Such professionalism and kindness...not a combination you see everyday. Getting our 2013 Ford Focus worked on, we scheduled an appointment through "RepairPal" (an extended warranty thing for CarMaxx purchases...if you know; you know; if not, not really important lol) for 12:30 pm. Showed up a little early for the appointment and it turns out that no appointments are necessary. Now they were super busy, so I was nervous. Man were they awesome though! They were very understanding of my situation and did what they could to work with me! They got me in and out much faster than expected, while still doing a full inspection! I'm not used to that level of customer service. Now, once upon a time, I used to rebuild and race imports (like 20 years ago lol). So I've worked on a lot of cars and know a good deal. These gentlemen were VERY good at what they do! They were very knowledgeable and good at communicating clearly what they were doing and what could be done next time. I like it when a shop doesn't try to break the bank with unnecessary extras. I have some pretty good faith in their service and will definitely be back. Tony at the counter inside was SUPER friendly and helpful, and got Beto to help explain and confirm about "RepairPal." Beto was patient and clear, even providing extra information about the program (which was great because he knows more than I do about it 😂). Beto was super friendly and helpful and a man of his word getting me out of there before the time I was worried about. Louis was the technician who worked on my car. He was very friendly and clear about what I needed and what they would be doing. He brought an additional noise to my attention (I was aware but didn't have the time to get it checked because they were busy); this was awesome because it will help people who don't know about cars. The techs were fast, but thorough, even vacuuming where they were in and out of the car, very courteous! Louis let me know before they did things, and then let me know next steps I probably want to take and when to take them. He was very clearly amazing at his job. I recommend this spot! They know what they are doing! No appointment necessary. They do have an inside waiting area, but as a "former" gearhead (are we ever over it...not really lol), I wanted to watch them work. But there is coffee and water inside...and a Wendy's next door. Attached some photos! Thanks Louis, Beto, and Tony! You guys are awesome!

Do not come here. The person who helped me was nice, but he was about to charge me $360 to change my battery. When I called Speedee Milpitas, for the exact same service, they charged $220. Also, when they parked my car, my car would not start. The first person i asked to help me jump start my car said he didn’t want to do it because “it might damage” something and he shook his head and walked away then at the same time, the guy who originally helped me walked out, and he was kind enough to jump start my car and says he understands why i would choose to go elsewhere. GUYS. i understand it’s expensive in the Bay Area, but no need to over charge people just to get ahead. GO TO SPEEDEE MILPITAS INSTEAD!

I brought my van here just to change the oil, but they found that I actually had a hose that was about to explode. So glad that I brought it that day. I was in a rush, and couldn’t stay long but had to fix this hose. They did it ASAP for me, and I felt they were truly honest people who did everything they could to help my situation. They gave me a good price. Thank you to Beto!

Today I went to this place to have an ordinary SMOG check on my Nissan pathfinder. I was 1st on the line. 1st problem: I waited 1hr and 30 min with nothing done coz apparently, the guy working on it went out to another dealership to pick up spare part for another. I was not even informed about it, I only found out when I went to the work area and my car was not even touched. The front desk lady( Maria) gave me alibis and run arounds. I went home after being told that it would take another 1 hour wait for a simple smog test to he done. Total 2 hrs if I would wait again. So, I went home. 2nd Problem: The front desk lady ( Maria) called me at home, stating that the smog check was actually done initially and I should come back and pick up the result. Alleluah!!!....norhing was actually done, NO NOTHING, MARIA AND THE STAFF LIED FOR THE SECOND TIME. So, since I was already back there at their shop, I agreed to finally do the smog check...but I have to watch it with my 2 big eyes. I willingly paid after....MARIA and ONE STAFF simply told me....EVERYBODY MAKES MASTAKES, THEY ARE ONLY HUMANS....NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY MENTIONED...THEY SIMPLY JUASTIFIED THEIR ACTIONS.....well and good SPEEDY or SLOWDY...I almost exerternally exploded...Good work guys ( Pen....d..joo!!!) Thank you.

