Contacted Ty thinking that my car needed an alternator. After coming out; it was my battery. I thought that I was going to have to go pick it up; nope! He did and installed it. Made my evening so much better. I will definitely use him again and refer him to others.

I don’t even post negative reviews because I know the impact it can cause a company but I Will not be going back or taken advantage of .They Damaged things on my car and will not replace them . I’ve Tried to reconcile the issue with the owner before posting a review all he could do was yell and say it’s not they fault but they was literally the only people who worked on my car since I bought it a year ago . My car started having issues on their lot following the repair they did with brand new parts . I’ve had so many issues now after ,which has cost me thousands in repairs to fix . All I asked was to make this right, being a return customer . I support black owned businesses but you can’t just do people any kind of way and not being honest if your mistakes . (A issue did arise that was partially my fault which was taken care on my end and did not place that liability on this company.) Please fix this what you damaged and do what’s right . I ain’t hurting for money if something wasn’t my fault I don’t feel I should have to pay for negligence . want the issues resolved by the person who caused it (respectfully) Please check your vehicles before pulling off from getting work done here

I am always leery about seeking service for my vehicle as a woman, because the reality is this is an industry where tons of women get taken advantage of. I can most assuredly say this was not the case with Southside Mobile Mechanic. The pricing was reasonable and fair. I did not get spoken to like I know nothing about vehicles, which I certainly appreciated. I came in with a previous diagnosis from the dealership and when that did not rectify the problem Tyrell took the time to get my truck running well. Will return!

I contacted Tyrell Monday and he was out by Wednesday fixing my car. Such an amazing service! And what made the service even better was him coming out to me in the middle of the evening to fix my car! He was super understanding and considering! The service was super affordable & amazing. Additionally the mechanics who worked on my car was very very nice as well even when my son talked his ear off (Haha) I would definitely be booking again! THANKS TYRELL !!

Let me tell yall... these two gentlemen not only diagnose my car but gave me options that fit my budget for repairs. After being scammed twice by other so called mechanics it's refreshing to have dealt with an honest repair service. And they will be on rotation for any repairs from here on out!! Contacted Southside mobile mechanic because I was having issues with my car starting; Rell came out within a couple of hours and ran a diagnostic for me to figure out the issue. He was very patient and professional; apparently my battery was bad and he offered to take me to exchange it; he also changed the brakes I've been meaning to get change for some time. Great customer service and great work.

I’m convinced this page is full of fake reviews, absolutely awful mechanics. A bunch “ guessing “ going on . No actual expertise . I went to solve one problem and i left with several other issues . This guys leaves my engine valve cover half screwed on & I had antifreeze all over my engine which then in turn cause it to overheat . Also he doubles the prices for parts & tries to squeeze as much $$ out of you (your average scummy mechanic) . Do yourself a favor & take it somewhere else .

Unreliable. Didn’t put bumper back in place correctly. Update: You did do work on my car I have a picture of you working on it, till this day my bumper is not on correctly. You also talk to women any type of way and bragged about how you upcharge customer on parts because you can and thats why you don’t want them to provide their own, Tyrell.

Very unprofessional. I just called at 4:04PM on March 30, 2024 to inquire about availability. The idiot that answers should fired immediately. I asked king there was availability to replace a starter. He says “nope”. I said “when’s your next availability?” He says “next week”. I said “…..IS THERE A DAY NEXT WEEK?!”. I ended up hanging the phone up on him. I hope the owner finds out they lost money because of this fool. Listen, if you don’t like what you do for work - go find a job you like. Or else learn customer service skills and get some couth about yourself. Weirdo.

Anybody out there looking for an Honest and great mechanic? Southside Mobile Mechanic is the place to go. Everybody knows when your vehicle is almost paid off is also when everything starts breaking down. So that's when either you can't afford to buy another one or you just don't want to start with a new set of car notes? Well, Southside Mechanics got me all the way set. I was having problem after problem; my car was at its lowest AND loud and I was gonna just get a new one but those new car notes made me rethink it all. I was referred to SSM and Tyrell literally saved my car's life. What I love most is that all the parts he replaced are brand new and Not used, and the prices were actually very reasonable; nothing like what the dealerships and some of those other mechanics charge. He explained exactly what was wrong and what the part does for my car. I'm a real critic but when I tell you, this man eased my mind making sure I wasn't getting ripped off, I mean that. His work is exceptional. It's been months now and my car is running great. Southside mechanic will take care of you. Go see Mr. Tyrell, he'll take care of you. You'll leave happy and most of all, not broke!!!

Two days ago I had a no crank no start condition so I contacted this mobile mechanic. The tech got my car started and left, but on the first drive I noticed the car was not driving correctly (which it did prior to service).I will give them 2 stars because they solved the No crank no start condition, but in the process caused a problem that did not exist before service……. While working on my starter, the tech broke a connector that he thought was to the knock sensor. He spliced a connector from a spare car that I have, but I am having drive-ability issues. I believe the connector that was broken was for my vehicle speed sensor, and the splicing he did, did not work. Now I have a running car that is barely driveable. When I tried to contact them the day after (on Saturday) to let them know, NO RESPONSE. Smh. So now either I have to get under there and see whats going on, or pay someone else to come behind them and fix it.
