Thought our AC went out and we googled the closest place to get it checked. Found this place and brought our car in. They charged us 60 bucks for a diagnostic and told us we needed a whole AC kit,which they could provide for only 1600 dollars. So we went to our usual guy Celso at Yellow Van mobile mechanic. He released some freon and the AC worked again. No compressor needed. Everything good and it didn't cost 1600. I wouldn't ever trust this place and don't think anyone else should either. Call Celso at Yellow Van 💛

I have been using this BG product from my friends at Sparks Car Care for a while and it gives me a couple of additional miles on my truck and lasts for a couple of months this product works I sure recommend it next time you’re there for service talk to Joe he will help you out nice people

Very happy with the level of service I received! When something other than what I came in for was discovered the price was reasonable to keep me safe! That’s important! And they sent me a video of what was wrong! I will recommend them to everyone I know!

Great service. Can’t recall his name however the service provided was amazing. My AC was not blowing cold air and he told me what the possible reasons that this could be happening. Did his diagnosis and was able to have my car fix by the following morning. Well done team. Told me there was 90 days warranty on this job.

I drove down to look at a used truck for sale and luckily found this place for a health inspection. Unfortunately for me, they told me they’d pass on buying it - saw evidence of a flood and leaky transmission. They’ve been in business since 1981 and all three of them there from the beginning. I live in Austin or I’d use them again.

I have been a Sparks customer for YEARS. I've been taking my cars to both the Bandera location and the Perrin Beitel location and I am ALWAYS thoroughly satisfied! The staff is excellent at customer service and are very communicative and trust worthy. I had taken my 2009 Nissan Altima to two different mechanics (one being a dealership) to help with a situation pertaining to my car not starting and all was well once I had my car towed to Sparks on Perrin Beitel. Joe spoke with me in a manner that allowed me to understand all procedures while keeping in touch with updates. These awesome mechanics were able to go straight to the problem in no time, fixing it quicker than expected and for less than expected. I should've initially taken my car to Spark. My family and I are forever Sparks customers here in San Antonio, TX! We are truly thankful!

Dishonest, they will jump to quoting you immediately for a new engine for $4k without bothering to even take the time to fix it, turns out my engine was fine and didn't need a new one. Definitely try other options first before going through with them for their services.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this shop at all costs. Garbage people garbage service. Mechanics don’t know how to drive manual and damage customers cars I watched them attempt to pull my car on the lift and it made me physically cringe as they toasted my clutch. My clutch now makes a concerning noise they did work on my car with no approval at a pretty ridiculous price BUT big props to them they did cover the costs which was appreciated. My gf brought her car there and they did horrible work had to go back multiple times and her clutch now makes a weird noise. Just save yourself the hassle go else where. Even the tow guy said he takes pissed customers cars from here all the time.

Fast and friendly service. No add on sale for items that are not needed. They did exactly what was needed and got my truck back on the road. Very fair on price and had my truck back on the road in less than a day. Great small business owners.

Horrible customer service experience !!! Just had a part installed by business, (was referred by a friend),and when retuned to business to get a diagnostic, was giving an attitude from the get go when dropping off vehicle. When picked up vehicle was told if I’m still having issues to return it so they can check it out. So when brought it back the next day, noticed I was still leaking power steering from another area as well , which I knew had nothing to do with the work they did, and the attitude that was given by the recieptionist guy immediately had me alreadyalready wondering why is he being rude. So when we went inside to fill out another invoice to get it checked out someone named Joe came up super hostile and rude and insulting towards me, after that I stated i appreciate the work they are doing for me but do not appreciate the attitude and rudeness. So he decide to try and raise his voice to me and try and talk to me like I was a child, and complained about giving them more business. So I decide to not leave my vehicle there and leave. Not to mention they tried to keep the fluid I brought and paid for for my vehicle when they didn’t even use half of it, and also had tools on my door that were not there when I picked up my car they claimed were not there when I dropped it off! Some of the laziest/ unprofessional workers I have ever came across and the Worst customer service experience, I do not recommend anyone go to this shop! They are lazy, thieves and scammers!

I busted my oil pan This place did the oil pan replacement and called me to say my engine was locked up i was devastated and I returned to get my vehicle towed back to my place so I can review and plan for this expensive issue. I had the car towed back to the casa where I got my own fkn breaker bar and 24mm deep socket and I got the crank shaft to turn with some effort but the engine was not locked up i turned the key and I hear clicking....fml.. we not yet so i took the baterry to autozone and charged it got it back 2 hrs later full put it on turned the key and my car started BLESSED if you don't mind me saying lol. All i can say to Erin and Felix is karma exist to the other 2 guys who seemed like they knew but couldn't say anything cuz of whatever reason...i get it. This place is ok in a pinch and i mean if you got no other options BUT you gotta know what you want to do. My oil pan is good and it was done correctly I'll give mem that but if they tell you anything that cost more money get a second opinion and try the cheaper easier things yourself I just saved myself 4k after spending 700+ with a little muscle and a baterry charge. Beware of Erin the locked up engine specialist.

I have been going to Sparks for many years and have always been very satisfied with the service and price. The guys there are professional and respectful. They never look for other things to charge you for and take care of your vehicle in record time.

I took my vehicle to the dealership with no issues to get a recall completed only to get my vehicle back 6 days later with issues. A few hrs after picking it up from the dealership, my vehicle started to act up and the check engine light appeared. I returned to the dealership the following day only to be told that the issues had nothing to do with the recall they repaired and that I had a tear in a pcv hose and that my vehicle was overheating during diagnostic check so they added water to coolant tank and that it needed to be recharged. They quoted me almost $600 to correct the issues. I informed them that I had just driven my vehicle prior to taking my vehicle to repair the recall all the way to Galveston and back and my car never overheated or had any issues. Frustrated I left the dealership and took my vehicle to Sparks. This was the best decision ever. The owner Joe was not only professional, but he was very knowledgeable, explained what he would be doing, set an expectation for costs, and corrected both issues in about an hr and not to mention saved me more than $500! My vehicle is running great! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need to auto repairs. Ask for Joe.

Took my f150 to repair an oil leak, the manager went above and beyond for me, after the first attempt failed they took my truck back and repaired it quickly, they had a video for me of the leak, super happy and impressed that I found a new repair shop for all my repairs.

Went to get my ac checked on my jeep grand Cherokee and the manager there named Felix was not helpful at all and treated me like I was wasting his time. I asked for options on repairs and he answered rude and made it seem like the repairs were gonna be very expensive for me. I will never go there again I was discriminated for being a female

This is such a great mechanic! I brought my 2017 Ford Escape in because it was stuttering between gear shifts, and the guys flushed and replaced all of the transmission fluid, change the oil, and even topped up my brake and steering fluid, all within a couple hours! Felix was really nice about everything, and even took the car for a test drive to make sure it was good. My dad always told me, finding a good mechanic is like finding a good wife, once you found one, never let them go!! These guys will have all my fleet business in San Antonio!
