They are very knowledgeable about my Volvo; knew exactly what to do and how to evaluate the vehicle; they performed the desired maintenance and gave me a "watch/monitor" around what they found during the whole vehicle evaluation.

car had 'thermostat' issues (or so I thought)... apparently I don't know how to diagnose a 'low water' condition, but they did, and serviced the water and _did not_ replace the (not broken) thermostat. They could have done the work and charged me and I never would have known otherwise! Thank you, guys! Keep this little smart-car on the road! (OH, and i met Morris the cat)

My prayers were answered! I'm not kidding. On my way to my first appointment with Southwest Auto I prayed that my decision to change my "car doctor" that I had been loyal to for six years would be a good decision. I said to God, and I said this out loud in my car on the drive to SWA, "God, I have no idea what to do about maintenance for my car. I don't think where I've been going is the right place to take my car anymore but what do I know? I just have this gut feeling... how do I know who's good? How do I know who has experience and skills and the technology and tools to work on my Volvo and not break something in the process of fixing it? God, this is all you, now. I'm giving this all to you." So guess what?! I found a new family home for my Volvo maintenance! This family and team will earn your confidence with their experience, integrity, love of automobiles, their attention to detail, their transparency, their communication, their attitudes and their hearts. My Volvo is now in good hands! Yay! I'm spreading the word - they are the best!

The entire staff awesome , improved and repaired my Saab 9-3 Aero and got to visit my buddy Sir Morris the coolest shop cat in DFW. Honest fair flexible and knowledgeable mechanics and service. If you have a Euro car these are the folks to care for it.

To the extent that car repair can be a great experience, we have enjoyed an absolutely great experience with everyone at Southwest Auto. I have found myself in the unenviable position of having to decide whether I should invest further in my car via the proper repairs or move on to another. In both instances we chose to have Southwest do the work and couldn't be happier with the decision and the results. Each time, I was apprised of everything that needed attention during the diagnosis phase and together we put together a plan to address priorities keeping my budget in mind. Yes I would go back, and yes I would recommend them to a friend. They are knowledgable, honest and trustworthy.

After one year of an annoying rattle with my Volvo and three visits to the dealership, during the last of which my issue were completely dismissed by the staff, Southwest fixed the immediate problem, and when the low-level rattle persisted, took the additional deep dive needed to identify and fix the problem. Kudos to Southwest Auto! Thank you for a job well done! I appreciate your persistence, accessibility and attention to clients.

Corey and the Team at Southwest Auto are terrific to work with. They are prompt and reliable and can repair items when other repair shops could not. Their ride service is a real plus also. They’ve managed to keep my 2000 Audi A4 running for a long time.

One of the few shops that can service Alfas. My only complaint is they are way too far from East Dallas. And they have a shop cat and cats are, as we all know, excellent judges of character.

Today was my first visit and I’m happy that I decided to choose Southwest Auto Service shop. The ambience is calm, great decorations and the only thing I regret is that I missed the opportunity to meet Morris the cat. He should have been busy maybe at the garage. Southwest Auto goes above and beyond for their customers. Jon and MaryJane Howes have the best when it comes techs, service, and quality. In today’s economy one has to repair not buy a new vehicle. And with Southwest Auto I know my 2002 Highlander will last a long time.

We took our 2005 Land Rover LR 3 in for a check engine light and it was the ignition switch and they got that put in and we are happy with our experience with SW Auto. Will use them again.
