Smitty's has gone so far above and beyond with my vehicle it's rediculous! I myself am a service Tech in the rv industry and know exactley what proper customer service is as well as the work ethic itself, I've been in the service industry for 13 years and have NEVER had service like I've experienced with the guys over there!!! BACK STORY- tranny went in my 2014 silverado and was at another shop closer to where I live and after 2 MONTHS!!!!! of getting the run around and told they were starting the work "tomorrow" literally over 10 times I called SMITTYS and had a wrecker haul my truck to smittys. Told me when they would get to it and called before any ANY WORK WAS DONE with proper diagnosis! And while no customer should expect a turn around time like this with a total trans rebuild in any way shape or form, my truck was DONE WITHIN 48 HOURS!!! Rediculous turn around time!!! Once again folks DO NOT think this means your vehicle will be done in 48 hours however they did it, and I couldn't be more grateful!!!!!!!!! Will always do business with them regardless of "who's cheaper" .... their work ethic and customer service is so far beyond excellent I wish I could give them more stars ... THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE FELLAS OVER AT SMITTY'S .... im Ecstatic!!!

Got a flat tire and urgently needed it fixed and went to five shops and each and everyone of them told me to wait several hours. Not only Matthew did it fast but he did a great job. Five stars for you.

I've come here multiple times for repairs during my time in Rochester, and they are the only auto mechanic I've been to that hasn't tried to rip me off. Service takes a little longer than they say but I will take it for a place that is honest, reliable and affordable. I definitely recommend them for anyone moving to the area!

Had a trailer tire blowout on the way to vacation, they found and installed 4 new tires and a wheel bearing, fast work, they were found by accident and were fantastic! Very reasonably priced also!

I needed one license plate taken off and they told me they’d have to take a panel off my car, it wouldn’t be easy or cheap, I needed to make an appointment for next week. The next place I called did it for free same day in less than 10 minutes. Don’t like when people try to rip me off.

Our son recently had car trouble and being a student and originally from NJ, he did not have a mechanic in the area. We feel very lucky that he found Smitty"s Automotive Services. Even though they were very busy, Kerry resolved his issue. Very honest and reliable. Good people. If you are in need of Auto Repair, take your car to Smitty's.

I have trusted Smitty's Automotive to take care of my car for 15 years. I've always been given honest information on what my cars needs are. They accommodate my schedule and are easy to work with . I know I can count on a fair price too! I have tried other "Dealerships" and find myself questioning all the extra costs they build in. Its like paying someone to change the air in my tires. I recently was told I needed new calipers and brake pads at the Dealer, but opted for a second opinion, I'm so glad I did. They determined my calipers were fine. So I was spared a $1000 bill at the dealer and paid a fraction of that at Smittys. I appreciate the relationship I have with Smittys and will be continuing to take my car there for service as long as I am driving.

If your looking for that 'Trusted Mechanic', Smitty's is the place! Just knowing that they really do look out for you is such a relief. From complete transmission rebuilds to general repairs for multiple model cars, Smitty's has been there for us for years. Recently I made the mistake of getting a truck transmission rebuilt at Dealership to save a few $ because of partial warranty coverage. Big mistake... it took two weeks to get my truck back and then it blew out again 17 months later. That's 5 months past their warranty period so I was out of luck! 17k miles on a transmission repair! In the end, the guys at Smitty's assessed the failure, rebuilt my transmission correctly, and then went to bat for me with the Dealership. In the end all is right with the world. I highly recommend them!

Smittys saved me!! Very helpful and friendly! My transmission went on my vehicle and me being a female, I did not know a fair price range for that type of work. I didn't want to get ripped off so I called many different shops in the area who quoted me at $3000 or better!! Smittys ended up doing the work for almost half the cost at $1600 , did an awesome job and had my vehicle back and running in no time!!! Thank you smittys for being so helpful and not ripping me off!!! I will never go anywhere else!!