DO NOT COME HERE. I’ve came here twice to do an oil change on my car and both times I had an issue. My first time visiting this place, they did an oil change and when I left home, I noticed some change I had laying around in the middle cup holder was gone. It was only $10 but still it’s the principle smh. I tried not to think it was any of the guys at this place but literally nobody else was in my car but them and I never use that money. I leave it for homeless people whenever I see them. I should’ve not came back after this, but I did. I wanted to give them a second chance. After my second visit, they did another oil change but this time they tightened the bolt with an impact tool !! It has at least 60lbs of torque which is ridiculous!! Do they not train these men ? Or do they just hire anybody ? I am now having trouble removing the bolt to do the oil change myself. Because of this place and my experiences here, I am scared to take my car to any shop now. This place needs better men with knowledge!! They don’t take the time to do things correctly. They want you in and out as quick as they can. Hire men who have went to school for this kind of stuff and who actually have brain cells !!!

This is NUTS. THIS PLACE IS OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE. went in for an oil change was told I have an oil and coolant leak. I asked how much to fix, the 1st guy said $180 JUST FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TO SEE WHERE EXACTLY THE LEAK IS. The other guy said just pull the car in no fee. So I pull it in .30 min later he hands me a quote for Serpentine belt, spark plugs, valve cover gasket replacement. My friend works at NAPA AND GOT ME A QUOTE FOR PARTS (W/DISCOUNT & WITHOUT HIS FAMILY DISCOUNT. ) SEE THE OUTRAGEOUS PRICING!!!!! $900 for JUST LABOR WTH!!?! I guess I should have read the reviews before coming here lol craziness.. they're ALL BAD!

DONT GET RIPPED OFF THIS SHOP IS SHADY AND WILL LIE AND RIP YOU OFF!!!!! Check you paper work, they over charged me, and when I called them on it, they gave me an IOU For a free oil change, I went back today and they don't honor their word!

Despite the mediocre reviews, my experience was decent. On a Saturday morning about 45 minutes after they opened, arrived and checked in. They worked on my car right away. Coffee and comfortable lobby with TV. Maybe 20 minute wait for the oil change. $60 reg price but online coupon reduces that to to $50. They’re strict so you need the paper. Slight oil drippage on my garage floor afterwards, but cleaned up those few drops and it never dripped again. A little oil like this is pretty normal. My only gripe is they don’t too of fluids engine fluids as part of the service.

Do not come to this company. Their hours a listed from 8am - 6pm online and at the store. I came to this location 10 minutes to 6 because I needed my oil topped off. I had gotten my oil changed at a different location and they said to visit any speedee location in 30-60 days and they’ll top off the oil at no charge. I come to this location before it was closed and the door was locked!!! I knocked on the door and a man finally answered. He tried to tell me “we close at 5.” And I said “no you don’t, your hours are listed from 8am - 6pm. It’s on the door.” He said he couldn’t help me because they turn the pumps off at 4:45 every day and it would take 30 minutes to get them up and running. WHY would an OIL CHANGE business turn the pumps off so early before closing??!! Why are they closed before the business is supposed to be closed??!!! Makes no sense. Don’t waste your time here. I’d give this place 0 stars if I could.

Don't go here. Originally I was quoted $109.99. when everything was finished it came up to $221. It also happened to the person before me. She also had to pay over $200 because of the oil. If you plan to come here make sure to ask if that's the final charge or if they will charge you $100 for the oil. They should let you know when they incresebthe final price.Definitely not going back, especially a oil change.

Don't go this shop! I want to give them 0 star if I could. My car has tail lights on for right side tail light, so I stopped by this auto repair shop to estimate for repairs. "A good looking guy" checked my car and told me that the lights at both sides were not light up, both side were bad. so estimate $200 for labor and minimum $50 for parts. also said the parts are expensive. He did not answer me "why the signal shown that only right side tail light has a problem?". so I drove back home and open the tail light box and changed one of light bulbs, total cost was only $4. total effort was less than 5 min. By the way, I have 0 experience on how to fix issues of a car. As an auto repairs professional, the estimate is over expensive and adding issues which are not existed. This guy/shop is not honest and can not be trusted!

I used to think that going to SpeeDee would be convenient for getting an oil change, and it was until I realized how much they try to drain your wallet as much as they could that I now consider this place to be considered as a one star service. When changing my oil filter recently, I noticed that my oil filter was tightened way too tight. Usually you should be able to remove your oil filter with a ratchet wrench and be able to hand twist it right off. But no, whoever did my last oil service made sure to twist the filter on so tight to the point that only their tools that they had access to would allow for the filter to come off. I drive a 2013 Toyota Camry, and most of the oil filters are already plastic and not made to last for over a year. So if I wanted to do self maintenance for it, then you would think the mechanics at SpeeDee would allow for the filter to be easily accessible right? Wrong. It was the complete opposite, and it makes sense at this point because the mechanic was really trying to get me to accept other services at the time like getting new spark plugs, changing out my air filter, etc. for a really high price. Most likely didn't wanna let me do my own self maintenance if I wasn't willing to accept all of the other services so that they could take as much money from me as they could. Anyways, their previous service ended up causing a huge inconvenience for me, not coming back ever again.

