windshield wiper motor that is prevalent problem to Chevy trailblazer. Glad wipers no longer activate at random. As always, SMI is the place to take your vehicles for consistent dependable and quality repair work— especially when the vehicles are decades old like ours.
