I had recently moved and bc the reviews here were great, I took both of my MBs here. My 2000 ML430 charges included $600+ labor to replace my headlight assemblies (I provided the parts) and as shown in pics below they didn’t replace the bottom parts (pic 1) nor do the headlights work properly (pics 2,3,4 .. running light, low and high beams respectively). I asked for one headlight replaced bc it didn’t work on low beam and alas still doesn’t & worse than it was 😠. Also $500+ ‘inspection’ for things they knew they couldn’t repair, but alas charged me anyway (and I seriously question whether it was even done). I also found the fuse panel cover on the passenger floorboard 🤷🏻‍♀️ (pic 5). A total of $4k! For my 2001 SLK, for $1800 they changed the oil, replaced my alternator ($960), and a new battery (tho one would think for $415, they’d have put new bolts on vs the old rusted ones (sigh)). I also paid $450 for a detail & had to clean the hard to get to areas, and the trunk wasn’t even vacuumed! And lastly, the convertible worked before the alternator died, but didn’t work after I picked it up…could’ve been that it was just time to replace all the hydraulics, but after the ML I seriously question if it was coincidental. They also logged my mileage at 85267 when it’s actually only 52670 🤦🏻‍♀️. The SLK went directly to Revolution to repair and now the ML will have to go to fix the headlights and make sure the other things they said they did were done at all, and if so we’re done properly. Obviously I’ll never go there again, and recommend either Revolution or Rocco’s with whom I’ve had positive experiences.

Wow, what a professional shop and a great staff who are also real European car enthusiasts! So fortunate to have this shop right here downtown without having to travel to Buckhead or Johns Creek! I will be back soon and have already referred the shop to some friends!

Solo Motorsports is the place to go if you want fair and reliable service! I was tired of going to the Audi dealership and paying for a lot of things that were not necessary. Not to mention the dealership trying to convince me I needed new parts that “may go bad” yet were still fine. The team at Solo Motorsports took time to explain what my car needed and why all the “upselling items” recommended from the dealership were not needed. Going forward. I will not take my car anywhere else and will also have my husband’s car serviced here too!

Took my BMW there for a drivetrain inspection. Found the problem but tried to charge me additional money to find more “problems” not actual repairs. I went to BMW dealership and got it inspected and now I’ve an appointment to fix the actual issue. You are better off going to the dealership than this shop. Very vague with no details. Worst $160 I’ve ever spent.

I would like to share my experiences approximately a year ago regarding vehicle maintenance services at Solo Motorsport ATL. Initially, I had an appointment for scheduled maintenance, but the process took significantly longer than anticipated. While I understood that waiting for parts could be an issue, I believe that at a high-end repair shop, having a reliable parts supplier should be a priority. Ultimately, the car was repaired, but the prolonged wait was less than satisfactory. It would be advisable for anyone dropping off their vehicle to plan accordingly. I did speak with location Manager Alec about my concerns over the phone post visit to shop. He was on vacation. In contrast, I recently had another service appointment in October 2024, and the experience was markedly different. Before my appointment, I spoke with Alec, who prepared for my visit in advance, which proved to be crucial. His proactive approach highlighted the importance of understanding customer needs. He recognizes that when I commit to being there, I expect timely service; otherwise, my vehicle would be towed to the shop. Additionally, it's worth noting that AAA has updated its towing policy, now limiting the number of tows allowed in a year. I believe AAA could consider adjusting membership fees to better accommodate these changes. This recent service exceeded my expectations, as I was able to complete my visit in a reasonable timeframe and return to my day. I appreciate Alec’s efforts in making this happen.

So I have a BMW go to but decided to try out Solomotorsports for a larger job as they saved me $1,800 on a smaller job (saved me from having to replace my oil pan due to someone else stripping it out on a basic oil change) that I was very impressed with at the Norcross location. Today I went to the new location downtown and as a BMW guy that knows a lot about the car as well, I give them a 10 out of 10 on knowledge, service and customer service. The front and back shops were well designed and are very clean and cool on a 90 degree day. This a rare thing in today's automotive repair industry. Their prices are reasonable and Pierre and his Manager are awesome guys. They fixed my lower control arms on my BMW X5 and did an excellent job and I was even able to log in and get some work done. I also had the chance to play the race simulator game. They have found a customer for life. Thanks Guys!!! I will recommend you at every opportunity. So now to current times, I take all 3 of my BMW's to the solo team. They recently did an oil change in record time using only the best oil possible. Ober the years, they have done everything from timing chain guides, vanos repair, struts, radiators, mounts, headlight units and much more. Alec and team are the best. I do a lot of my own BMW repairs but they handle anything that I deem as mid to major. Even the owner rolls his sleeves up to get in the mix when things get hectic for the team. I love these guys and have always been satisfied with their work. I hate seeing them sometimes as this also means I need to spend some $$ but all in all, I trust them to fix anything on my BMW or any other European car. Update, I went in this past week (3.12.24) for some work on my X3 and X5. I was able to plug up my laptop and work while they made the repairs. I wasn't there all day and the repairs were spot on! I will be taking the X3 in this week 3.22.24 for coolant pipe replacements as well as the coolant reservoir replacement. I will update everyone on that repair next week.

