I purchased my Subaru from South End Auto in late 2020 with ~8K miles on it for nearly $9K below the market value. The car still smelled brand new inside. About a year later I had a pine tree branch fall on the hood and windshield. Ivan fixed it professionally and saved me so much time and money! 4 years and 45K miles later the car still runs like new. All it has needed since purchase was oil, gas and a set of tires. These guys are amazing, very dedicated to their work and I am certainly planing to have my next car from them when the time comes. The place is excellent to find your new car. We got one Subaru which turned out to much, much better than we thought. Ivan is really nice and helpful, he would tell you if something is wrong even if you could never guess about it. His service is the best place to get a great car for a reasonable price and hurry up not many cars are available because they sell the cars quite fast...

I bought my first car from Ivan while I was studying Mechanical Engineering at Purdue. I took the car to another Mechanic and put it on a lift during the test drive and neither of us could find a flaw. I was still skeptical after my purchase but after driving this car for 5 years now and no issues, it's fair to say the skepticism I once had is now gone. Blows my mind I bought my car for a fraction of what is was worth. Ivan and his team are the real deal here.

I have been buying from Ivan for over 10 years and every car has exceeded expectations. I have been able to drive his reconstructed cars for 2 years then sell them for what I paid. I can't stand buying depreciating large ticket items like a car and watch my money wasted with each mile I put on them. I have brought some fun cars, trucks and older model years and have enjoyed each one. Several times I have picked up a vehicle and there might have been something they missed and Ivan has always been fair with me and a man of his word. Ivan the owner is an extremely honest gentleman. I originally went there to look at vehicle that had been restored for sale. The workmanship was fantastic. No deceptions or misleading information. I even needed a minor repair on my work van which he completed incredibly quick. The charge was more than reasonable. Great place, great team..

I bought my 2016 Honda Fit here about a month ago. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The car is very solid, no problems or any minor issues. Buying my car here saved me around $5,000 - $6,000 from buying it from a car dealership. I would definitely checkout this place first before going to any dealership or private seller. (I drove all the way from fayetteville) I went to 6 dealerships prior coming here, all dealerships always come up with hidden fees(price adds like $4,000 which is crazy) and will try to take your money and advantage of you. When I came to South End Auto i asked for the price of my 2016 Honda Fit which they said it was $9,750 and that's what i ended up paying in the end, no hidden fees or anything. i was surprised and very happy. (car still smelled like new lol and had 24,000 miles). South End Auto's staff and the owner are very nice/friendly and professional, they will take care of you. Trust them, they know what are they doing/saying. The owner ''Ivan'' is always out there working hard. Yes, you will be able to test drive your car and check it out. In short words, Car dealerships will rip you off, private sellers will probably sell you a car that's deadline and South End Auto will be honest,will take care of you and they always have amazing prices you can't walk away from. I know for a fact that in the future i'm buying my next car here at South End Auto. Peace out!!!

Ivan sells late model cars that are salvaged and rebuilt. He does an excellent job, and is open and honest about every aspect of his business. Many members of our family have bought cars from him and gotten excellent value.

South end auto is a great car dealership there tittles might be salvage but there cars a basically brand new and they sell them at great prices. I just picked up my 2013 370Z witch was basically brand new for a amazing price. They also have great customer service if I ever need a new car there are my go to for sure.

These are all rebuilt salvage titles. But my car drives and looks great. I had minor issues that they diagnosed and repaired in no time. I'll certainly be back :-)

I had been on the hunt for a Subaru Impreza for months when I just happened to run across this one a few weeks ago. I found one similar to what I wanted at a car lot near my house but it was in worse shape and they were asking $2,000 more. I had a specific amount I could spend and it worked out perfectly with taxes and all I could afford this limited edition car with no loan from the bank (which i couldn't do). Just to be clear, I drove from Tennessee 4 hours away. This definitely took a leap of faith on my part.I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to see how nice the car looked in person. He did allow us to test drive it and look it over as much as we needed to. We found no issues. The car buying process was smooth and I couldn't be happier with my car. Buying a car from Ivan was a very positive experience and I appreciate his honesty and how thorough he is. I have already recommended South End Auto to some of my friends and they are patiently waiting to see what other cars become available soon. I plan on keeping this car for many years, but when the time comes to replace it I'll be looking him up again.