My grandma took in her jeep for an oil change in January. When getting home she noticed a trail of some kinda liquid leading up her driveway. She contacted these people and she requested they come to her house and clean it up. Someone came to her house and cleaned up the mess. She went back to the shop and they tell her they forgot to close something properly so the oil spilt out and that was just the beginning. Since then she has been experiencing issues with the car and had to take to the mechanic. The mechanic informed her that her antifreeze hose had been tampered with, so I contacted this shop requesting to speak with a manager. The manager gets on the phone and tells me the owner will be there to call back in an hour. I call back in an hour and the manager tells me oh sorry the owner just left. Completely avoided giving out owners info, as well as franchise info. He tells me to give him my number and the owner will call me back. Never got that call. I recommend you don't take your car here, it's horrible. They are messing up cars left and right and not owning up to their responsibilities. I tried calling and now my number is blocked.

Please be careful when coming to this place!!! If you don't know much about cars, they will probably rip you off. I came in for an oil change and a visual brake inspection. My brakes were worn out and squeaking when asked how much for it over the phone they won't say until I go in. Then they told I had to replace my rotors along with my brakes which they quoted $1136 for a brake job! Seriously, if I didn't know any better I would have paid them but instead I took it to another shop and they replaced my front & rear brakes and resurfaced my rotors for $442. Also waited for almost 2 hours for the oil change and simple visual brake inspection. Everyone that they spoke to in the waiting was up-sell for something, probably not necessarily need. One guy did came in that had a brake replacement and he said it was squeaky after the job. Look , I know people got to eat but you just can't just rip off people's hard earn cash! Especially in this inflation economy.

The staff was helpful when we spoke. They got the job done, but they took over an hour. I got there at around 12:22 pm and didn’t leave until around 1:41 pm . Over one hour to do a car inspection, and when I got there, I only saw one customer waiting.

This business is a fraud, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Every time I brought my car there for oil change, they invented and recommended all kinds of repair works, costing thousands of dollars, that need to be performed. I MEAN EVERY TIME. I ignored most of their recommendations in the past. However, in the last visit for oil change, they convinced me that I need to change the brake oil and transmission fluid. I agreed and let them do the job, only later I checked the invoice. Instead of replacing oil brake, they replace the radiator fluid and charged ~$300 for this work. I am not sure whether they changed the transmission fluid or not since I cant verify. Do yourself a favor, AVOID this place.

Took my truck there for a smog check. Said it “didn’t pass” took it to my mechanic and said it should’ve passed. Took it back and denied it didn’t pass. Took it somewhere else and what a surprise it passed, went back to this location and showed them they honestly don’t know how to do their job. Also had bad experiences with other vehicles coming to this location as well. Don’t come here.

Usually I try not to give negative reviews to a business, I understand people make mistakes, but what bothers me is the lack of responsibility for them. I took my car here for an oil change and they broke my gear shift. My car is old so its possible the person handling the car was rough or something, I understand this can happen, what I cannot accept is they returned my car without telling me. The second I got it I noticed and they said they were re checking the car. After that the manager or owner, very rude came to show me that my car is old and thats what caused the issue. I kept saying it was not like that when I came here! And he kept interrupting me and saying they didn't do it and my car is old and I should go to the dealer and get that fixed, and just walked away and left me there. I think when people honestly come to you and say we broke this, sorry its old, says a lot about them as business managers or owners! Otherwise makes me question if thats what I see what happens under the car where I cannot see? Is not even a cheap oil change to say oh well you get what you pay for.. This was my second time here, I had doubts about coming back because last time my AC broke and I just thought it was a coincidence but after this incident I don't trust them anymore and definitely don't feel that they will take responsibility if something bigger happens to your car

much shady practices lie to me about brake fluid and transmission fluid said that transmission fluid needs to be replaced every 35k right said he did air in tires didn't do that was to vaccum the inside he said on the check vaccum broke in reality he just didn't want to but he I did oil change all thought I had to check the oil myself cause he didn't show me the oil line and then worst part is he rest the oil check life tracker himself whit out letting me check so never coming back
