Genuinely caring and honest auto shop. I previously went to the Volvo dealership in Louisville where they told me I needed over $2k worth of "work". Fortunately, I discovered Smith Imports. They took the time to check everything thoroughly and reported back that my Volvo had no issues. It's a good reminder that dealerships stay in business by overcharging for "repairs". Even though Smith Imports took the time to look over my vehicle, they didn't charge me. And this was not a walk-in. I had to schedule several days in advance. Great to see an honest shop staying busy and still making time to help without an upsell. Highly recommended.

Wanted to give a huge shout out to the men down at Smith Imports. I just bought a car, has the check engine light come on literally the next day. This morning they had my car in and out of there within 3 hours for a vacuum leak and it runs beautifully. I will for sure be going back to them!

This is the best service for your car that you could possibly want. I have been going here for my regular maintenance for over 25 years. My last car went for over 300'000 miles and would have gone longer had it not been involved in an unfortunate accident that was caused by another driver. I highly recommend this business to do their diligence to protect your vehicle forever. Current vehicle is over 130'000 and I plan to drive it as long as it lasts.

I called them last night and they were able to squeeze my car in for repairs this morning! They took care of it quickly and for a very reasonable price! They are fair, honest, and great mechanics! I am very thankful for them and the amazing work that they do! If you are looking for a mechanic, I would call them and let them take care of your car!!

Took my car to get repaired here and two days after getting it fixed its worse than when I brought it in and paid $800. I was told “It’s like new” when literally none of the symptoms went away and new ones started showing up. It’s disappointing to have to rework my whole schedule again, wait, and cough up some more dough just on the chance that they might get it fixed right this time, all while wondering If I’m gonna break down at any moment…Seems like a giant rip off in my experience.

Have 2005 Prius that needed a HV battery replaced. Mark gave me the address of a specialty shop that rebuilds those batteries. He was helpful and prompt. Great experience.