Year and half and 34000miles later the car runs and handles like new. All it needed for this period of time was oil and set of tires. They even matched the replaced parts with original factory painting parts from same model (one year newer). Thanks and Keep up the good job guys!

**UPDATE 12/12/2018**: The scathing reply below by Ivan is 100% factually incorrect. I am not "Andy M", or "Andy M's wife". This is not a fake account. I have used this account for years, just not always to post reviews. I felt it incumbent upon me to tell people the truth. I am refusing to disclose my identity for fear of reprisal and because I want my identity kept private. As you can see by the reply left below, this confirms my statement that Ivan is extremely combative and aggressive, refusing to change his behavior even after having the facts presented to him. The only reason I visited Ivan the second time is because he quoted me $300+ less than anyone else to replace a part on my vehicle. And then he turns around and says not only that he will not honor that price, but nothing is wrong with the vehicle. Read my review below - the transmission valve body was malfunctioning. Really Ivan? Please stop harassing people. In case Ivan deletes his reply, this is what he said below: "Response from the owner a week ago This feedback is FAKE : - user is anonymous - it is nothing but a continuation of the previous hateful feedback - it is ALSO written by Andy M - probably from his wife's account - each of the many insults is enough for "rt9" to NEVER step foot again in our business, but supposedly the feedback is written by a "repetitive customer"... ?! - "rt9" has left one other feedback for a local coffee shop that is only 7 miles away from the house of Andy M... That's suspicious - don't you think ? - this guy goes the extra mile to post FAKE negative feedback from multiple accounts..." My honest review of SouthEndAuto: I want to agree with another reviewer on here and say that we have had a couple interactions with Ivan, and they have been mostly negative. Ivan is abrasive and arrogant, consistently extolling the virtues of his vehicles, but not being willing to stand behind his work should you find a pre-existing issue with the vehicle after the sale. Ivan was extremely hesitant to do multiple repairs before we purchased our vehicle, repairs which should have been completed before the vehicle was even sold. Specifically: rust, busted AC tabs, scratches on the windows, and tears in the pillar cloth. His intimidation sales tactics and service require that you be extremely vigilant and resilient. While his vehicles may be competitively priced, you truly do get what you pay for, especially in terms of quality. The vehicle we purchased from Ivan required that all 4 tires, a rim, all 4 brakes and rotors, and the water pump be replaced within 1 month of purchase. Ivan claimed this was "expected". In another instance, a vehicle of ours had an issue with the valve body, a fact backed up by several local transmission shops where I had the vehicle checked. Not only did Ivan keep the vehicle for about a week, he guaranteed that it did not have an issue, and tried to charge us for the “diagnosis”, instead of actually repairing the vehicle as originally requested. In yet another case, with both a female family member of mine, as well as my wife, Ivan has yelled at and belittled them respectively. This guy seems to have a real issue with female customers. What does this mean for you as a customer? Find a good deal on Craigslist, something that is not a salvage title. If you purchase here, expect nothing but problems. I agree - definitely budget at least an additional $1K - $2K post-sale for repairs.

Ivan is a very reasonable and honest businessmen. I have known him for years, and bought and traded cars with him. I will continue to do business with him in the future. He tries very hard to make it right for a customer every time. A heck of a lot better deals, and savings than any other dealerships I know. I buy on average 1-2 cars per year for my businesses and personal use.

They offer a great value for for a newer car, although they have a salvage titles, they take great care in fixing the car, and they also offer warranties.
