This shop is my "go to" for all of my auto mechanic needs. They do a fantastic job. I've had them work on all of my vehicles many times over. Tyler and his family run an honest and reliable business. Friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them for all of your auto and marine needs.

I had a poor service experience concerning the repair of a simple 20 HP outboard engine. The engine was not running properly. The engine was checked with a software program that did not detect any problems. They could not repair the engine and charged me $175. I had to take it to a dealership in SLC for repair.

Sommerville Auto and Marine has kept my vehicle for four months to where I finally had to just say give me my vehicle back. It was completely torn a part. They have said it’s fixed twice and I’ve had to take it back because it’s not fixed After four months it is still not fixed. It was an air-conditioning issue that they were unable to fix and I paid them $2400 and they refuse to warranty their work or parts. I had to buy a new compressor and new condenser And I just found out today that without telling me, they had actually gotten two compressors. They had taken my car completely apart. They gave me a receipt of what work they had done and it doesn’t match what they took out of my bank account Please do not go to them they are not honest and they do not warrantee their work or their labor.

These folks fit me in with an emergency repair. They accurately diagnosed and then corrected the problem while they had access to the fuel injectors. The repair was fair and timely with great communication.

Somerville winterized our 28’ pontoon boat 2021 and when it came time to use it, just needed to charge batteries, hook up water clamp and start, When We went to use it this yr, found a tag on steering wheel said, do not run or operate until boat has been summarized, left message (after hours) never did get a call back, no blue smoke from the fogging like previous yr,

Tyler and his mom, dad and all the workers I met in this shop are all very ethical, honest, fair and really easy and nice to deal with. I have now had several repair jobs done with them on two different old cars now and I have never had the feeling they were not trying their best to help me get the cars fixed correctly and do what they can to keep within my budget constraints. they get work done in a timely manner and within cost estimates. I think aside from having good moral character, they are really good mechanics as they like what they do. Tyler really likes cars, (especially the vintage American cars) just like everyone else in this shop. So I believe if you truly like what you do, your going to be good at it. So that combined with honesty and integrity, you can't go wrong with Somerville. They are really good people.

I am so very pleased with my experience with Tyler and Danny and the job that they did on my Capri Bayliner boat. They came in way under another bid that I had. The work was done in less than a week. They kept me apprised of what was happening with the boat. I felt absolutely sure that they only fixed what they needed to. And then what they fixed is gonna be great. There was a lot wrong with my old boat. I can't wait to get it out on the water and get skiing!!! Thank you guys for the great job you did I will definitely be back with boats and cars!!

I brought my car in because I was having issues with my tires. After an inspection, it was brought to my attention that my whole front end was failing. After my front end was replaced, I was still having some problems. These guys checked every inch and eventually found and fixed what was causing these issues! There was so much going on with my car but these guys were very determined to get her fixed up! They did such a great job and now it feels like I am driving a brand new car! On top of amazing auto service, their customer service was what sealed the deal! Throughout this process, these guys maintained great communication and were very easy to work with. I can't thank Somerville enough for their help! If you are trying to find reliable and fast service for a fair price, I would definitely recommend going to Somerville Auto & Marine!

I cannot say enough good things about this business and the people who run it. Driving through St. Grorge, my wife and I were involved in a car accident which just happen to occur near Somerville Auto & Marine. Our car was barely driveable. We were able to get our car over to their shop. They did an initial exam of our vehicle and told us to have it towed to a body shop. They helped us find a body shop and told us where to get a rental car. Then... they took time out of their busy day to drive my wife and I to get our rental car... And, waited in the parking lot to make sure we got a rental car before leaving. Never charged us a nickle! These people are so nice and ethical. I recommend this business to anyone looking for auto or marine repair. Thanks!

I have an old boat with a Volvo engine. They don't make parts for the engine. Sommerville scoured the internet looking for replacements and retrofit options. Unfortunately there are none. I was amazed at the effort expended for a boat that in the end is unfixable. Thanks Sommerville!

Unbelievably Awesome! They took my 35 year old boat and re-did EVERYTHING! (Something NO ONE ELSE would touch) New Motor, New conversion from outdated/discontinued OMC to Merc Outdrive, and great Upholstery recommendation. When parts came in, they tested them and refused anything not up to perfection standards. They kept me notified of every step, were really pleasant/informative to talk to, and delivered as promised - on time! I'm a full-time RVer and I was lucky to break down here in St. George. My problem was pretty expansive with a lot of potential issues. They fit me into a packed schedule and gave me all the attention they had. They diagnosed issues, helped me formulate a game plan, and have been consistently helping me now over the phone even after I left and tried to make another drive. These people are so knowledgeable and transparent, they genuinely want to inform you of your issue and help out. Pricing is on point and fair, and they simply just go above and beyond.
