I don’t even know where to start! I bought a vehicle from their next-door neighbor because they are owned by a brother and sister. Paid cash. next day car shuts off on me after they tell me everything‘s good there’s no problems this that and the other provide paperwork. So I went through with the sale well the next day waiting at a stoplight car shuts off on me. Call them they work something out where I have to pay half the price for the repairs even though I dropped $4000 the day before for the vehicle. So I bring it in they tell me a day, day and a half while three days later I get my car back they lose my engine cover! And I’m still kind of having some problems I had a tuneup done I had my upper and lower intake gaskets replaced. I’m still having misfire issues. This place cannot be trusted. Don’t buy from their next-door neighbor and don’t use their services here this place is a joke!

Fantastic place. Staff is friendly, professional and efficient. The lobby is very clean and inviting. Phone etiquette is superb. They offered a ride while they did the work, and go out of their way to be very accommodating.

I was traveling from out of state in St. Louis for my son's doctor's appointments and had some problems with my van on a Sunday. Through the kindness of some strangers, this shop went above and beyond to help me and get my van running. Professional and courteous. Highly recommend!

Pretty good experience. They did work on my car without telling me the price which was slightly annoying. I went in for a safety and emissions and called beforehand to make sure they had time for my car. Ended up sitting there for over 4 hours. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman? Not sure. Overall it was fine but not sure I’ll be going there again - at least not without a man to make sure I’m not taken advantage of lol.

I took a used Mini Cooper S from a different (pretty sketchy) car lot to get a pre purchase inspection, and the inspection revealed a huge list of issues with the car, to nobody’s surprise! Jack specifically helped me and advised me not to buy the car. He let me know the shop was selling a low mileage Mini Cooper S, and everyone was super accommodating, answering my many questions, and letting me test drive and thoroughly inspect the car. Lisa was incredibly kind and worked with me to get me a good deal! In addition, they did one repair i requested before purchasing, as well as a safety and emissions inspection. The car also came with a warranty which gave me peace of mind when purchasing. Overall a very friendly and accommodating experience, and I would definitely call this shop trustworthy!

Their service has really gone down over the years! I have been patronizing them for years, never had a problem till recently! Took my truck in for a dead battery and got it back with transmission light on, automatic start not working, and to top off they took wire cover off and instead of putting it back on properly, they just threw it in my front seat! Took it back for them to rectify the problem and they trying to charge me more money instead of fixing what they messed up! NEVER AGAIN THEY ARE NO LONGER REPUTIBLE! AND to add insult to injury if they scanned my vehicle for codes WHY didn't all codes show up! It was another gentlemen also in the shop the same time as me who's car they messed up! Gentlemen said when he brought his car in it was working, after them supposedly fixing it, his transmission was knocking and he couldn't drive it home WELL AT LEAST THEY OFFERED TO GIVE HIM HIS $1300 BACK! I just understand if u did a diagnostic one day, why after working on my vehichle you have to do another one the NEXT DAY! If my engine light wasn't on when I brought it in, it should'nt have just popped when I pick my truck up! AGAIN THEY MAY HAVE REPUTIBLE AND IN BUSINESS FOR 40 YEARS BUT NOW THE SUCK! SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!

I had the absolute worst experience with this company. I dropped off my 2012 Chevy Malibu because it had stopped on me. They took a couple days to diagnose my vehicle. Told me I needed a whole new engine. Total charge for diagnostics was $340. Shouldn’t take more than a hr diagnose but ok. I relaid to the company I needed some time to figure out if I could come up with 4K to get the engine replaced or make other arrangements. They said that was fine. My vehicle was there for 3 weeks at most. Two days before I picked up my car, I stopped by to speak with them about my vehicle, and noticed my car was sitting outside with windows down. I decided to stop by during the night to see if this was how they were storing my vehicle. It was in deed how they were storing my vehicle. The next morning I came to pick up my vehicle because I made up my mind that this isn’t where I would want my vehicle to get worked on because of how they treated your vehicle. After paying for the diagnostic I went to conduct a better examination of my vehicle to find my engine cover sitting in my back seat with oil pooling on the floor with a bunch of water from were they left my window open. Not to mention we had an ice/ snow storm over the days that my vehicle was outside with the window down. So I calmly proceeded to voice my concerns to the owner “PJ” who replied that it would be an additional 1hr of labor to clean up and put my engine cover back on. At this point I was very upset from the response so I said it ok don’t worry about the cover. Just clean the oil and water out of my car. I proceeded to take pictures. But honestly I’d NEVER recommend bringing your vehicle to this place if this how they conduct business.

Our son was driving alone from Georgia to Wyoming for his summer job when his truck began giving him problems in St. Louis. He located St. Louis Auto & Truck Repair from an online search, saw that they had great reviews and arrived when they opened at 7am hoping that they might be able to help him get back on the road. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, he enjoyed talking with the staff, they assessed his truck, did the repairs and had him back on the road by mid-afternoon. Our family would HIGHLY RECOMMEND St. Louis Auto & Truck Repair to anyone in the area needing assistance! Could not have asked for better!!!

Very happy with the service I received at Saint Louis Auto & Truck repair. I had them perform the first oil change on my new vehicle. I did not have a pleasant experience with my local dealer’s service department and I’m glad St. Louis Auto & Truck Repair was recommended by a neighbor.

As a daycare provider, our buses has been dropped off early, and by the afternoon the busses are available so we can drive them for the evening drop offs. Efficient, fast, and friendly service.
