Good shop that won't over charge

Had hoped I had found a trustworthy, honest mechanic,but my experience was everything but. Went there for repair of a leak, was charged almost $400 and still have the same leak, I went in for. Roc is very condescending, as if females are idiots. Live & learn.

I brought my vehicle in for an electrical problem and it took several days for them to diagnose. They tightened my battery cable and sent me in my way. The dead battery problem quickly reoccurred and they kept my car for several more days to diagnose the problem. I paid $180 for nothing, became the problem occurred again. This time I brought the vehicle to another mechanic and they fixed the problem after another $180 diagnoses fee. Wasted much time and money here.

Took my car in to diagnose misfire, they told me my car was totaled and offered me 300$. After taking my car to an actual reputable master technician we found that my car was not in fact totaled and just needed a simple injector replacement. Idk what was worse, my time and money being wasted? Or the fact that they lied to me and told me my car was totaled and were definitely going to just turn around and sell the car for a quick flip. Not to mention the belittling way they addressed me was insulting and disrespectful. My car being backed into their metal fence and scratching the paint should’ve been the first red flag.

My first experience with them was when I called them the day before scheduling an appointment when I walked in that morning they had no record of that. We continued I picked up my vehicle they told me it needed the rear differential rebuilt and fluid change and the clutch was strong and the alternator was good and the engine was great and there was no rust content. Then they sent me an estimate two weeks later after I called them and asked for it cuz they didn't think I was worth getting back to I guess. I had no mention of changing fluids save for the brake fluid. And they wanted to do my clutch and alternator after those were the things they specifically told me were strong with no mention of the rear differential being done until I had emailed them back and asked about it so they just added it on for more money. Regardless too much inconsistency too many lies for me all I want is a good mechanic I would literally pay that mechanic anything but I just want a honest mechanic. I only know a thing or two about cars but I know a thing or two about people and you can't trust a lying mechanic they well just lie to you forever cause you don't know better Also I'm just remembering I told them to give me a quote on tires and they never did that at all lol not that I'm surprised cause they couldnt send me a email on the estimate but just a full review cause I'm so sick of bad mechanics and they need to be found out and set to justice if I did this as an electrician working on a hospital I could be fined or jailed same should apply to cars if you can't identify properly communicate and then fix the problem you shouldn't call yourself an auto mechanic car accidents are the number one cause of death in America take your trade seriously or don't do it It's not about the money it's about the fact you said one thing one day and one thing another day two weeks ago I'm glad I didn't pay for the information I can't even trust it

I have had multiple vehicles maintained and serviced for over twenty years with SE Automotive and have always received reliable, dependable service with quality and reasonable pricing. On the very rare occasion that they felt they weren’t the right shop for my needs, they sent me to another quality facility. Their honesty and integrity are what I have experienced the very most!!

Came in for a squeaking noise, paid $500 for a new belt. Noise still happening. Brought the car back in, they couldn’t hear it so I had to come in and put the car back in idle (as I had told them on the phone). Took the car elsewhere, the squeaking was coming from the airbox squeaking against the bracket from a nut missing. That fixed the problem. Also please stop winking to your female clients

I cannot thank Southeast Automotive enough for helping me navigate a transmission issue I had with my Nissan Rogue by actually alerting me to a class action lawsuit that existed and instructing me to take my car to the Nissan dealership to ensure that I could get my transmission fully repaired for free. The fact that they didn't try to nickel and dime me or push me to make repairs at their shop speaks volumes about the integrity and expertise of Southeast Automative. I will absolutely trust them again in the future with my car.

In recent years, all of the locally owned auto repair shops nearby have been sold to larger chains. The resulting quality of service and personal satisfaction has diminished. After another small fish got eaten by a larger chain, we took our car to SE Auto located in SE Denver. Unlike some of the others, access is safe and easy since they’re not located on a busy street. There was no high pressure sales or attempts to upcharge for “necessary” services. The staff were friendly and attentive. The car was ready in a reasonable amount of time for a cost that included only the services requested. We have found a new place to service our cars.

My family has used Southeast Automotive for the past 20+ years. They have done repairs on my kid's older cars and have serviced our newer cars and have always been extremely knowledgable, kind, helpful, fair and economical with us. Many times for minor issues they were able to have fix in minutes they sent us home without charging us anything. These are honest quality people - I can recommend Rock and his teem enthusiastically and without reservation 8-11-2021 update. Ditto all of the above. Since last review have had them repair a transmission in a relative’s Lexus, fix an electrical problem in our Subaru, and so other basic maintenance- love thes e guys. Top notch quality and integrity, and they are nice people to boot!

This place is fraudulent. They can't even replace a battery without ruining the rest of the integrity of your car. I wouldn't trust them with my vehicle ever again. Their mechanic Thomas is rude and horrible at his job.
