Helped me out big-time! Needed a side mirror replaced, one shop said they couldn’t do it because the model car was too new to get the part, another quoted me $700, even the dealership quoted me $420 just for the part. Finally, SSS quoted me $370, had the mirror in the shop and replaced by the next afternoon. The guy I talked with was chill and professional to boot. Very happy I found this place.

Support this small business (and forgo big box stores) . . . an auto shop that cares about customers and does great work. My car recently was stalling when driving. Kenny (the owner) went out of his way to help me get my car to the shop. He was transparent, kind, and honest in his communication and service. This will be the only place I bring my car to and I highly recommend SSS Auto to friends and family. Thanks for saving the day, Kenny!

I had a great experience with sss auto last month. I called 15 minutes before they closed for issues with my breaks and abs. I was leaving for a road trip two days later and was desperate to have my car fixed. I got there AS they closed and they got it fixed the next day. They quoted me a very fair price, and explained everything going on with my car in ways I could understand (silly 22 year old girl who knows nothing about cars). Never made me feel dumb, they do honest work and get it done fast! I’m really happy I finally found a good Chicago auto shop.

Great service. I had a rubbing noise coming from the steering of my Ford Escape 2014. They diagnosed and did a rack and pinion reassembly in 2 days. Also they worked with my third party warranty (Compass Protection Plan) that no one in the Chicago land areas was willing to work with. If you’re in the neighborhood and need your car fixed, I’d highly recommend them.

The service at SSS is friendly, fast, and trustworthy. I recently had a myriad of issues with my vehicle that they went the extra mile to help out with. I’ve been coming here for close to 4 years and still come here even since moving out of the neighborhood.

Highly highly recommend taking your car here if you need a place in the city. I'm so happy I finally found my new go-to mechanic. Long story short, the main issue that was happening with my car was actually due to a recall, and Kenny reached out to the dealership on my behalf to get it figured out. He laid out exactly what I needed to get done, answered all my questions (even after my car was out of his shop), and did NOT take advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars. Additionally, they fixed my horn quickly and at a reasonable price. I'm not one to leave reviews, but I genuinely had such a great experience that I needed to leave one. Thanks again!

Went through another persons insurance to fix my car from a collision accident. It was a new process for me and SSS auto made it very simple and turn around time was surprising, just a few days! Work looks awesome too. Thank you!!

Very friendly people, can ask them anything including about preventive measures when something goes wrong or if it's going be an expensive fix. Fast turnaround too because if I have to bring it in the morning I'll have it after work

I was stranded in my bmw 535i in the middle of Chicago with nowhere to go. They hooked me up with towing and got me in same day. The guys have great personalities and are true professionals. I was able to make it to my destination on time. I highly recommend, excellent work!

Came in an hour before close on a rainy Friday night after my battery died. Worker was super helpful and provided me a portable jumper to bring the car over to get the car battery tested. He was super patient and even provided advice on my battery rather than just immediately trying to sell me a new one. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone with car troubles for their incredible care and customer service!

Get your car repaired here! I cannot thank SSS Auto Repair enough for their outstanding service and kindness. Today, I was panicking when my car was unable to start. No one was able to determine why and some people even recommended to have my vehicle towed to a mechanic. I called SSS Auto Repair and the team took the time to patiently walk through what could be happening over the phone. Other people were convinced it was a larger and more expensive issue, but SSS Auto was able to provide clear and helpful reasoning that the problem may not be as it seemed. It turned out to be a simple battery problem. Thanks to SSS Auto, I was able to jump my car, get to their shop, receive last minute assistance from their team and be back on the road within the hour. The team did everything quickly and in the most inexpensive way possible. They were able even able to repair my battery rather than selling me a new one! If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Thank you SSS Auto! You have gained a loyal customer.

I could not recommend Kenny more! His team did a beautiful job repairing my passenger door that had been scratched/ started to rust from the snow. He washed the interior and exterior of my car and it looks brand new. Great service!

I was recommended to go to Kenny at SSS autorepairs in Lincoln Park and I had a very great experience. I do not really have any experience with mechanic work and thus always am worried that auto shops will dishonestly quote me. I felt that Kenny was very trustworthy and he walked me through every step of the way in a personable way. I've had such a great experience at SSS Auto that I felt it was only right to write a review. Everyone at SSS Auto has been incredibly friendly and helpful when fixing up my 2013 Kia Optima. It's been great working with them, I've felt clear and concise communication throughout the engagement and have continued to go back to SSS Auto whenever I've had a problem. If you do have a problem with your car, I'd highly recommend checking this place out.

My car stopped shifting gears and I was stuck in a parking garage, I was 2 blocks away and one of the mechanics came over and helped me get my car to the shop. They fixed my car and were extremely reasonable in price. They went above and beyond to help a stressful situation out for me. I highly recommend this shop. Dolores Sweeney

Our first experience with SSS occurred a few weeks ago. We got in the car to head out of town and discovered we had a flat tire. Kenny and his team had the problem identified and taken care of within an hour. I brought our car back today for a routine oil change and to replace a headlight. Kenny called with a couple other things that need attention with our car. He was up front about everything, and even helped me come up with a plan to prioritize which issues need to be addressed first and how to come at it from the most budget-friendly approach. We are thankful for Kenny and the team at SSS and will continue to return for all our auto needs!

Had an excellent experience with SSS Auto. I’m new to Chicago, so I didn’t have a mechanic. My car’s transmission was acting up and check engine light came on. Brought it here, they got it back up and running same day with new transmission lines. Will definitely return & recommend to friends.

I took my truck for a serpentine belt they were extremely professional told me how long and how much right over the phone! Very good customer service and explained everything well I will be coming back to this shop!