These guys are my “goto” shop! wether it’s performance mods, general maintenance, even a engine swap, they never let me down! Clarke is great to deal with, the techs are very knowledgeable. They have a guy who specializes in rover/jaguar so skip the stealership and try these guys!

My experience was great. They repaired some damaged caused by Grease Monkey on Roswell Road, one of those change express oil change places that I foolishly trusted my Audi with. Had me back on the road in 24 hours.

EDIT: My normal contact at Solo has reached out to me and made the situation right. Mistakes happen and I appreciate how a company handles them. I have edited to bring the review from 2 stars to 4 stars and I genuinely think the company would have made it right even if I hadn't left the review. I am leaving the initial review as reference for the situation I’ve had good experiences in the past, but very poor this time. I came in for two tires, knowing that the price was a little higher, but also having experienced good work from them in the past; I was happy to pay. Got there first thing and the offered for me to wait. I agreed and then it took them two hours to change the two tires. All the while I can look through the window and see the mechanics on their phones and one smoking a cigarette near the car. I finally get the car back and it smells like smoke inside. I’m letting it air out, but when brought to the attention the manager just apologized. Not a premium experience fitting of a more expensive place. I don’t doubt that they can do good work. But was not impressed this time.

First time customer here. My Audi A3 dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree with many indicator lights coming up at different times over a period of several days. Needless to say I was pretty freaked out. Before finding Solo, I consulted Dr. Google and many folks said it was probably a battery issue. So I went to a mass retail battery place and while the battery did need replaced, it didn’t fix the problem. I found Solo and called and they got me in the next day. First thing is that they said the battery place installed the wrong battery, so they got the right battery and then discovered that a sensor in one of the wheels was dead and was causing a bunch of crazy miscommunications between the various electrical systems. I took my car in two days ago and got increasingly anxious about getting it back before the Hurricane Helene storm came through last night. These guys were great and got my car back to me fixed and ready to go before the storm hit. Special shout out to Clarke Steele, who not only explained everything in detail every step of the way, but remained extremely patient and professional with anxious me through the entire process. The price was very fair as well. I will use these guys from now on and highly recommend!

I drive a Porsche and got a flat downtown. My car was towed to Solo Motorsport. They gave me a great price on all new Pirelli tires accompanied with an alignment. The customer service was excellent. I've passed the location almost everyday for over two years now and I'm glad I had the opportunity to do business there. I highly recommend Solo Motorsport. ****update 9/25/24**** Since the above situation, I've used Solo and they haven't disappointed (oil changes, tune-up, brakes). GREAT customer service and couldn't be happier!!!!

Service has been great, and I enjoy talking with the staff about what’s going on with my Mini Cooper and asking questions. I like the energy of the shop and didn’t mind hanging out for a while on my first visit while they did an oil change and overall look (bought used and this was first service, plus I’m at the 60K miles point where maintenance really kicks in). I’m happy to have a shop I can rely on for good service.

Alec and the mechanics are thorough and pay attention to the details that other euro-specialists claim. I used another shop to begin my headlight upgrade. This shop shat the bed. I called Solo, asked if they do this work, and his team ablidged. Their not only corrected the bad numper removal performed by the other shop, they also contacted the company they did the custom headlight build to ensure that the coding and eperation were on point. In addition, the team took the time to help me program my phone app so that I could control the new lights. This is where I should've taken my car in the first place. So. Should. You. I would like to thank Solo Motor Sports for taking care of my Daughters Q5. I just bought this car for my Daughter to go to grad school. Brought it in for an inspection and they found a coolant leak under the intake. This is where it gets good. The fixed the coolant leak which toke about 2 days. Test drove it and it the coolant leaked again. Without hesitation they toke the car back and fixed it. Come to find out it was bad parts. They went the extra mile and kept the car to test the car out more to make sure we good. Other shops would have just sent me on my way. I have been taking my cars to Solo when they just had one shop on Jimmy Carter Blvd and will continue taking my cars here for service.
