I went in for what seemed like a relatively simple fix but it ended up being more difficult than expected. Despite that, Dan took the extra time and effort to fix it and didn't even charge me the full price! This place is run by the sweetest people who really want to help their neighbors. I cannot thank these people enough!!

Dan and Lady Jin are awesome. My car reeked of gas- called them THAT MORNING and they fit me in when I couldn't get an appointment anywhere else- had it back to me by noon the next day even though they were busy. Dan showed me my part- cracked fuel pump. They were very communicative through the whole process- I felt like I understood the timeline, the issue and associated costs. Their pricing was consistent with what online calculators had estimated, so I feel they price things very fairly. I've been driving my car for two months now, with a daily commute of around 70 miles and no recurrent or further issues. I hardly ever write google reviews, but one of the reasons I called them is because of what other people wrote here, so I want to offer that too- I had a great experience, all their praise is well deserved. Thank you S & S Auto Tech!! You all came through!!

A small two-bay garage attached to the Shell Station on North Bend and Edmondson. While the OG Jin is no longer working here, his sister, who happily goes by "Lady Jin," and her husband Danny run the show. I picked up an appointment card, and Lady Jin said they could fix something that had come loose if I just dropped off the car for the next day (they were full up on appointments that particular day). They have a small spot to park your car and there is a slot on the left side of the right bay door where you can drop off your key for the next day. Lady Jin even encouraged me to text her with any details, and she and her husband texted back in a timely fashion. Mine was a minor job, so she only charged $20 for the part, insisting she didn't mind doing such a small, quick task for free. I remember one time going to (brother) Jin to have him certify a paper confirming that I had fixed my broken tail light and when I asked how much I owed him, he waved me off like it was a silly notion. Lady Jin said they are proud to serve the local community and want to be an affordable option. I have been taking my car and my wife's there for two years now and they have been fantastic. She said they do most jobs (oil change, brakes, engine issues, tire rotation), though they don't do wheel alignments. If you want to support a small, family-run business that really takes care of you and your vehicle, consider Jin's!

The couple here is awesome! Very honest and they make your old car brand new. Got my 2013 BMW X3 serviced and repaired here. Never been betrayed and best for german cars! Will 1000% recommend them.

Lady Jin is a down to earth person and willing to help when we have an urgent need! Our engine light was on of a sudden and Lady Jin explained the situation to us very clearly also the price of checking was reasonable. Much recommend this small business!

I have done a BMW 535xi replacement of water pump, thermostat and axle, it’s very expensive at dealership but they only charge me 1/3 of dealership price and have done a great job! Thank you

I appreciate MsJin and Dan I been dealing with them for a couple of years. They did work on my Lincoln 2008 catalytic converters with over 300,000 miles sold it to friend and it is still running like a OX. One thing I could say about Ms Jin she is very honest and trustworthy. One day I had her check my car , what i thought was wrong with car wasn’t. They show what was the problem and save me a whole lot of money. S&S is my go to when a need a mechanic. They also change my rotors and brakes on my 2020 Hyundai. I never had no problem with they work. 👍🏾👍🏾

I had an exceptional experience at this auto repair shop! Lady Jin, the owner, was incredibly kind and made me feel like family. She truly put herself in my shoes, providing detailed explanations of the work and options available. My car was fixed efficiently, on time, and at a very fair price. The quality of the work is outstanding – you can see the remarkable difference in the before and after pictures. I won’t go anywhere else for my auto repairs and highly recommend this place to everyone!

S&S has been my go to business for the past 3 years and I highly recommend their services. Ms. Jin and company are the most honest, reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable. They treat you as family! I’ve had situations thinking I had car issues and they sent me on my way saying all is in working order and did not charge me. I recently had major car issues (almost loss my engine) they ran diagnostics fixed the problem the same day, even though they had other clients in front of me. I am very grateful for their integrity in providing amazing service to the community! I appreciate you S&S.

I have a fairly old car and I was debating on trading in my car vs looking into repairs and keeping my car. I thought I would have to trade in my car and was preparing to part ways with it. However, I heard great things about this auto shop and decided to bring my car in, and I am so glad that I did. Danny is extremely knowledgeable, talked me through all my options, and offered me great prices for all the repairs and tune ups I would need. I did extensive research and talked to multiple auto shops to compare prices, and no one could top S&S auto. I was so lucky that I decided to give them a try and overjoyed that I get to keep my car. I took my 2014 Hyundai Genesis to them with a blown motor and they replaced my entire motor including miscellaneous parts within a week and for a reasonable price. They are extremely family-oriented and are the nicest mechanics I've ever met! Much love to this shop and all they represent! Will go back for all vehicle needs in the future. 10/10

I've had to get a lot of work done on my car in the last few months. They went above and beyond to get my car back on the road. The pricing is very fair and the work they do is phenomenal. Not to mention they are very quick. I highly recommend this shop.

I rarely write reviews, but I had an incredibly speedy experience at this auto repair shop - much quicker than I expected or have encountered before. The mechanic was very honest and professional, unlike most mechanics who try to scam you for more money. I can tell this shop takes their customers seriously and is transparent in their pricing. Auto repair experiences can be hit or miss, but this shop is an absolute hit. I highly recommend them for their speed, honesty, fair pricing, and the welcoming atmosphere they provide. A big thank you to both Mr. Danny and Ms. Jin for making my visit exceptional!

If you are looking for a mechanic with heavily standards and honest integrity, this is your shop. The Jin's were a pleasure to deal with and did quality quick work repairing my LEXUS RX300. My visit to this auto repair shop was an absolute pleasure! Mr. Danny's honesty and professionalism stood out, making me feel at ease. Ms. Jin is very sweet and helpful with any potential issue while being truthful about whether it needs repair or not. Pricing was the best out of other shops, so I had no worry of being overcharged. They treated me like family and made me feel welcomed, which is hard to find elsewhere. A true gem of a repair shop that I highly recommend! This is the only auto repair shop I trust and will go to from now on. I will be returning soon :)

Very friendly, honest, fair and knowledgeable service. I am adding to my review since I've been back since last review. Lady Jin is so professional, sweet, and honest. I had a flat and they looked at it, as well as all my tires and found I had 2 bad tires. They had 2 tires at the shop same size as those on my car, one was was barely used and one brand new. They sold them to me for way less than a tire store would have. Lady Jin took the time to explain all my options, and she even recommended going to a tire company as one option instead of trying to pressure me into giving them my business. That is very rare for a company to actually suggest other options on top of giving you such good prices. I consider Jin Auto a real blessing not to be taken lightly. 👍👍👍🙏🙏

...and replaced an axle. Not only is he fast and incredibly knowledgeable, he's honest and inexpensive. I send anybody who asks about a mechanic here. Even my neighbor who is a gear head uses him when he doesn't have the time for his own repairs. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
